Day 0 Seeds were germinating according to CropKings instructions. Can't say I am a huge fan. With the low humidity I had to constantly wet them to keep them from drying out. I germinated 3 of each strain. The Trainwreck, and Candycane all germinated. The Early Miss on the other hand had some issues with only 1/3 growing a tap root (I will keep trying for another day or two, but think they are euchred). The soil is mostly 3 parts Promix HP, 1 part Perlite, and 1 part worm castings (I had to add a little more promix near the end as I was running out. As for the setup: Tent: 5x5 Gorilla Grow Tent Light: Kind LED XL1000 Filter: 6" Phresh Fan: 6" Hyperfan, 6" Clipon Nutes: Green Planet Dual Fuel 1+2, Massive, Terpinator, Liquid W-8, Finisher Thats the plan, lets hope all goes well for my first grow. Day 2 We have the first sign of growth! (sorry about the potato quality sprout pics, been a long day). A Trainwreck and a Candy Cane showed their leaves today, they just sprouted barely this morning and came home to this. I did a few things last night, took the LED off its auto-run and went with the recommended 30/10/10 for seedlings. I gave them some water PH'd to 6.5 (I need about 1ml of 85% phosphoric acid for a 5 gal bucket of water. Current temp is hovering at 23-25C, and RH at 45%. One of the Early Miss seeds actually showed a taproot, so shes in a pot. Grand total is 8 plants, 2 showing leaves. Day 3 Temp dropped a little bit, its hovering around 25C in the tent, RH 40-50%. Two more have sprouted up, ( 2 Trainwreck, 1 Candy Cane, 1 Early Miss), and all four have their second set of leaves. I am getting a little worried about the other 4 (possibly over watered, temps dropped too much), The last early miss seed never germed, so trashed it. The light is down to within 4 feet of the canopy, and I turned up the intensity to 40% red, 40% blue, and 20% white light. These first few days are like watching a pot boil, but luckily a big storm knocked over a bunch of trees in my yard as well as shingles off my roof... I will be busy this weekend... Hopefully I can get at least 6 total to grow. Day 5 Another has sprouted and is showing green! The first ones up are around 2" in length, rest are still tiny and nothing is showing its true leaves. I have been playing with turning up the lights slightly as they look to be stretching (I dont know if this is normal or just what sprouts do, but we have had a few cooler nights so I am trying to raise the temp in the tent for now). Im also trying to play with the light to make it less blurple in future photos. Day 6 No pictures today folks! One of the TW has started its first set of true leaves. Both of the CC seem to start off slowly and are staying rather small, maybe 1/4 inch. Temps/RH seem to be holding well (surprising considering the weather we have been having. But on to funner stories! Got my Bluelab EC/ppm meter in today! Once I had it calibrated I decided to test my tap water. It came out to 420ppm, I shit you not... God wants me to grow pot! Unfortunately this is also a little high as I decided to test my ppm with my nutes. Note: this water hasn't been left out to evaporate chlorine or anything. Using the Dual Fuel x Terpinator schedule found here: https://mygreenplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Dual-Fuel-Terp-Feed-Chart.pdf I took 1 Litre of tap water, and added the nutes for week 3 -2ml Dual Fuel 1 and 2 (I dont have Vitathrive, totally forgot it at the grow store despite writing a list.) Well my ppms shot to almost double of the recommended amount of 850pmm. I am really starting to see why many people struggle with Ntox, etc if they dont use a ppm meter and account for what is in the actual water! To combat this I will probably lug 5 gals water from the grocery store until I splurge on an RO system. Maybe even a cheap Brita faucet filter might bring it down? Tell me what you think!

Sorry to hear you have such bad water. Unfortunately those cheap brita filter won't help much. For the amount of plants you plan growing, you are better off looking for an affordable RO System.

