Starting germination today, dampened a paper towel with pH’d water (6.7) and Technaflora’s Thrive Alive B-1 Red. Just waiting for the taproot to pop out then will move her to the humidity dome in a peat pellet.
Germination Day 2 - Checked on her and taproot is just poking out so decided to move her into a peat pellet and into the humidity dome. Will start week 1, day 1 when she pops through the soil.
Day 1 - She’s up and out of the soil and went ahead and moved her into her 3 gallon fabric pot and into the tent. Gave the soil a nice light spray of water and gave her a foliar spray, then put her cover over her to keep the humidity up a bit.
Day 2 - She’s looking great so far so just gave her her daily foliar spray and misted the top layer of soil, then put her cover back on.
Day 5 - She’s looking nice, green and healthy. Not much to really do with her right now but did give her a foliar spray and moistened the top layer of soil. Then put her cover back on and letting her go for now.
Day 8 - Starting week 2 and she’s looking really good. Not much really happening right now, just continuing with the foliar spray and keeping her cover on for the higher humidity right now. I did end up giving her about 100ML of plain pH’d water a couple inches around her stem.
Day 9 - She looks great so far but was getting a bit leggy so added about an inch or so of soil to completely fill the pot up.
Day 12 - She’s looking nice and healthy and growth is looking good so far. Gave her about 200ML’s of water yesterday and gave her a light foliar spray as well.
Day 15 - Starting week 3 and started LST today. She was about 2.7 inches tall and tied her down about an inch and about 1.7 inches now. I’ll continue the training as the lower stuff starts branching out. She also got about 100ML’s of plain pH’d water today.
Day 16 - Well I’m hoping I didn’t kill this girl, I was continuing the LST and took her a little to far and her main stall snapped completely off. I thought about taping her back together, since it’s worked in the past but I’ve never had one snap completely off so I’m hoping that since she’s still pretty young, she’ll recover. On the positive, all her lower stuff is completely opened up to the lights now so time will tell.
Day 17 - She’s actually looking really good after chopping off her main stem on accident. Just kind of waiting for some of the other growth to start stretching and then will start gently tying them down and out.
Day 18 - Growth looks good and doesn’t seem like she’s missed a beat since cutting her main stem during LST. Just waiting for some of her side and lower stuff to get a bit more vertical growth and will start tying them out. I also upped the water intake a bit and gave her about 500ML of plain pH’d water.
Day 21 - The end of another week and she’s looking pretty good considering I screwed up during initial LST but it’s almost like she hasn’t missed a beat. Will be giving her a bit of water tomorrow.
Day 22 - Starting week 4 today and continued the LST and tied out about 4 branches. She’s still hasn’t missed a beat since I broke her main branch. Ended up giving her about a half gallon of plain pH’d water.
Day 23 - Continued with the LST and all looks good after giving her a half gallon of water yesterday.
Day 24 - She’s coming to life now, so did some more LST with her and checked the soil and she’s good on water for another day or two.
Day 25 - Gonna give her a bit of water tomorrow and let her get a little more vertical growth and with tie her back down again.
Day 27 - Gave her a full gallon of plain pH’d water today and continued the LST. She’s starting to come along and getting some nice stretching going on and have some more sites coming up in the middle now too.
Day 28 - Ending week 4 today with a little more LST and a light defoliation of some of the bigger fan leaves in the middle of the plant. She’s starting to shoot out some pistils now so thinking she might get one more plain watering then start bloom nutes.
Day 29 - Starting week 5 today and this girl is blowing up now. Had to tie down and re-tie down everything today. She’s throwing pistils everywhere now so week 6 will probably be her first full week of flower. She should be ready for more water tomorrow so she’ll get some plain water then nutes the next go round.
Day 30 - No more LST today and gonna let her get a good bit of stretching going before doing a little more. She was ready for water today so she got a full gallon of plain water.
Day 31 - Probably did my last round of LST today and just gonna let her grow vertical from here on out, unless some start getting way ahead of the others. Just gonna do what I can to keep everything as even as possible.
Day 35 - The end of week 5 and the end of the veg cycle, tomorrow will start the first full week of flower for this girl. Gave her the first round of bloom nutes yesterday and all looks good today. She’s really starting to blow up now and gonna stop with the LST now just just do some light defoliating here and there.
Day 36 - Starting week 6 and this girl is looking great. Done with LST for the most part as well and just gonna let her go vertical from here on out. I do have some yo-yo hangers in case she starts getting to heavy along the way. She should be ready for some plain water tomorrow.
Day 37 - Still chugging along, nothing much to add today other than giving her a little over a gallon of plain pH’d water today. Looking like she’s starting to stack up and smells pretty funky right now, not strong but still stinky.
