Growing Black Domina "Fast Flower" photoperiod seeds from Farmers Lab Seeds. The seeds have been sitting in my fridge for the last 5 months or so while I waited for my previous grow to finish.
Mar. 18: 3 seeds dropped into water and soaked for ~16hrs before transferring to wet paper towel.
Mar. 21: 2 of 3 seeds have 1/2" tap roots and are planted in soil in solo cups. The third seed has a tap root barely starting to poke out.
Mar. 22: The third seed sprouts a tap root and is planted into a solo cup,
Mar. 23: The first two seedlings emerge from the soil.
Mar 23: The first two seedlings have sprouted 3/4" out of soil.
Mar. 24: The third seedling popped out of the soil.
Mar. 29: Seedlings have grown 2" tall.
Mar. 6: Plants were transferred from solo cups to final pots. The bottom half of the pots were filled with straight hot mix and the top half was gradually blended with base soil.
Mar. 12: End of Week 3, plants are looking healthy and reacting well to their new home.
Apr. 15: Watered all plants with 1L of tap water adjusted to pH of ~7.0.
Apr. 19: End of week 4 - topped all 3 plants today. Plant heights range from 6 to 7 inches.
Apr. 24: Watered all plants with 2L of tap water adjusted to a pH of ~7.0.
Apr. 26: End of week 5 update. Plants are looking healthy and have grown to a height of 8.5-9 inch. I will most likely switch to flowering schedule at the end of next week.
May 3: End of week 6 update. Watered plants today with 2L of tap water adjusted to a pH of ~7 (9 days between watering). Plants have grown to be 10-12" tall.
May 4: Switched to veg+flower light, increased set temp to 24.5 deg. C. Take clone cuttings and cut back some under growth.
May 6: Switched to 12hr light schedule. Started using LST for even canopy.
May 10: End of week 7, first week of flowering, plants look great.
May 12: Watered all plants with ~2L (64 oz) of tap water, adjusted to a pH of ~ 7.
May 17: Plants are continuing to grow nicely and fill up my tent. Continue to trim up lower leaves. I think I've probably over-watered a little bit as the plants haven't been super thirsty up to this point. The last couple days have been quite warm so plants have seen temps of 26-28 deg. C. 3 of 4 clones have roots poking out of the rockwool cubes.
May 24: Buds starting to grow bigger, smell getting stronger, trichomes starting to appear. No watering this week. Trim lower leaves and new growth. Increased set temperature slightly as daytime temps are increasing.
May 25: Watered all plants with 64 oz (~2L) of tap water, adjusted to a pH of ~7. Some lower leaves were drooping but quickly came back to life after getting water.
May 31: Buds are getting fatter and looking great. Daytime temps continue to rise. Trimming leaves as necessary.
June 7: Buds are continuing to develop and the stretch has really slowed down. I watered all plants today with 64 oz of tap water adjusted to pH of 7. The plants seem to be drinking a little faster now.
June 14: Buds are getting fatter and a strong terpene smell. Watered all plants today. The stigmas are starting to turn orange, primarily on my smallest plant.
June 21: End of week 13 update (7th week of flowering). Only a couple of terrible photos checking the trichomes. Plants are close to being ready but trichomes are still clear
June 28: End of week 14 update (8th week of flowering). Daytime temperatures have been on the rise and plants are showing signs of heat stress. I haven't been monitoring the plants very closely.