Woot, we are on to week 2 and I haven't killed em! Going to start off on day 8 as things have been ultra busy around here. In good news, got my RO system on the way because this 420ppm from the tap is not going to work worth crap. Got my seed orders in today all at the same time so it was bloody Christmas (I honestly don't know what I will do with them all, and think I have a serious problem). Seedbanks were Attitude, JAHseeds, and Vancouver Seed Bank. So for photos we are going to have how cool these Method 7 Operator+ glasses work. I also got the Agent glasses which do not really work with my light but I will keep them for guests. Pictures of the current grow with details to follow. First off, I germed the rest of my seeds to make up for the lack of germing on a bunch of them. Currently 4 Early Miss, 4 Candy Cane, and 3 Trainwreck. Early Miss despite initially giving me a great deal of trouble is making a fast recovery and looking great. They are starting to get their first sets of real leaves. Trainwreck is doing awesome, and in my laziness and wanting 3 of them took my last seed and direct sowed it into a pot. I am keeping it well drenched and fingers crossed everything works out. They are running about 2 inches and got true leaves. Candy Cane has finally popped out but is way behind the others in size (maybe 3/8 inch tall). I have done some light watering as they were getting a little light but am trying not to newbie it and over water them. I am also waiting on the reverse osmosis system. I checked my towns water records and wow... It actually has arsenic it among other things. Day 10, Not much to report here.. everything seems to be growing pretty good. I added some more clipon fans to get some air moving and a gentle breeze on the plants. Today was their first "real" watering. The water had some cal/mag added to it, PH was 6.7, and 500ppm (up because of the cal/mag. Each of the more established plants received about 1.5 L of water, and less for the smaller ones. Some of them are getting their second set of real leaves going. Ill take pics later in the day to see how well they took to their watering. Temp is holding steady at 26.5C and RH just short of 40%. Day 11. Was going to post pics yesterday -sorry- but figured I would wait until I got my Canons transfer cable to take decent pics. Not much going on here, everything grew a little. Experimenting today, up'd the light intensity to 40% reds, 80% blues, 80% whites. I also lowered the light by about 6 inches so I will be watching that today and make a little more complete update later today. Day 13. Could quite possibly be 14, I am getting rather mixed up and could use timestamps on this thing. Alright lets get started! Lots of rain this week which has been pushing temps and humidity up 26-29C, and 54% humidity. That Trainwreck sprouted this morning sometime when I wasn't looking. It hadn't sprouted at 6am when I checked so sometime in the last 3 hours. I am happy about that, I wanted three of each, and now I got them! (Well actually 4 each of the Early Miss, and Candy Cane). As you can see the Trainwrecks are absolutely killing it on growth. In second place we have the Early Miss growing astonishingly well. Lastly, we got the Candy Cane! These gals seem to be a little behind the others but so far looking healthy -maybe they are doing most of the growing underneath the dirt! Everything received a light watering, and guessing with this humidity wont need one again for awhile. The larger plants (Trainwreck and Early Miss), got a light watering with 1/3 strength nutes. I did not want to tempt more than that as that was already 500ppm water. My reverse osmosis system should be in today, so that should alleviate the water issues. I am just gonna stand by and see how they react to the nutes, hopefully well. I am starting to realize I am going to need some supplemental lighting as the light gets closer and the footprint smaller and smaller. I figured with this grow tent build I would stick to the Kind LED theme, and wouldn't you know it they have their bar lights 50% off!! After excitedly throwing some in my shopping cart and checking out they don't ship to Canada -Fuckers! Well that wasn't a problem, my tent came as a package at a screaming deal from LED Tech Store: https://www.ledtechstore.com/ . I have had just awesome dealings with the guy in the past (and he is a Kind LED distributor), so I fired off an email and he is going to throw me another awesome deal. Its really worth talking to him as he will make a package that will suit your needs. Highly recommended. Well thats it for this week, on to week 3! Thanks for following!

