Nugdaddy She’s growing fast! I think it’s the 24 hr cycle which I will reduce as she ages. Just watering so far.

Nugdaddy She’s growing fast! Can tell this ones gonna be a very enjoyable grow. Will start LST. Starting to see a small fungus gnat issue, nothing detrimental. That’s the issue with potting soils and going organic it creates a perfect environment for pests. I’m using diatomaceous earth sprinkled on top of soil but it’s not working as good as people said online.

Nugdaddy Looks like the HLG lights burned the tips a little. That’s my guess although I’ve raised the height above manufacture recommendations and have kept the light dimmed at 50% it seems like it was too close still. Preflowers are showing!
Anyone ever experience twisted tips and light yellow/ bleached/ burned tips from LEDs? What were the watts and height that caused such an issue in yours? What helped?
Hi! Yes I experienced with mine under Mars TS 1000 when I did not follow manufacturer height specifications for a few days. Immediately after rising them , in this case at 62 cm, and later at 68 , problem solved.
Nugdaddy You can really see the red. Especially on the bottom where there’s less direct light. 🧐 I believe direct light (from my LED) shades it darker.
