18/3 She's off 😀, if she knew what was instore for her maybe she wouldn't be so keen.
Over the past weekend I was shown an interesting way to start a seed in order to get a straight tap root. This has been my first chance at trying it, looks like it works, cheers @Nickeluring. One for one thus far 😁
20/3: She's got her head up, but still needs to shed the seed casing. She should manage that in the next 24hrs, and that'll give me the germination date 😀. Watered her with some Root Juice at quarter strength, and she only got 60ml of it, so next to nothing. Lights are on half power so about 15w LED, the full 30w has proved too much in the past. Let's see if I can get her through the first 14 days with out problems.
20/3: First set of leaves are growing funky 😕😠😡. Not unusual for me I know 😂. I can only put it down to the tiny bit of root juice 😮, it's not the light, temp or humidity. No more root juice until she starts playing the game 😂
21/3: She's up and at them, humidity looks good under the dome. She's lost the seed casing, and isn't showing any signs of distress............... yet😀
Well the tiny bit of Root Juice was too much. She's spent most of the week with her leaves folded up.
It's only been the last couple of days that her leaves have folded back down, and today she looks back to normal.
No more Root Juice until later in the week, at least.
The slight overdose hasn't burnt her any, so hopefully normal service will resume from here on out 😀
31/1 She's still fighting to resume normal service. I've had her outside with her siblings the past couple of days for some encouragement.
This poor little one is still trying to battle her way through the seedling stage.
Still holding off on any more feed. Her largest leaves are still showing their disgust at the Root Juice I tried giving her too soon.
Also her stem is still very weak, she's struggling to hold herself up. This might be because Dobby has found a new play friend, but I haven't caught her at it, innocent until proven guilty around here.
Update: Found this little one all bent over this afternoon, Dobby was up there, but swears it's not her.
I think she's telling the
truth, I think the breeze got to her. I've given the little one a second stick to cling to.
It would seem I've managed to get this poor little thing back on track.
She didn't have a negative reaction to her light feeding earlier in the week, although I'm taking the fading of her cotyledon as the first sign of hunger.
I'll up her feed slightly over the coming week 😀
14/4: I think I should have upped her feed earlier in the week 😒. Her new growth is looking a little pale now. Fed today, so we'll see how she responds.
At last this one can support itself. It's still a little on the sender side though, makes her look frail though.
I don't think she's far off getting a topping.
20/4 Update: So today was topping day. I also removed her lowest set of limbs. She'll be fine 😁. HAPPY 420 😝
This is another girl that's spent the week hiding from dark skies and rain. The Sun has deserted us.
She's still getting 12hrs of light in the tent overnight, but it starting to get cramped in there again.
She's recovering from her topping, but I'm not sure I took enough off.
I'll try and get better pics if the Sun decides to come back 😕
What a week this ones had.
First she's been attacked by bugs, little bastards. She's had a spray down with some Neem. Fingers crossed that'll do the trick, and keep any others from getting ideas.
As if that wasn't enough I broke her stem 😨. She's been bandaged up, and looks like she's taking it in her stride. Showing preflowers and looking banged about, but pretty 😀
Well she's growing better than this site is working, there's still no drop down menu to add different nutes 😁
She's going to be a small plant for sure, but she's getting some really pretty flowers.
This one's quite a petite girl, but a looker none the less. Her flowers are very pretty, and showing some frost 😁
She's being very easy thus far, no sign of complaint which is something in my hands 😂
Loving this girl. She's pint sized, but I don't care. She looks like a small bouquet of flowers 😁, and what pretty flowers they are.
She's shown no problems with her nutes (unusual for one of my plants 😃), and seems to be fattening up well 😁.
She's not very smelly, until you move or disturb her. Then she has a thick spicy smell. Looking forward to trying this one.
Well this ones all but there. She's not really fading yet so I'm going to give her a little longer.
She's smelling great, but more so when she's disturbed.
