Hello to everyone guys. I hope everyone has been growing epic buds since the day I finished my first diary.
My first diary went pretty cool. I enjoyed a lot but knowing myself I knew that I had to learn more about growing cannabis to achieve higher levels and be okay with myself.
So Zigk after many hours of researching, smoking and having fun came up to this day with this diary. Hope everything goes well and what I've learned will bear fruit in this grow (literally😅)
Let's talk a little bit about my setup and the flashy "Automatic-Watering System" to shed some light in the tunnel.
I bought a tent 0.40x0.40x1.40cm so we are pretty tight here but I am hoping for a "one and good" plant. I am going to use for lighting the led panel from Spiderfarmer SF-1000, big upgrade compared to the 250w CFL I had back then.
I will be using coco coir in a 6lt airpot with high fertigation and a RTW/DTW hydroponic system. I've also got some pretty good meters. HM Digital PH-200 for pH and HM Digital COM-100 for EC. There is also a humidifier and a carbon filter from Airontek with a VKO 105m3/h exhaust fan.
So how does the Automatic-Watering System works and how do I achieve high fertigation with that :
There is a reservoir (blue box in my case) out of the tent where I keep my nutes mixed with water. Inside the reservoir is an airstone that provides oxygen and a submersible water pump connected to the pipe.
The water pump plug is connected to a timer which I set when to run and for how much time. When the pump is on is sending nutes to my plant and I can control the flow of it with a valve. Practically I dont have to water by hand and I can achieve high fertigation which means watering with nutes many times a day. My plan is to water 5 times a day.
Now is the time for the big question. Will this work and give me higher and better yields?
I am not going to explain the science behind this theory because I want to keep the diary clean and talking about this would need many rows of words. You can search it on internet tho and find many articles.
I am not capable of answering with confidence now and we will only be sure by watching the results. So let the time show us and have fun!😄
Hello guys I've got a question about my new lights.
I have the led panel from spiderfarmer SF1000.
Any tips on how to use it? 😆
Should I dim it for the seedling stage or have it constantly at 100% power?
Always go full power unless you can do your own PAR tests.
Follow the ppfd maps for your light.
Seedlings 400 ppfd
Veg 600 ppfd
Bloom 900 ppfd
So for your light:
Seedlings 20-22"
Veg 16-18"
Bloom 12-14"
Use the higher measurements if you have a single plant directly underneath the light and the lower measurements if you have two plants underneath it.
Week 1 has officially started!
I will be honest with you guys. I've got many problems to solve but I will never give up.
First of all I have extremely high temps inside the tent (27-29 Celsius), I cant keep humidity at the right level and there is no efficiency/workflow when it comes to the reservoir and its refill.
Also I am thinking of getting rid of the drain system I have made to lower the pot and consequently winning more distance from the leds.
End of week update : The first week just finished and things are going smooth. I upgraded to 12.5lt air-pot and didn't use the 6lt air-pot I had originally planed.
I also upgraded the watering system with a flexible pipe that makes the maintenance really efficient. Lastly, I managed to control tent’s temps and relative humidity.
We are going good with fast growth😎
I am constantly trying to improve things guys and make it as best as possible!
I will really appreciate every help and advice you will give me and I am thanking you now, in advance.
I will keep it very informational and write on the comments the EC of as many waterings I will measure.

Week Two!😃
I am waiting for a timer that counts seconds so I can have 10-15sec intervals per watering and not 1 min I have now.
When the timer comes I will be updating the inflow and runoff EC I measure.
End of week update : As you can see my lady got some problem on the first leaf set. My speculation is that it is either Light Burn or Potassium deficiency. I am observing the problem closely to solve it asap. Also I got algae on the surface of coco. I bought Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to wash my tubes and reservoir. Also painted the tube that water moves through matt black to destroy the birthplace of algae. Lastly, I am understanding EC much better compared to two weeks ago and I am regulating the nutrients formula to hit that sweet spot.

Week 3!😄
This week is dedicated on learning and improving. First of all, I am changing my reservoir to a bucket with lid and buying new black pipes because as it seems you cant just spray silicon tubes.
I put some black tape on top of the surface to prevent algae and also bought H2O2 Liquid Oxygen from Growth Technology.
I am starting to doubt the recompense 5-times a day watering gives. I am still researching on that before I give it up though.
I dimmed my leds to 60% power because symptoms start showing more and more that yellow leaves are caused from light intensity. Time will show us 💪
Day 16 : I am watering manually this time till the watering system is ready to work properly. I prepared 1.5lt of RO water with 1.5ml of grow part A and part B and 2ml of B-52 with total EC of 0.64. First runoff was 0.58 and second 0.51.
I also foliar sprayed with Acti-Vera and cut the two burned leaves at the bottom. I saw something white moving on coco this morning. Maybe It was gnats larvae but I keep my cool. I know that whatever happens I will see it fast enough and take action even faster!
End of week update : Humidifier is no longer needed so I put the pot at the bottom 65cm away from led. After 3 weeks I found the way for DTW to work. You will see it next week. I am still not sure about nutes and autoflowers. Should you lower dose or have it as recommended?

Hello everyone, we are on week 4😎
So what happened to this week in a nutshell : At day 24 I started my LST (you can see the kung fu above) and at the same night my high self broke one stem from the 3rd node. It broke in a weird way and spot so I didn't manage to tape it correctly considering I was stoned😂
I was sad for 1 millisecond because I wanted things to go perfect but then I thought : Who am I to go against the flow of highness. The stem snapped for a reason🙏
So we are on day 25 now and I also cut the stems from 1st node because I believe they wouldn't go big anyways.
In total : Both stems from 1st node got cut and on stem from 3rd node died by accident. Let's see how things will end up!
End of week update : Definitely having something moving on the coco surface, probably gnats. I will try to kill everything😇 Also I finally made my DTW/RTW system as I wanted it to be. I opened a hole under the plate that goes through the tent and the wood so that runoff goes straight to a bucket. Also made another bucket for my nutes and the pump. I am going to my family for holidays so week 5 probably won't have much 😤

Week 5😃
Unfortunately, I am visiting my family for Easter so there will not be any update after Day 29.
Some bad news : I accidentally broke the main canopy. I tried just to bend her a little lower and it snapped. I taped it and hope it recovers🙏
End of Week Update : Finally Home. So what happened these days.
1st : The plant wasn't watered at all (auto-watering system still on the making)
2nd : Main Canopy didn't mend herself after getting snapped
3rd : Still keeping good vibes and energy 🤘
Week 6😎
Day 37 : Watered with 4lt today my girl was thirsty, buds are turning purple day by day!
Day 39 : I am feeding 1.5lt every day EC 1.7 with 0.7lt runoff EC 1.6 I gotta lower the volume of water I give. Also pulled some branches slightly to the side with plastic wire
Day 41 : I bought Sensi Cal-Mag and watered 3lt EC 1.5 with 1.2lt runoff EC 1.45.
Digital timer with seconds intervals finally came to family. Automatic system will be done soon. Cant wait for the next grow!
Week 7😎
Day 44 : You can see edges of leaves curled up. This is caused 100% from heat stress in this situation. I am fighting with 28-30 °C. I will upgrade with a Φ100 VKO fan for intake.
Day 45 : I did my final defoliation. I cut many small leaves that were making shade to buds and most of the big old fan leaves. Keep having serious problem with VPD, solution has to be found soon!

Last but not least after this grow I am going to upgrade my closet for a better yield, quality and efficiency.
