The plants grow well in the first week I had 100% germination in the seeds, for a first-time sailor I'm happy. I added the humidifier to keep the humidity at 65%. Now in the second week I increased the quantity of fertilizers but always following the supplier's table and the plants seem to be enjoying their food.

This week really seen some big changes in the lady's. The blueberry is not wait on no1 she has really stretched and her budlets are the biggest in the tent. Loving the sweet smell she is letting out! The zkittlez glue is not stretching has fast has her neighbour! (Blueberry) she was really bushy so I defoliated her. I really hope me doing it to early has not stunted her stretch.. She looks so healthy and drinking loads. Has for the smallest girl in the room the northenlights she is growing well such a nice little plant to look at. I think she is going to do okay. Can't wait to start seeing the buds form and bring on the frost. Thanks again for taking the time to follow my grow diary really enjoying it so far!馃槉 happy growing to all the growmies. 馃尡馃榿

-Sensi Seeds Research: The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #13, week 6 of flowering : Everything went well during the week, maybe except the fan falling down right in the ScrOG ... damaging some stems, but after tying them to some sticks it looks ok, I don鈥檛 really see any difference in the pictures by the way. Tough genetics, I鈥檓 really happy with all of them, I can鈥檛 complain on anything. There鈥檚 buds everywhere, all dense and hard, this is what I like. 馃憤 Reducing BIO Bloom ( not Organic Bloom ) just a bit for this week, it might be one of the last feeding with Alga-Max for some plants and probably the last feeding for a few of them, I don鈥檛 know yet all depends on how it turns during the following weeks. 馃憠Tip for new growers : you must stop adding any PK boosters 2 weeks before harvest 鈽濓笍 Mars-Hydro SP 250 is very effective. I鈥檓 growing 3 small plants between the ScrOG鈥檚, was using my tubes for seedlings to give them a bit more light but nothing was really happening, they were having a hard life trying to grow some buds. But after just a lil bit more than a week under the SP 250 they started to make buds, getting fatter and denser, even the small nuggs in the bottom are getting some light which was impossible with the tubes ! (I鈥檓 looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 馃悶)

I did not expect anything special from this crop, but !!! The expectation met all expectations, the growth and formation of bumps continued as usual, until this happened ... the bumps began to increase sharply and grow on top of each other, this is wonderful, they are very large, a lot of sugars, the color is from orange to purple, the smell is pleasant, while sheared, rolled hashish, this is a buzz)))) waited until you can try the cone for taste and I was not mistaken! The taste is amazing, the effect of the bomb))) I would give it for testing, but ....))) Thank you all)

Harvested 3 plants. 1 was 56.20 dry at 52%RH 2 was 52.33 grams dry at 52%RH 3 was 80.23 grams dry at 55%rh Total=188.76 grams for 3 plants All the plants Peyote critical Orange SHerbert Candy Dawg where flowered under 300W Led Organic way. Total sum of grams for all plants 401.32 grams = 1.3333gram per watt Will i be growing this for the future? Nope, i'm looking for something more unique for my taste. Imo pretty generic kind of weed. Week 4 - It鈥檚 Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and as usual, there's plenty to report. A lot has happened, and once again, I鈥檓 bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Every week is a new learning experience, and I鈥檓 excited to share what鈥檚 been going on in the tent as my Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies continue to grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26掳C -Night Temperature: 22掳C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 24: 1 liter -Day 26: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Light distance now at 50 cm -Intensity increased to level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The most noticeable change this week has been the incredible growth of the plants. I鈥檝e uploaded some new photos for everyone to see, and it鈥檚 amazing how much they鈥檝e shot up compared to last week. The differences in growth behavior between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are becoming even more pronounced. The Amnesia Zkittlez has more than doubled in height since last week, shooting up and stretching outward. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies hasn鈥檛 grown as much in height, but it has become noticeably rounder and bushier, almost like a pufferfish. It's fascinating to watch these plants develop in such different ways. While the Zkittlez focuses on vertical growth, the Gorilla Cookies is spreading out horizontally, forming a dense, compact structure. All around the plant, small flower sites are emerging, extending from within the plant and beginning to take shape. This difference in growth styles really highlights the unique characteristics of each strain, and I鈥檓 excited to see how they continue to evolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation This week, I鈥檝e also focused heavily on training the plants using Low-Stress Training (LST) and some selective defoliation to optimize light exposure and encourage better growth. I applied LST more aggressively over the past few days, using clips to gently bend the stems of individual branches outward, almost to a 90-degree angle. This technique has helped the plants spread out horizontally, allowing more light to reach the inner and lower branches. I鈥檝e been adjusting the clips nearly every day to refine the structure and ensure that the light penetrates deeper into the canopy. The goal is to encourage outward growth and create more space for the lower branches to thrive. In addition to LST, I began selectively removing leaves. I started with the first set of fan leaves, followed by leaves growing inward toward the plant鈥檚 center. These were either shading promising bud sites or simply not contributing to the plant鈥檚 energy needs. I鈥檝e also removed the lower bud sites, which likely wouldn鈥檛 have developed into anything substantial. This way, the plants can focus their energy on the more promising, higher-up buds that are receiving better light. Throughout the defoliation process, I鈥檝e been careful not to remove too many leaves at once. I鈥檝e only taken off leaves that were either blocking key bud sites or were small and shaded, ensuring that the plant still has enough foliage to continue its healthy growth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine There haven't been any changes in my nutrient schedule or the way I water the plants this week. I鈥檓 still using the same BioBizz nutrients at the recommended dosages with each watering, and the watering process itself remains unchanged. Each plant receives a consistent 1 liter of water every couple of days, and so far, the plants are responding well. However, based on some recommendations I鈥檝e received, I鈥檓 planning to introduce CalMag from BioBizz into my watering routine over the course of the next week. This will help ensure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential for strong cell structure and nutrient uptake, especially as we move further into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned As I progress through this grow, I鈥檓 realizing how much more there is to learn, especially when it comes to managing light exposure and training techniques. It鈥檚 been rewarding to see how the plants respond to LST and defoliation, but I鈥檓 still figuring out the perfect balance. Every small change seems to make a big difference, and I鈥檓 constantly amazed by how quickly these plants adapt. Being a beginner, this process has been both challenging and exciting, and I can鈥檛 wait to see how the flowering stage develops. This journey has been a humbling experience, reminding me that growing plants isn鈥檛 just about following steps, but also about observing and learning from the plants themselves. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and it鈥檚 incredibly rewarding to see these changes reflected in the health and growth of the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead In the next week, I鈥檒l continue to monitor the pre-flowering phase closely. I expect the water and nutrient demands to increase even more as the plants transition into full flowering, so I鈥檓 preparing to increase the watering amount to 1.2 liters per plant soon. I鈥檒l also be keeping an eye on the structure of the plants, especially the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez. I may begin defoliating some of the lower leaves to give the plants more room to breathe and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. There鈥檚 a lot of excitement ahead as the flowering phase approaches, and I鈥檓 eager to see how the plants respond to these new stages of growth. Stay tuned for more updates, and feel free to drop any advice or questions in the comments鈥攖his journey is all about learning together!
