Mexican Rush Auto – final review from my small farm. There are not many true sativa-dominant autoflowers on the market, which is exactly why Mexican Rush Auto immediately earned a place on my small farm. From the very beginning, this strain stood out with its classic old-school genetics and authentic sativa character. Mexican Rush Auto carries the spirit of legendary Mexican landrace strains that became famous during the counterculture movement of the 1960s and 70s. Grown originally near Acapulco in the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains, this cultivar brings a nostalgic and exotic experience that feels very different from today’s overly sweet modern hybrids. Throughout the grow, the plant showed stable and vigorous development. She spent a total of 9 weeks on the farm — around 3 weeks in vegetative growth and 6 weeks in flower. The entire cycle went smoothly without any major issues, making her a very enjoyable and stress-free strain to cultivate. The structure was clearly sativa leaning, with a dominant central cola stretching above the side branches and developing long, elegant flowers heavily coated in frosty trichomes. While the buds were not exceptionally large, they became surprisingly dense, firm to the touch, and extremely sticky by harvest time. After harvest, the whole plant was dried upside down inside the grow box. Drying conditions were not ideal, but slower drying helped preserve the aroma and resin quality. The drying process lasted approximately two weeks. The final yield came to 72 grams of dried flowers. Mexican Rush Auto proved itself to be a genuine sativa experience from seed to smoke. I’m very happy that this beautiful lady became part of my little farm, and I can easily recommend her to every grower and smoker who appreciates classic sativa genetics.
