Grow report week 4: The training and the topping Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the fourth week and have grown further. But they have also experienced some measures that I will tell you about. The training This week I continued the low-stress training (LST) and tied the plants further. The LST is a method to gently bend and tie the plants to improve the light distribution and air circulation. The goal is to keep the plants low and wide and promote more side shoots and flower heads. The topping In addition to the LST, I also applied the topping to make the plants even bushier. The topping is a method to cut off the top of the plant to interrupt the apical dominance and produce more main shoots. The goal is to branch the plant and produce more flowers. I performed the topping as follows: I watered the plants well to reduce the stress. I cut off the top of the plant above the third or fourth node to create two new shoots. I observed the plants and looked for signs of stress or shock. The topping also worked well and the plants recovered quickly. They formed two new main shoots that will later become large colas. They also put more energy into the side branches, which will also carry more flowers. The fertilization I also fertilized for the first time this week, although I actually wanted to start late with it. I used the Fish-Mix from BioBizz to give the plants more nitrogen. Fish-Mix is an organic liquid fertilizer that consists of fish parts from the North Sea and organic sugar beet extract. It stimulates the biological activity of the soil and the plant growth. The Fish-Mix did well for the plants and they showed more growth. They formed more leaves and shoots and became greener and healthier. They also absorbed more nitrogen and produced more proteins. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the fourth week. My plants have been well trained and topped and have shown great growth. I am very curious about the next week, where I have to activate my setup completely to give the plants their final place and pots. It will be exciting for me to see if my system works as I wished. I will continue to observe the plants and respond to their needs. I will adjust the light intensity, the fertilization and the training to achieve the best results. 5th week of flower, the plant has stopped growing and focused on the buds. Both plants look nice, I’m hoping the 3 gallon plant gets fatter before the end though.

Alright alright… getting to that fun stage. Flowers are fattening and we are going to run them another week and a half for the effects I’m looking for. They have been de netted and trimmed up to expose all bud sites. There will be no larf or popcorn this run.

Day 12 Starting to show preflowers. Seems a bit late. I will take clones today from top 3 plants 81f/76%. 1100ppm. 1000co2 37-53kluxx 4 very sickly and ugly plants Plant stems are all pretty stiff by now. Looks like i could have fit 2 more plants Day 14 Plants are doing well with height control. I did a second Topping of the main 4 branches for each plant the week before flower flip. Most plants are 22-25inches tall 3 of my White Weddings are looking very weird. Not a clue as to what is wrong. Flowers are developing well on each plant No more LST from here in out. I will let them grow how they are(minimal stress) Started Defoliating

This week was a little rocky. Two girls on the outer edges are good, but the middle one is drooping and foxtailing already. It's weird because my middle plant was larfy last run as well. I might push her to the corner and let her do her thing with less attention... because I just got a photoperiod runtz clone that's gonna need some space and perhaps its own light. LST seems to be going well for the other two though. Sometimes with autos, it's just a genetic thing. They can be temperamental girls sometimes.

Things are going well, apart from the high humidity in the air here, creating moss on the surface of the soil, very annoying. 01/02 only pre-flowers have appeared so far, its characteristic scent is already noticeable

I started her flushing this week. I think she wants another week to ripen so I don’t plan to chop her until next Saturday (29/2). She is still filling in the runs on her tops. Two weeks ago I wouldn’t have thought she could but there’s been plenty of calyx growth and the runs are nearly gone 😃.

Grow Report Woche 4: Technik, Topping & Tapferkeit Hallo zusammen 🌱👷‍♂️ Diese Woche hatte es in sich: technische Erweiterungen, kleine Rückschläge – und trotzdem geht’s weiter voran. Die Black Cherries vom Super Sativa Seed Club zeigen sich robust und widerstandsfähig, genau wie mein Optimismus! Blumat-Erweiterung 💧 Ich habe mein Bewässerungssystem aufgestockt und sechs zusätzliche kleine Blumat-Tropfer installiert, um auch die Oberfläche im Beet gleichmäßig feucht zu halten. - Vier Tropfer wurden direkt in die bestehenden Tropfringe integriert – so erhalten die Pflanzen Wasser von beiden Seiten. - Die restlichen Tropfer ergänzen das Setup rund um die Hauptwurzelbereiche. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich dieses doppelte Tropfsystem auswirkt – bislang sieht alles stabil aus. Astbruch – schnell reagiert Beim Verlegen der Tropfer ist leider ein getoppter Hauptast abgebrochen. - Innerhalb einer Minute habe ich ihn mit einem 3mm Blumat-Schlauch fixiert. - Nach zwei Tagen zeigt er wieder normales Wachstum – das nenne ich Notfallpflege mit Erfolg! - Der Größenunterschied wird durch gezieltes LST ausgeglichen – so bleibt alles in Balance. LST gestartet 🌿 Diese Woche habe ich auch mit dem Low Stress Training begonnen: - Jede Pflanze bekam ihre Triebe positioniert, um das Wachstum gleichmäßig und lichtoptimiert zu lenken. - Nur bei der Pflanze mit Astbruch habe ich vorsichtig agiert – dort wurden vorerst nur die unteren Triebe bearbeitet, damit sich die verletzte Stelle vollständig regenerieren kann. Kleines Chaos, große Zufriedenheit Es war eine anstrengende Woche, aber die Ergebnisse stimmen mich positiv: - Pflanzen sind vital, wachsen gut, und der Schaden wurde schnell behoben. - Der Übergang zur nächsten Wachstumsphase ist in vollem Gange – trotz kleiner Stolperer. 🎥 Zum Abschluss: Zeitraffer bis Woche 4 Die Pflanzen sind jetzt so groß, dass die Kamera eine neue Position bekommen hat – höherer Blickwinkel, mehr Übersicht. 👉 Der neue Zeitraffer zeigt die Entwicklung bis heute – von zarten Sämlingen zu kraftvollen Pflanzen. Ich hoffe, dass die nächsten Wochen etwas ruhiger verlaufen, damit ich mich voll auf die Pflege und Beobachtung konzentrieren kann – aber ich bleibe optimistisch und freue mich auf alles, was kommt! 🍒
