This week I defoliated. Waited three weeks into flowering, to not stress them like I did last grow. She is rewarding me with some fat bud growth at many sites. I overwatered beginning of this week, but hey seemed to have taken it well. I did another amendment. The first one last week was a test, to see how they responded, they took it well. Just compare last week to this one. The amendment I did: - 5 liters of worm castings - 2 cups bonemeal - 1 cup wood ash - 1 cup microlife I layered this on top of my pots, covering this with bio-coco (pre fertilized) to ward of gnats. The gnats have been getting less and less. They don't like the coco that much, while humidity is just the same and last week higher since I did some more watering. I watered with the perma tea. While this is pretty acidic (PH 5), I can amend with more wood-ash, if you don't and follow this recipe, don't do too much wood-ash since it will kill off your micro organisms. I lowered the light diagonally since the outer right plant is longer and closer to it. The SP 3000 is still performing as you can see. Temps were a bit higher with the lights so low, so far the Orange Hill Special doesn't seem to mind. Im totally amazed with the results so far. At the end of week 3 I topped one of the strawberry cough they are all looking good and starting to veg I’m all caught up with the grow diary’s and will add at the end of every week. I’m in Australia and did start a little late into the season but hope to get a decent grow in they will be at my brothers once transplanted and he has a few aswel that I will add into the grow log nothing but sun and water only use a little thrive that’s from Bunnings that I get from my pops shed. They will be in a nicer cleaner soil when transplanted into veggie beds and will have chicken poo as a nutrient source first time ever using chicken poo so see how it goes. Will keep the grow log updated and hopefully everything goes all well for the travel and transplant for the plants in the next few days

At the end of week 8 the blackberry cake feminised is doing well as the bud formation tightens and the stigmas fade, leaves paled it’s looking like the end is nigh. All of her energy is being used to complete the bloom. The try chromes glistening over the flowers are mostly milky. The blackberry cake feminised stalk is beginning to dull/decay. In the last stage of defoliation she will be flushed thoroughly for the last two weeks. She stands at 67cm tall.

So week 2 lets see what this will produce ,transplanted few days ago and looking good so far ,they enjoying some root juice and Dynamyco

Week 14 for 9lb Hammer They are doing a little better with less heat but stems arent really fattening up whatsoever. Hopefully they get bigger before flower time.

This week I went back to measuring the ph and found out that the water I was using had a ph above 7.5 so I corrected the ph of the soil with a more acidic solution of ph 6 with algae mic.

8/2 some parts of the plant look like they have enough pistils to consider her to be flowering 8/5 gave her some open sesame, since she's shooting out so many pistils 8/7 shes 66 inches and id say shes officially flowering

11/26/23 - Day 19 - Today was water change day. By time I got around to looking at the plant I realized that a water change had already taken place. How amazing is that. I had to do nothing. I just wake up everyday to a plant much bigger than the day before. Its too easy! 11/28/23 - Day 21 - Today she is much bushier. It seems like shes is growing a whole leaf node out every 24 hrs. Really impressed with the color and size of this thing. I'm learning to expect great things from this Leaf growing experience. 11/30/23 - Day 23 - She keeps geeting bushier, maybe she has grown by about 2" since the start of the water change. Her color is the same all over, that dark but vibrant green. Because this is my first time growing an Auto in this box I'm wondering when I should top her. The branches are so close together. The last strain I grew had tons of room. This thing is growing like a bush. 12/1/23 - Day 24 - I did the first topping today. I took a video but its not uploading. Ill need to move it from my phone and upload from the computer.

NOTE: Measuring light distance from top of net rather than top of plants for consistency. - Plant were developing nice broad leaves, but were refusing to grow any taller to push through the netting. So, I raised the light 3 inches and switched on both blue and red lights to allow them to stretch through, which did the trick! - Placed a lot of stress on the plants this week trimming and training them to grow throughout the ScrOG netting and removing lower branches that were not receiving as much light to allow the top leaves to get more nutrients. - NEGATIVE: switched off the grow lights to get natural color photos and forgot to turn them back on until several hours later! :-O My babies are too young to flower at this point. Hope they stay in vegetative state without any serious impact. Fingers crossed! - Been experimenting with clones from clippings. Last week didn't do to hot, but this time I got two nice long pieces and trimmed off the majority of leaves to give the roots a chance to develop without fighting over nutrients from the leaves. The trick this time was 1) sufficient size of clipping, 2) minimal leaves, 3) dipping the base in mycorrhizal fungi concentrate, and 3) placement near the humidifier to ensure leaves get sufficient moisture. So far so good. Check them out in the time lapse video.

In the end it was a pretty good run, i have to say though that, probably due to some early veg stress, one of the plants probably suffered from hermaphroditism and impollinated the others, 5hus resulting in a few seeds here and there.
