Lollipopped most of them. Topped several plants twice with great success...IF you try topping autos more than once. Make sure you notice how they're growing from sprout, if you have 1 or more that are vigorous growers. Topp at week 2, then at week 3...Its very rewarding. Slow growers top once or just tie down
I started out with a few RAW products and noticed improvements. I then added more and more and more until I was using their entire product line. This grow is leaping because of it. I use their Grow and Bloom feeding chart and base nutrients to raise my PPM's to 1100-1200. The only product you use 1tsp or more of is the Grow and Bloom. The rest of the products is 1/16, 1/8 or 1/25 tsp. A little goes a long ways. RAW NPK is the highest NPK values available to the public that is 100% water soluble. For example their humic acid is 57%, I invite you to look at the humic percentages on any other brand. its usually 2-16%. The humic combined with kelp and potassium for a root booster is incredible. There are all types of boosting charts (Not feeding charts) on their website. There are flowering boosters, pre flower boosters, mid flower boosters, growth boosters, root boosters, uptake boosters, and more...I'm sold 100%
I noticed I have 4 vigorous growers, these are autos, and I decided to top them twice. I must say I am very happy with the results. Topped at w2 and w3. I don't have a long stem, but tons of fat long branches starting to stack up. IF you have slower growers, top once or tie down. I lollipopped, defoliated anything with 1 node, skinny branches. Skinny branches with 2 nodes if they were near the bottom or lower middle. I left some 2 node limbs if they are on top and getting fat. I defoliated around 10% at a time, then let plants rest 5 days and repeat. AT week 4 I cut nitrogen way down and this helped with preventing new leaves. I use RAW NPK Nitrogen Potassium Phosphorus Calmag, Silica, Vitamin B, OmniA (Vegan Nitrogen) Humic acid and full up.. You can mix this any way you want and make bloom and grow boosters if you use a PPM meter. You have total control of what and how you mix things. Need a root booster, mix one. Need a pre-bloom booster mix it, need a growth booster mix it, the list is endless. NPK has very high NPK ratios. Skip one or 2 feeds between watering or throw in a booster between waterings and a feed. If I'm not boosting I feed, water water feed. Using booster I water, feed, water. 2oz makes 200 gallons. It mixes 100% dissolved in cold or warm water and your plants will leap. The growcraft x3-500 is a monster of a light and really punches deep into the plants. The grow is doing very well, and it really should start stacking in a week or 2.
