Fantech FKD 8 XL is an 8-inch (203 mm) inline mixed-flow centrifugal fan for supply or exhaust ventilation in residential and light commercial ducts. It delivers up to 836 CFM of airflow (about 1,420 m³/h) at 0.0 in. Ps, using a mixed-flow impeller to combine good airflow with the ability to overcome static pressure. The galvanized steel housing includes mounting brackets for easy installation, and the external-rotor motor features built‑in thermal overload protection with automatic reset. The fan is rated for airstream temperatures up to 140°F and is 100% speed‑controllable when paired with an appropriate controller. The FKD 8 XL is AMCA air and sound listed and cULus recognized, and is offered in 120/230 V single‑phase configurations.
