Germination
Both germinated within 48 hours. 1 germinated in the first 24 hours, the second germinated the next day. I’m testing two different living soils using Nectar of Gods One-Shot and Hopwood Farms - YT: Illinois Growers Club Organic" Auto-Flower" Super Soil mixed in Bush Doctor‘s Coco Loco.

4/9/2021 There‘s a slight yellowing of the leaves in the plant with the Hopwood Farms Super Soil. I believe this is due to my accidental overwatering. Initially, I left the pots on the ground because I didn‘t know about runoff (first time growing. please don't judge lol). I haven’t added water since 04/05/2021. Both soils still feel lightly damp.

I started adding 1 shot to both plants.I also removed a few leaves to expose the bud sites. When I was LST one plant last week, I accidentally bent the main stem too much and caused it to break. I think this caused the yellowing of the lower leaves as seen in the photos. However, they were removed.

I haven’t been tracking exactly how much I’ve been watering. I usually water until run off. I’ve had to water daily because the coco loco has been drying out quickly. Is the yellowing seen in photos from 4/28 due to underwatering? I’ve been pHing between 6.2-6.4

It's more likely due to being near the top ph limit for flowering mode when you should be at 5.5 to 6.0 for veg in hydroponics or soiless with 5.7 to 5.8 being best in veg. 6.0 to 6.5 in flowering mode for hydroponics or soiless. Cheers

I’ve been keeping them on 18/6. Removed a few fan leaves.

I noticed more trichomes on the leaves and buds. One plant was stretching towards the light and is now taller than the light so I bent its main stem slightly to tie it down.

These are supposed to be GG autos from MSNL, but I don’t remember GG having purple hues. Is this genetics or a phosphorus issue?

This is a bit anecdotal, speculative...but maybe some of it is interesting. Yes, colder temps can make some plants change colour. But then, that's often a sign of sub-optimal conditions. Phosphorus and carbs *can* be useful in those conditions (cellular energy/heat). Like, the closest thing to "material sunlight" is basically phosphorus, internal cellular energy (ATP). That's imo one of the reasons why roots and seeds load up on phosphorus (since they won't get good sunlight). Personally, from my few seasons of outdoor growing (even in winter), I kinda use extra carbs/sugars and phosphorus in winter.

It's not a problem. Some phenotypes can still carry different genes or colder temperatures can bring out the purple hues

I'd look at giving that thing a bit of phosphorus, calcium and sugars tbh. I mean, that discoloration does seem a bit extreme.

Noticed the purple hues come out more with the use of ice on top of the soil.
