Fantech FG 8 EC is an inline centrifugal duct fan in the FG EC series built for supply or exhaust ventilation. It couples an electronically commutated motor with a galvanized steel housing and fits standard 8-inch round duct. The fan is fully speed‑controllable via a 0–10 V potentiometer and mounts in any orientation using the included bracket and hardware. Maximum airflow is 428 CFM (≈727 m³/h) at 0 in. static pressure; rated performance is published across higher pressures for design selection. Typical electrical data are 120 V, 75.5 W and 1.32 A. The unit carries an IP44 motor enclosure and is suitable for airstreams up to 140°F, making it usable in equipment rooms, small commercial spaces, and grow rooms.
