First 3Point leaves on both plants. Plant in plastic pot is taller and is growing more rapid than the plant in the fabric container. However the first 2 leaves in the plastic pot are curling down.

Der growers, the leaves of the plant in the plastic container are curling down. Do you have any idea why? I read that it might be overwatering or underwatering but i dont think so. You think I should transplant in a fabric container or make more holes in the plastic one?

It has nothing to do with the container, but is just the result of your plant being a little confused about "all this growing thing" it is meant to do. It seems the newest leaves are growing fine, so your plant is now on the path to flowering and the funny leaves are nothing to worry about. If it continues then your plant might be a bit weird and deciding on its future should be left for another week or two. It may be worth planting a replacement in case this plant continues being weird and does not grow properly, which would indicate a "genetic flaw" with this particular seedling. Hope this helps,.......... Organoman.

Used kelp as nutrient supply one time during this week. I am starting to notice some insects-aphids and red spider mites(Tetranychus urticae)- under the leaves. I am thinking to use neem oil as a biological pesticide.

Dear growers, i noticed some aphids and red spider mites under the leaves. I am thinking to use neem oil as a solution. My plants are stage week 3-4. Any thoughts?

Erm yes you can use neem oil that would be a good short term long term though you want to look into predatory insects and the best one for both of those little buggers is pretty little lady birds not only do they look cool af they eat upto 50 mites of aphids per day and live upto 1.5 years with a good food source. They are alot really cheap any garden centre sells them live and you can even order them on the internet live straight to your door and on top of that it does not harm your plant one bit and is fully organic :) Best of luck
