Maryjane23 Hey guys! As I had already mentioned, here’s the new round with 4 plants, two Pineapple Chunk and 2 Runtz Muffin (I’ll open another diary to follow them more specifically). We’re planning two cultivation techniques: Main-lining with SCROG, all in a 100x100x200 box, using Jiffy for germination and then heavy mix soil from Top Crop.
I’ll be using fertilizers mainly from Top Crop.
For germination, I soaked the seeds in water at room temperature for about an hour, after which the seed was transferred to a Jiffy placed inside plastic cups with holes at the bottom and covered with cellophane. The Jiffy was rehydrated with water at pH 5.7; the next day it needed water again, so I watered it with pH 6.0 water.
Everything is positioned inside a greenhouse with a 35W heating bar connected to a thermostat that maintains a temperature of 26°C.
Despite the seeds being bought almost a year ago and then stored in the fridge, one of the two P2s was the first to sprout after just 18 hours, and after 34 hours the cotyledons were already visible—wonderful!
The other one has also sprouted but is still losing the seed! Very good!!!
After 4 days, they freed themselves from the seed and opened the cotyledons, so I removed the cover from the greenhouse to let them get good light! I installed a humidifier connected to a thermostat that keeps the humidity at 66-67% and the temperature regulated by a thermostat connected to a heater that maintains around 23°C during the day and 18-19°C at night.
I transferred them to a 4.8L pot; the root was already coming out of the Jiffy, and they were asking for too much water! Usually, I do this first transfer after a week, but these wonders demanded it after just 2 days...
Placed in heavy mix Top Crop soil and watered with pH 6.0-6.1 water. Light is at a distance of 41cm!

Maryjane23 Ciao guys, we started our first week of vegetative growth and they're doing well, a few leaves are a bit crooked but they're really good! I gave a bit of rooting agent to help with the transplant, also started with the enzymes, and this time we want to try giving the CO2 tabs through the roots. We put 1/4 of a tablet in 1.5L of water, hoping to notice their effectiveness soon.
The plants show a dark green color with wide leaves compared to their companions, the Runtz Muffin.
Day 8 watered 0.5L per plant, nutrient dosage for 1.5L was 1 ml of rooting agent, 1.5ml of enzymes, pH 6, EC 288 (meter not very precise)
Day 12 watered 1.5L for all with water and CO2 tabs 1/4 of a tablet.

Maryjane23 Hey guys, very good after 18 days we started the first step of the main-lining technique! 💪🏽
It's my first experience with this technique and I hope to handle it well!
So I did the topping and defoliation, and as soon as possible I'll tie them down.
They need water once every 6 days since I'm on a heavy mix, so I'm just giving water, a bit of enzymes, and CO2, so I have a low EC! (I don't write numbers because I have a very basic reader while waiting for a better one).
Everything is going as we expected in terms of timing, so we're very satisfied!

Maryjane23 Hey guys, the roots are starting to come out, so after letting it recover from topping and defoliation, we did the transplant into the final 18-liter pot!!
A few small difficulties, but everything should have gone well. Now we’ll let them recover from this trauma too, and then we’ll tie the topping shoots perpendicularly as the main lining technique suggests.
The leaves show some thermal trauma; we set up a 2000w heater connected to a thermostat, but since there isn't much space, it blows too directly towards the pots. I think that's the reason for the slight curling of the leaves! No big deal!!
Three days after the transplant, on day 24, the plants looked very nice and had recovered from the trauma, so we started tying them perpendicularly, first tying the leaves and then the shoots to the leaves, making it easier!!!
Since the new shoots are still a bit small, one is a little more difficult; we’ll wait a few more days! (P2) The other one, however, reacted really well! I tried different techniques for tying to choose the best one! One with wires in the soil, the other with string! Let’s see!!!
Day 25 P2 removed the leaves to get sunlight. It reacted quite well; it has a few clawed leaves that I'm keeping an eye on!
Day 27 P1 removed leaves to get sunlight; I tried a different method to tie them to understand which is the best solution! (First experience with this growing technique)

Maryjane23 Hey guys!!! We're starting the fourth week of vegetative growth! After a thousand tortures, especially since it's my first time tackling this growing technique, I've had some difficulties tying them down so extremely parallel to the floor; I'm getting them to bounce back soon and I'll be doing the second topping to achieve 4 colas. (final goal 8 colas)
I'm starting to notice some signs of deficiency due to a bit of nitrogen (incoming water around 600) and after 24 hours, improvements are already visible!
I managed to collect some runoff water and unfortunately, my pH is a bit high, but I'll fix it in the next few days!
Day 30, second topping done, lights off upon waking, tied down the lower leaves!
Day 34, tied down the other branches too! (P2) Healed perfectly from the wound, it's going well! It might have a slightly off pH, but I'll adjust it soon! Meanwhile, the other one has some signs of deficiency!
Let's wrap up the week well; I've removed the sun catchers, everything seems nicely perpendicular this time! Very satisfied! Checked the pH with a soil meter, pH in the soil is 6.8, a bit high, I'll try to lower it!

The plants were doing great but then unfortunately I broke a branch off one of the two plants! So my little one will only have 3 arms!!! But let's not get down because the rest are doing really well and are responding well to all the stress!!
Day 36 watered with nutrients!
Day 37 Did 3 toppings on the plant that didn’t get amputated! 😂
Day 42 I decided to bring back the amputated one from the box and put a photoperiod plant in its place that will then be scrogged with the others! The other one is giving me a lot of satisfaction, I achieved the result I wanted!! It can be improved, but for being the first time I’m using this pretty difficult technique, I strongly advise against it for a beginner!

We're finally reaching the end of this super vegetative phase, in fact, by the end of this week, they'll be switched to flowering!!!
My little plant is doing really well, but this week I need to fix the nitrogen deficiency. It really needs a lot, I'm fertilizing with every watering (every 5 days).
Day 70 switched to flowering 😎😎

It's blooming beautifully, I've almost achieved the result I wanted, which is big and dense buds all together!!!
There's always room for improvement, but I'm very satisfied with the results I'm seeing!
At this point, I'm fertilizing once a week with molasses!!!

The week started with a nice flush, running water with an EC of 264 for about 30 minutes.
Now I'm waiting for it to dry well for about 6 days and then I'll check the maturity of the trichomes (currently almost all white, but still mixed with some clear ones, unfortunately I can't take a decent photo to show you).
The result is exactly what I wanted, unique buds! Super satisfied!
The little one keeps maturing, I'm waiting for the soil to dry well and I think I'll harvest soon, just a matter of days, can't wait!!! 🤪🤪🤪

Finally, the harvest day has come! My little one had amber trichomes and was nice and dry, almost dead, so trimming was tough!
But an excellent result!
Just harvested, it weighs 300g when wet, and I'm curious to see the final weight after curing!!!!

But watch out for the munchies, you'll empty the fridge!!!
It has a pleasant relaxing effect... I recommend it in your free time!
I remember that for this grow I used fertilizers from Top Crop.
Heavy mix soil from Top Crop.
Lumatek Attis 300w lights.
I kept the pH between 5.8-6.5.
For the flush, I chose to run water until the outgoing water reached an EC of 248.
After about 7 days, I harvested when the plant was nice and dry!!!
It was a beautiful experience, I really appreciate Barney's Farm and its genetics!!!