Day 17 Alrighty! Rough start week three. Tried my first attempt at FIMing a few days ago, I was super paranoid but it looks like the gals made it through. Had a random heat wave come through and the temperature in my tent shot up to 31C. A few plants suffered from some heat stress and the leaves are curling up. It seems as though the Candy Cane took the brunt of it, and does not like the heat. One Early Miss also suffered, but the others are doing just fine. The next day the temperature shot down to 16C, and the tent returned to 20-25C. My next purchase after my strip lights from the LED Tech Store, is clearly going to be an AC unit (maybe before, bloody Ontario springs can never make up their mind. Been hitting them with 1/2 strength nutes, and probably on the verge of over watering. No signs yet but I know my over ambition noob complex is toeing that line. I am starting to see some issues I am going to run into. Some plants are progressing much faster than others so I am going to try and come up with a management plan for that. My big plants could take more light, but will fry the others -Maybe I will prop them up on something to get them closer. I also attempted FIMing a few days ago, I hope I did it right. Day 20 Another week done. Have not watered since the last update. Tried my hand at some LST on the larger plants and despite being a total newb it seems to have been successful (feel free to comment otherwise). Lots of new tops coming up on my prize Train Wreck. This story is not without woe however. That heat wave really set some plants back. The first one (an Early Miss) seems stunted and the foliage does not look particularly awesome. The last photo (Candy Cane), well I don't know where to start. It stretched like mad, leaves are all curled up, and looks nothing like the other Candy Canes. The new growth seems to be healthy. I tried everything on this girl, reducing the light, giving it a dark period, water, etc. Hopefully they all start bouncing back. I am finding it difficult to juggle lights around the different plants stages. Many seem to want a lot of light, and others seem to want less. Ive moved the leaf curlers to the edge of the tent where they will get less, but to no avail. Anyone got some advice, post in the comments. On to week 4 tomorrow, happy growing!

Day 24 Hello bud growing enthusiast! On to another week and update. I gave them a good load of nutes and they just shot up the past few days! On an awesome note the after adding my nutes and CalMag my PH and ppm was exactly where it was supposed to be. This was extra exciting because the sun was going down and I could barely see what I was doing! What we have here in the way of pics is the before and after what I am thinking is my last chance for LST. It being my first go I did make a little mess out of it and broke a branch on the big Trainwreck -hopefully the tape will keep her alive and going. I am guessing the autoflowers will only veg for about a month, so I am kinda stuck with what it is I think. I am currently using the Kind LED 'natural' 18/6 setting and it seems to be working out quite well. The 24 hour was just making it way too hot in the room and over 30C has not been that uncommon. What are our plans going forward? Well provided everything goes to plan I should be starting to scrog as soon as they bounce back from LST. Tonight or tomorrow I will probably bump up to full strength nutes. Ive transplanted my backups into 1.5 gallon pots. As always feel free to give me your advice and opinions! Chimo!

Day 29 - Well here we go, another beginning of another new week. In the interim some of the plants have started to preflower. Because of this I have adjusted the nutrients for the flowering plants and am feeding those in Veg their regular schedule. The heat has been insane the last week and controlling temp has just been impossible. I have tried to switch to 6hrs off during the hottest time of day. It is supposed to rain for a few days (thanks for your hurricane weather USA). The two last pics, I have no idea what these plants are doing. I would be interested to hear some theories. Plans for this week is pretty much let them grow, tweak some LST and defoliation to get maximum light to the bud sites. Depending on how much they stretch during the preflower this week I might reorganize the tent and get a scrog up. Day 31 - Spent all damn working trying to get my wires running perfect and creating as even of a canopy as I could. Took a lot of leaves off. Ive moved my larger plants to the back of the tent to make it easier to work everything, and get the smaller plants some more light to hopefully take off. They are about to get a good watering. Full nutes for the vegging and flowering ones. Total pain in the ass, my reverse osmosis only holds about 10L of water, and takes a few hours to refill. Gonna make a note to future growers, Eariy Miss does not seem to like alot of water, or nitrogen.
