Freebie by Mephisto Genetics. Germination was smooth, 24h water cup followed by 12h paper towel. Popped out of the soil after 3 days. That is when I start counting the days. Watered about 1/2L when dry. Light at 30” and 20% intensity.
She is booming. I did some light LST mid week and will keep maintaining from now since she seem to grow pretty fast. SF4000 at 30“ @ 60% intensity. Watered about 1L when dry.
Water 2 times this week, 2L each time. The second watering was a worm casting tea. (Worm casting, Kelp meal, Alfalfa meal, molasses and Miicrobial Mass) all sat in a 5 Gallon for about 30 hours and I used a aquarium bubbler to aerate the mixture.
I did some LST on her that I maintained all week..
Temperature was getting too hot in the tent so I turned on my air intake. RH is now around 45%.
Light intensity got raise at 80%. Still at 30" from plants.
Top dressed mid-week with 4 Tbsp of 2-8-4 and 1 Tbsp of 4-4-4 in a 5 Gallon fabric pots, so 1 Tbsp per Gallon. Also add 1/5 worm casting from the tea on top with the nutes.
Water 2 times - Average PH6.5 - 2L each time
Same temperature and RH than last week 21/23C and 45%
I moved the light from 30" to 26" and raised the intensity to 100% (SF-4000)
I installed a net mid-weed. Hole size 3.5"
On the last day of the week, I did a huge defoliation and removed all lower buds sites.
This one is in advance in comparation with the other plant in the tent. She is at her pompom stage already and start to smell.
She was droopy this week, might have been overwater however she seem to get better today.
Water 3 times 2L, PH'd at 6.4/7.5/6.6.
Gave her a Worm Casting Tea mid-week (Worm casting, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, Miicrobial Mass, Molasses)
I did a little bit of LST and some defoliation.
She is budding pretty nicely she is in advance from the rest of the other plant in the tent.
I keep my light at 26'' from the top of the canopy, the light is at 100% intensity.
Good week,
first time my plants are not turning yellow at flower stage so that is good.
Water 4 times 2L/2L/2L/1L at around 6.5ph. I could have wait to water tomorrow instead of 1L today.
Top dressed at the beginning of the week with 1Tbps/G of 2-8-4 (Gaia Green Power Bloom) also add 1Tsp of Cal-Mag/G of water just precautionary during one watering.
She is budding nicely and is in advance on the others.
A few leaves are starting to turn yellow around the edge of the leaves plus some light nutes burns.
Light is still maintained at 26" at Max intensity.
Watered 3 times, 2L/1L/1L at around 6.5 Ph.
Developing some good promising buds. She is in advance than the other one.
She look healthy, she has some fading leaves but I guess it's because she is at the end of her life cycle since all other plants in the tent are all green still.
I am not going to do much on her until harvest.
Watered 2 times, 2L at PH 7+/6.6
Her first watering was a Worm Casting Tea that I don't PH, brewed for 26h (same recipe than last time)
Second watering I had 2 Tsps of Cal-Mag in a 5 Gallon just preventive.
I did some defoliation and I removed the net from my grow
Temperature raising up to 27-28C. I will be adding some AC next week.
Buds are maturing nicely. Trichomes are ripening. Nice solid nugs.
Watered 3 times 2L at 6.4/6.6
Raised the light to cover more area. Light at 100% at around 36"/40".
Topped dress mid-week with Gaia Green Power bloom 2-8-4 at 1 Tbsp./G medium.
Installed an A/C unit to cold down the tent at around 19C during light time.
I had to keep my tent open because for some reason the humidity was going very high with the A/C inside the tent.
The tent was going up to 28C and I wanted something way cooler since the plants are at their ripening time.
Trichomes are mostly clear with some milky and no amber.
I started a worm casting tea for next week on the last day of this week.
It will be her last feed.
I am still not sure if I have to flush or not, since it is organic, but I had some harsh weed last time and I suspect it's caused by my nutrients, flushing or curing technics.
Not sure at this stage if the leaves are fading or the plant is hungry.
Watered once 2L before the big flush of 10L at 6.5.
No Amber trichomes yet but mostly milky.
The buds are looking almost ready.
The buds swollen but still have a few new grow and white pistils showing up.
She will go for an other week.
Watered 2 time 3L/2L at 6.5
- Trichomes: I could not find any Amber trichomes on her.
- Pistils: A few white pistil still.
- Buds: Great looking buds, fat and frosty.
My plan is to harvest in a week or 2.
Pretty good week. She was basically on auto-pilot for the past weeks. Harvested at the end of week 13 (day 90).
Water only one time this week, 2L at 6.5.
She received 48h darkness. I did that to half of my plants to see if it's actually make any difference at the end.
Nice looking plant. I am not a fan of the smell right now but should change after drying/curing. She smell like a purple weed if that's a thing.
The plant is now hanging in my tent at around 50% RH and between 18-20C.
Next week I will update with the harvest/drying.
Nice plant. It grows so well and fast at the beginning that I thought I was going to harvest her weeks before the other plants in the tent but she last till the end and even than she could have stayed a bit more without issues.
The buds are nice and smelly note of citrus and sour.
Dried for 9 days in my tent at a steady 55% RH and 20C.
Jarred with Boveda pack 62% because I dried it a bit too long but I rather have a so-so cure than a wet/hay smell that last forever.
Satisfied with the result. I will grow this strain again for sure, great plant overall.
Nice smoke so far, I am happy about it. I wish the plant would have yield more but what I have is quality.
