March 27
GrapeGod # 1
Switched out the tie down stakes for a tomato cage ring to help achieve a more even canopy.
GrapeGod # 2
Adjusted tie downs for wider canopy.
March 28
GrapeGod # 1
Fed this morning, mistakenly gave four litres instead of three. We'll see how angry she is later.
GrapeGod # 2
Fed three litres.
Both plants bouncing back very well from defoliating and lst.
April 1
Grapegod # 1
Transplanted into a 102L tote filled with promix bx and moved to new tent under Bloom aplus BP 4000 light and watered 4L.
Grapegod # 2
Pulled down the stalks more. Fed normal feeding.
April 3
Grapegod # 1
Transplant went very well, no stress to the plant. Tied her back down this morning without issues. This strain appears to be the hardiest one we have grown so far in terms of bouncing back.
April 4
Grapegod # 1
Trimmed off fan leaves covering new sites. Pulled down even further.
April 14
Missed my update last week. This grapegod is starting to pick up steam. Pulled it out more and trimmed off some of the weaker growth sites. Fed 4 gallons today. Loving this promix substrate, it really takes the watering well and doesn't drown the plant.
April 18
I love checking in on this plant in the morning, she is over triple the size of the sister plant that's in a 3 gallon pot. Fed five gallons.
I've been terrible with updates, but this will be the last veg update. This plant has grown really well, I'm very happy with its progress.
Lollipopped her today and gave 20 litres of feed. Tomorrow I will be changing the timer to 12/12 and hopefully she doesn't stretch her way out of a tent.
May 13:
Flipped on May 11 after some heavy defoliating. I wasn't using the Maxisun PB2000 so I put it up with the Bloom Plus BP4000 for a combined 600watts of light power. I have a sister grapegod in a 3 gallon pot in the other tent under a tsw2000 that's been flowering for almost 4 weeks already, can't wait to see the difference between the two.
Gave the largest feeding thus far with 30 litres and have approximately 5 litres of run off. Starting to run low on nutes and my local store is out with no mention on when they will be back in stock due to covid, had to order some online hopefully it comes in before I run out.
May 16:
Lollipoped her and tucked a few that were stretching ahead of the others.
May 23:
Little slow on the updates, did a minor trim this morning to uncover bud sites. Removed a couple sucker branches that didn't turn out how I had hoped. Running out of room to tuck the mains down in the trellis but the canopy is fairly uniform for the most part.
Managed to find a supplier for nutrients thats closer and more consistent than the previous site I was ordering from, crisis was averted there. Fed 25 litres on May 21st, had approximately 5 litres of runoff.
For the most part, I am extremely happy with how this plant is turning out. Everything I work on her, it is a learning experience and I cant wait to apply it to future grows.
May 24:
Right side seemed to be growing a little bit slower, added in an older 220w blurple light to try and help. Added a box fan to increase air circulation in the canopy.
Clipped off a handful of fan leaves that were blocking off bud sites.
June 5:
Fed 30litres today. Pretty happy with how she is turning out, we have another grapegod in a smaller pot that's 30 days ahead of this one and the colas are almost similar in size already. I cant stop staring at the branching, I have been learning a lot doing this scrog and I am very excited to see the end results.
June 9:
Fed 20litres today. Seeing a big difference in growth since I upped the amount of bud candy, big bud and bud factor X by 50%. The smell coming out of the tent is floral and a bit punchy, it smells awesome. The colas are starting to get very sticky to the touch as well, got lots of very good sized, dense tops.
I'm blown away everytime I look at the stalks on this plant, very happy with how things are progressing.
