This is kind of a personal preference. For me, what works the best is:
- putting the seed in a cup half filled with fresh water (48h). In theory, this method breaks a state of "sleeping" of the seed.
-after 48h submerged in water, I transfer the seed to a paper toil inside a conteiner (like a tupperware).
- cover the seed with another layer of paper toil and spray some water on top.
- close the conteiner and put it in a dark and protected place, like in the back of your closet.
Keep checking every 2 days, when the sprout is about 2cm, it's time to plant 😉
Cheers
