I was worried that I might have hurt the taproot planting it because it disengaged form the seed shell, but it seems to be coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing how this comes along. Keeping room lights on as much as I can, and using indirect wind movement by bouncing a fan off the wall to strengthen stem.
After adjusting the light, this plant is coming along nicely (I think). Still a little tall, but the stretching seems to have stopped. I've got good hopes for it.
Pleased with how this plant is developing. Its height has been controlled well with the change in bulb, and the leaves look healthy if asymmetrical. Slowly hardening so that I can transplant outside in a week or two.
The plant is maintaining I think... getting more outdoor exposure to prep for transplant. Small leaves starting to grow out of the stems of older leaves... curious to see how this will develop!
Added drainage and high heat has dried soil out effectively. Aphids took a chomp out of the leaves overnight... sprayed the leaves with a soap/oil spray and the damage seems to have ceased.
This plant is really taking off! Its almost ready to top... lower branches forming, stem has thickened fairly well, and the leaves are really starting to bush up.
Still battling the aphids or whatever little insects are eating the leaves. I've slowed it down, but there still seems to be new holes in some of the fresher leaves. FIMmed and defoliated... hope I did it right.
Med Mass is coming along nicely. Still fighting with bugs eating holes in the leaves, but I've been defoliating the damaged ones and spraying to try to contain.
My FIM was a fail, so I topped this again. Some defoliation and things are progressing nicely I think. We've had a lot of rain the past week, so I reduced watering schedule and mainly fertilized.
I've done a little LST with my hands, but not formally on this plant yet. It's still growing strong and tall, and is hopefully about to flower in the next little bit.
This is now one of my most prolific plants! I'm really liking how the LST has developed the canopy, and all the buds that are forming. Just need to keep it away from the barbecue.
This is maybe one of my best looking plants of the bunch! Switched to a bloom booster to my feeding, some light defoliation, but otherwise the buds just keep coming in. Can't wait to see how it all turns out!
Flowers are really developing rapidly now, and thickening up into larger blooms. I think I need to tie this back to support the weight, which is becoming top and front heavy. Love watching this grow and form!
The Medical Mass is developing wonderfully, growing thick buds that have a beautiful aroma of black peppercorn. Almost all of the side branches have been blown horizontal by massive thunderstorms, so I've supported the biggest of them to protect against future wind and rain. This gravitational LST seems to be exposing the buds to lots of sunlight though!
