Medical Perpetual Soil Grow - 20+ Plants

---- April 26 ---- New week. Mondays are good now because of that fact. Anyways. I've "day labeled" the pictures so you can see where each is in the flower perpetual stage. Everything's going well. I expect clones to root in 2 more days. I'll be chucking all of them except 3 hash passion 1 jack herr. I forgot to mention I added 2 new plants to flower Day 50 for the oldest, so I expect harvest in 14-15 days. That will be the Sativa version of it, I expect the Indica (Amber trich) bud harvest to be another 7-14 days afterwards. When I did the indica/sativa on 1 grow last time, the Tropicanna Glookies at day 77 was finally amber enough to produce an indica high. And it was a friggin BANGER. Massive body high, time warping, big sleep. You'll notice I don't use indica or sativa attached to a singular plant. I fully believe and have tested multiple times the cloudy/amber harvest combination and it is very distinct in the high effects. If you want to see why, next time you grow harvest buds in 2 cycles: 80% cloudy, 10-15% clear, 5% amber <--- Sativa Clear conscious talkative potential 80% Amber, 10-15% cloudy, 5% clear <---- Indica Couch lock, time warping, staring into nothingness, body buzz. So I'd say that I use the term indica and sativa in this grow diary for multiple aspects: Growth, look of leaves, and the trichome finish. Each is distinct from each other and a singular plant can have varying aspects of each (Note: I have not grown pure landraces, so can't attest to this pattern being correct for un modified cannabis strains) ---- April 29 ---- So April 27 I harvested some of the farthest back buds (least hit by the HID light) at day 51. This is a Sativa Harvest test. Smoked today (2 days after test nug harvest) for a report: High is Clear, conscious, literally wakes me up and makes me want to get off my butt and do things (HELL YEA! what I was lookin for!) A little weak, still immature. Lasts 15-20 min as a high, the motivation is retained long afterwards (it's been... 2 and a half hours and I still want to do more chores) Smell and taste are not able to be measured due to smoking while buds are basically still wet. (this is a special process I have made to speed up testing bud, I NEVER do this for real weed i smoke) On Friday I will harvest more, test on Saturday, and if the potency is increasing I will plan for Sunday Harvesting HALF the plant for Sativa Trichome smoke. That plant will then be looked at under a 20x and 60x microscope every 3 days until 80% amber is seen. Might pop more photos up today afterwards when pups awake and lights on so I can check on my ladies. Edit - I forgot to add that I tested because I saw on Sunday one of the buds was completely orange haired pistils and was starting some smaller new batches. I start checking once buds near the light have full pistil orange hairs (this does not signify to me that they're ready, more that it's time to start looking for the finish state over next 7-30+ days depending on strain) ---- May 1st ---- Harvested half the plant today. Should be dry in 4 days max for smoke report. Other half of plant will be looked at in 7-10 days for trichome coloration. Sativa Trich combo harvest first plant at Day 55 much earlier than anticipated which is good news for me.
