Was a dramatic week for the plants. Temps got into the 100s for a solid few days. Plants were very stressed in their pots and pathogens growing in the water. Often when I peeked at the water during the week, it would be warm/hot, slimy, and full of white shedding material I think the roots put off; generally just doesn't look good compared to my winter grow.
Equipment: I discovered that the air stones I bought were too small, inadequate, and the roots and their white shedding would gunk up the stone and prevent bubbles. I think this was the main reason #2 died. Additionally, one of the air lines was pinched on #4 which I think caused its root rot. #1 and #3 were both producing a good number of bubbles. I switched out the airstones for 4: round ones now which produce a lot of bubbles. The hot water temp also lowered oxygen levels causing plant stress. Also the new 4: SOG net is much better than the 6". I might use the 6" for the second net, but the 4" is very very nice. I also bought a GE air conditioner that will keep the air temps down to a goal of 80. The room was 103 the other day lol.
#1 has been strong the whole time. Not one problem yet.
#2 has recovered from root rot and is rebounding nicely now. I don't think it will harm flowering, but I have to make sure it doesn't happen again.
#3 is growing strong since recovering from a poor seedling stage. It wouldn't break free of its seed coating. The leaves on this one are much darker and more round.
#4 is experiencing mild root rot. It had its air line pinched under its bucket for upwards of 5 days by the time I noticed. I think it is partially rotting back, but it is flowering and looks like it is going to bounce back in 5 days or so. Hopefully not the 10 for #2.
Would have doubled in size if you gave nitrogen. I love all plants and these do look nice. These have been in flower 7 weeks they are a tad smaller than my 4 week flower. I use dirt it makes things so much easier. I should pull 7 oz off 1 plant maybe 8
Looks like they bounced back well from the stress in previous weeks. Blue dream is a pleasure to grow. Have you seen much variation between seeds? That is/was my main complaint about ILGMs seeds.
@Ezzjaybruh,yes they've been pretty consistent between seeds for me. Two of the four plants are yellowing up before the others. Other than that, I don't see many differences between the seeds!
Looks like you’re getting consistent in phenos from seed to seed which I def did not experience when I ran their blue dream. These almost look like they’re from clone