Day 38 - She’s still getting a good bit of stretching each day and buds are still stacking nicely. Not much else is happening other than have to re-tuck her leaves everyday.
Day 41 - She’s a bit droopy today but the pot was pretty light so she definitely was ready for water. I gave her a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water and she should be nice and perky soon.
Day 42 - The end of another week and the watering yesterday did the trick and she’s nice and perky again. She’s already close to needing another round of water but she’ll get bloom nutes next time, probably tomorrow or the next day. She’s starting to develop some nice frost now too and her smell is getting stronger. All she needed today was a little leaf tucking.
Day 43 - Starting week 7 today and started it off with a gallon and a half of water and nutes today. She’s starting to drink a full gallon and a half every day and a half to two days. She’s looking great though and starting to frost over and filling in nicely.
Day 44 - Nothing new happening with the girl today, just did a bit of leaf tucking and moved her back into the tent. Looking a little droopy but nothing I’m too worried about right now.
Day 45 - She’s still got a good bit of stretching going on, another inch over the last 24 hours. She’s almost dried up so she’ll need some plain pH’d water tomorrow.
Day 49 - The end of week 7 today and she’s looking and smelling great. Buds are developing nicely and really starting to pack on. She’ll be ready for water and her second round of nutes tomorrow.
Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she got 1.5 gallons of water and nutes pH’d to 6.7. She’s filling in nicely and the smell so far is an orangey sweetness and only getting stronger.
Day 51 - Nothing to speak of today, just some updated pictures and some leaf tucking.
Day 52 - Still chugging along nicely and some spots are starting to get fat and really fill in. Got a little bit of lightening of color and she’s still a ways off from harvesting so thinking about possibly increasing the nutrients next feeding but I’ll see what’s she’s looking like when it’s time. Just did some daily pics and leaf tucking with her today.
Day 53 - All still good and gave her a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water today. She is super frosty already and can’t wait to see this girl when she finishes up. Other than the watering today, I just tucked her leaves up as best I could.
Day 56 - The end of week 8 and gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. Everything is looking good with this one and just been defoliating the dead or dying leaves from her.
Day 57 - Starting week 9 and she does have a little bit of yellowing/fading on some leaves and she’s still a ways off from finishing up but did give her a round of nutes yesterday so hopefully she’ll get what she needs. PH, humidity and temps are all looking good so can only assume she’s just really hungry. Other than that, I’m just continuing to get her leaves tucked as much as possible.
Day 58 - All looks good still, just some updated pictures for the day, she’ll be ready for water tomorrow for sure, she’s almost dried out already.
Day 59 - Gave her about a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water tonight and tucked some leaves. Not much else that I had to do with her today.
Day 63 - The end of another week and she’s looking like shit today. I went on a last minute trip and watered her the night before I left and hoped it would hold her over till I got back but it didn’t. So gave her 2 gallons of water today with 5ML of MagiCal and 80ML’s of Sugardaddy to start her flush.
Day 65 - Into week 10 now and looking like this might be her last week or may just give her one more. I want to flush her once more with the MagiCal and Sugardaddy then one with just plain water so she may get two weeks. Also depends on her trichs, right now it’s mostly milky with a few clear still there and would like to get her around 30% amber before chopping.
Day 66 - Nothing much to speak of today other than I gave her a gallon of water with CaliMag and Sugardaddy and she’ll get one more watering of plain pH’d water before she gets chopped. She’s starting to show a little amber in the trichs now but not quite where I want her.
Day 68 - Looking good and a bit more amber in her so she’s getting pretty close. Gonna give her one more plain watering in another day or so. Then when she dries up, she’s gonna get the axe.
Day 70 - The end of week 10 today and most likely gave her the last drink before she gets chopped, gave her a gallon of plain pH’d water. I’ll check her when she’s dried up and if she doesn’t have the amber trichs I’m looking for, I may let her go a bit longer.
Day 71 - Starting week 11 and this should be her final week, I’m just looking for a little bit more amber to show up in her. Hopefully as she dries out from her last watering, she’ll get to that 30-40%. Her buds are really chunking up and dense as hell too!
Day 72 - And she’s done, she’s gonna get the axe after 48 hours or so of darkness. Haven’t really used the darkness before harvest method before but needed some room in the tent so gonna give it a go. She should be getting chopped on Thursday sometime.
No issues at all with the grow of this girl. She took to LST with no issues but she was definitely a water hog early on in the flowering stage. I’ve got 2 seeds left and depending on the smoke from this girl, I may start another one in the next couple of weeks. Also forgot to get more pictures after she was chopped but she was washed in the three bucket system I saw on YouTube and have been using it the last 4 grows and definitely a smoother and more flavorful smoke. I’ll update in about a week with how she smokes and the final dry weight.
