Fantech’s FG 4XL EC is a 4-inch inline centrifugal duct fan designed for supply, exhaust, or airflow boosting in small ducts. It uses an efficient electronically commutated (EC) motor that is fully speed-controllable via a 0–10 V signal and pairs with Fantech’s EC‑10V potentiometer. The galvanized steel housing and external-rotor motor deliver durable, quiet operation with built-in thermal overload protection. The fan includes a mounting bracket for easy installation at any angle within the duct run and is rated for airstream temperatures up to 140°F. Maximum airflow is 180 CFM (≈306 m³/h) through a 4 in (≈10 cm) round duct. The model is Energy Star certified.
