Welcome back to the Fastbuds ORT2112 Tester grow! She had a good stretch last week and has shot up to a good height whilst breaking into flower. Still growing like a champ and quickly becoming one fo my all time favourite fastbuds plants that I've ever grown in terms of how easy it's been. It really seems like a bullet-proof plant.
Day 35 - Height: 16"
Still looking really healthy and growing well! Photos from today were taken when the light had been off for about an hour, so she looks a bit saggy, but she's just taking a break. This plant has a few interesting characteristics that I'm noticing, firstly she has dark green leaves with that cabbage-like texture. Normally I might suggest this was a Nitrogen toxicity, but she has grown like this since day 1. Up until now I've mostly just been leaf tucking but I think I'll have to do some serious defoliation throughout this week to help clear up some space around the branches. Nutrient-wise, I'll start bringing in Bloom Nutrients from this week as she's pretty much in the swing of flowering now. As always I'll bring them up gradually and see how she gets on! I'm still going to feed her 1ml/l of CalMag this week, which will be the last week of CalMag, just to make sure she doesn't develop any calcium issues in the transition from veg to flower.
Day 39 - Height: 16"
Love this plant. It has stretched a little, but I am expecting this next week or so to be the making of her, as she should start to fill out her bud sites so we can see what she's actually going to start pushing out. I can't get over how easy this plant is, I'm basically just coasting through everything. Nothing special as far as care goes, I did some light defoliation and took off some of the largest fan leaves that were sitting in the middle of the plant and taking up space. Otherwise, just pushing on and sticking to the nutrient schedule. Happy days!
Thanks a lot for following along, grow well!
