Grizzly Purple Auto !

Just starting week 1 of veg and things a progressing slowly. Especially the 1 with 3 cotyledon! However it is developing a 3 leaf main set as well. Still have in humidity dome and only a very small T5 light on them. Will be moving to tent and main pots in next week or so and put under an ES 300 v2 LED. Should start to pick up quite a bit after that

Will be putting in tent and under a proper light this week. The one with 3 cotyledon leaves is looking very strange and growing very slow. We will see how it goes for both the Grizzly Purple Auto by Blimburn Seeds, as soon as I get them into the tent and some nutes on board !

Finally got them repotted into 3 gallon fabric pots and into the tent under the ES300 ! However, so far I’m not seeing the same type results with this strain that I am with my other. These Grizzly Purple beans are only 5 days younger than the beans in my other diary. Everything has been exactly the same. Same soil, same nutes, same light, same pots, same water , everything! Someone have any ideas ? The one that had 3 cotyledon leaves is really looking sad. I hope they get thru whatever it is that’s going on with them ! End of week 4 and things are picking up a bit, still quite short but starting to stretch! The one that had 3 cotyledon leaves is very squat and bushy. Starting to see a couple of pistils Beginning of week 4 on the grizzly Purple, I’m not sure what stunted the growth on these girls, I started them about 5 days after my other strain but they have been slow to grow compared to the other. The one with three cotyledon leaves has a very strange growth structure and the other one is coming along all be it very slow. They have greened up nice this week and hopefully will start to stretch a little!

Finally starting to come into their own and stretching a little. Looking much better than previous weeks and have started seeing a few pistils ! Really looking forward to how the one with 3 cotyledon will finish out. It has a weird leaf structure compared to the other but is coming on strong in last few days. I may have stunted these a little in the very beginning so I’m giving them special attention and love ! lol

Things are looking much better, starting to flower and stretching a little. Did some defoliation to open up more bud sights. Cranked up the ES 300 to about 85% and will be letting the plant stretch into the light as I am increasing the light intensity a little at a time.

Beginning of week 7 and what a difference 🤩, wow, these have stretched and started flowering like crazy ! Just finished defoliation on both. You can see in a couple of the closeup photos that there is some purple coloration beginning to come thru on the bud sites ! These plants have developed many multi branched nodes and bud sites and have really surprised me by how well they have done. 👏👏👏 to Blimburn for these genetics. I was a little bummed for the first few weeks as they weren’t looking nearly as well as another strain I have going at the same time. However apparently I’m just impatient! lol 😂 aThanks @blimburnseeds

Buds are really swelling and smell has come on strong ! Really shaping up to be nice plants and good looking buds. The trichomes are starting to stack on and hopefully will get better as the buds begin to bulk up here in last few weeks ! But really a beautiful plant and has great structure! Many main colas instead of just a Christmas tree shaped plant with 1 , so far that’s a bonus ! Beginning week 8 and things have come along great. After a slow start I’m really impressed with how these are looking. 1 of the 2 has quite a bit more color starting to appear on some leaves and in the new buds but both are turning into beautiful plants. Not a lot of smell coming from them yet but just starting to notice a few trichomes on some sugar leaves near the highest forming buds. Excited to see how things progress! @blimburm thanks for the genetics! Starting to really get excited about this Grizzly Purple Auto !

Beginning of week 9 and colors are looking very nice and buds are getting denser and bulking up. Trichomes are mostly clear just a small percentage cloudy so she still has a short time to go. All in all I’m very happy with this Grizzly Purple from Blimburn because I’ve put her thru some tough going and she’s held her own throughout! I’ve overwatered, I’ve over fed, I’ve had it too close to the light and you guessed it ! Anyway she’s really looking pretty decent to me for being a first time grower !

The Grizzly Purple Auto from Blimburn seeds is doing incredible. I have two that are very slightly different but both have really stacked on some bud density and weight. As well they are really getting stacked with trichomes! The smell is very sweet. If these taste as well as they look it’s going to be very enjoyable! Hope they make some good medicine. Trichomes are starting to cloud up but no amber yet. Mostly still clear so maybe a week or two to go at the most ! Have started flushing nutes The colors on these plants are amazing! Deep dark purple buds, dark orange pistols and a deep green leaf ! It’s really a beautiful site in person, it just doesn’t come across in photos well enough to do it the justice they deserve! Also added a photo of the stalk, this particular plant was the one that had 3 cotyledon leaves when it sprouted and I didn’t think it was going to make it, however as you can see she’s doing awesome and has like 5 main colas instead of 1 ! It’s crazy how this plant has grown. On about week 5 I had a limb break but just used a plant tie and cinched it up right and it heeled within a week or two. Left it on several weeks longer just for safety sake !

This was day 77 and chopped on day 79, so as soon as drying and trimming are completed I will update with totals and leave more details! Thanks Blimburn Seeds for the amazing seeds to allow this rookie to grow some amazingly beautiful plants and medicine! #blimburnseeds Also wanted to mention about the photo of the stalk, this one had three cotyledon leaves and produced what to me seemed to be 5 main colas. Maybe I’m not counting correctly but no topping or other training was involved ! As you can see there were a couple rookie mistakes of breakage of couple of limbs if you look closely! ☹️

My first experience growing indoors and I don’t think it could have turned out any better. I appreciate all the comment, advice, and support from the community ! This Grizzly Purple Auto from Blimburn Seeds has been a pleasure to grow, it was really pretty much stress free after the first couple weeks and I believe that’s because I started it under a very small T5 (2ft), then switched to my Green Sunshine ES300 ! It took off after this and took all the nutes I could give it based on recommendations from Advanced Nutrients! I used the organic growing method in soil and their iguana grow and bloom products as well as the rest of the OIM product line from Advanced! Thanks Blimburn Seeds! And Advanced Nutrients!
