Germination

If you look closely at the first pic you can see the pod lifting from the soil. I germinated in a glass of distilled water for less than 24 hours, then threw in paper towel less than 24 hours before planting with a quarter inch tap root. I pre-amended my 70/30 mix with dry amendments from Aurora. The reason I went with this style of grow is I had seen a YouTuber "Mr. Canuck" have a lot of success with a similar run. 3 of the four plants are different types of high quality autos, and one is an unknown female photoperiod strain. I plan on growing the three autos and the veg cycle of the female photoperiod together, then after the autos are harvested I will focus all my attention to the flowering cycle of the female. My long term plan I think is going to be to use the female as a mother and cut a bunch of clones to root, thereby short-cycling the clones and always have a harvest ready to come in. I am thinking to do it this way because my apartment is too small for a larger/secondary grow tent. This is my first ever attempt at growing medicine and so far I have loved every second. Cheers fellow tokers/cultivars and much Love. - MikeyGT

Things are going great after 7 days, all the plants are opening up and the leaves are nice greens and one even has some reddish colors showing a bit. I am excited to see how these come out, especially because the strains are unknown (my cousin didn't have them labeled but they're all from Crop Kings). I also top dressed a half teaspoon each of Aurora Organic Roots Elemental and Aurora Organic Roots Uprising Foundation, then roughed the surface soil and watered. I think it's still really early, but I wonder if that little runt of the auto litter I have going is going to be a sativa? The leaves look really skinny compared to the others. Cheers guys! Happy growing and smoking!! Much Love, MGT Monday, March 22nd - 9 Days - Added Organic Worm Castings, 3 Tablespoons for each plant and worked into the tops then watered until damp. Wednesday, March 24th - 11 Days - The growth is looking great on the 2 autos and the photo especially. Unfortunately I think we'll have to abandon hopes on the runt pulling through. The second set of true leaves almost look like crumbles and the first true leaves have no symmetry or any kind of leaf structure. Also I pulled the light up about 8 or so inches, I think I was underestimating how hot it was up close to those lights. But it didn't do any kind of damage luckily.

Week two is looking good so far, I backed the lights up a little bit more again. I notice what looks like a tiny burn on the top on the photo but it might just be new growth. I will upload more picture later today/this week. Happy growing and smoking Growmies! Day 16 - Added some more pics, the plants look great and I'm just top dressing cal mag/grow by Aurora with some worm castings. Easy mode so far! Much Love Growmies!✊
