Day 0 Seeds were germinating according to CropKings instructions. Can't say I am a huge fan. With the low humidity I had to constantly wet them to keep them from drying out. I germinated 3 of each strain. The Trainwreck, and Candycane all germinated. The Early Miss on the other hand had some issues with only 1/3 growing a tap root (I will keep trying for another day or two, but think they are euchred). The soil is mostly 3 parts Promix HP, 1 part Perlite, and 1 part worm castings (I had to add a little more promix near the end as I was running out. As for the setup: Tent: 5x5 Gorilla Grow Tent Light: Kind LED XL1000 Filter: 6" Phresh Fan: 6" Hyperfan, 6" Clipon Nutes: Green Planet Dual Fuel 1+2, Massive, Terpinator, Liquid W-8, Finisher Thats the plan, lets hope all goes well for my first grow. Day 2 We have the first sign of growth! (sorry about the potato quality sprout pics, been a long day). A Trainwreck and a Candy Cane showed their leaves today, they just sprouted barely this morning and came home to this. I did a few things last night, took the LED off its auto-run and went with the recommended 30/10/10 for seedlings. I gave them some water PH'd to 6.5 (I need about 1ml of 85% phosphoric acid for a 5 gal bucket of water. Current temp is hovering at 23-25C, and RH at 45%. One of the Early Miss seeds actually showed a taproot, so shes in a pot. Grand total is 8 plants, 2 showing leaves. Day 3 Temp dropped a little bit, its hovering around 25C in the tent, RH 40-50%. Two more have sprouted up, ( 2 Trainwreck, 1 Candy Cane, 1 Early Miss), and all four have their second set of leaves. I am getting a little worried about the other 4 (possibly over watered, temps dropped too much), The last early miss seed never germed, so trashed it. The light is down to within 4 feet of the canopy, and I turned up the intensity to 40% red, 40% blue, and 20% white light. These first few days are like watching a pot boil, but luckily a big storm knocked over a bunch of trees in my yard as well as shingles off my roof... I will be busy this weekend... Hopefully I can get at least 6 total to grow. Day 5 Another has sprouted and is showing green! The first ones up are around 2" in length, rest are still tiny and nothing is showing its true leaves. I have been playing with turning up the lights slightly as they look to be stretching (I dont know if this is normal or just what sprouts do, but we have had a few cooler nights so I am trying to raise the temp in the tent for now). Im also trying to play with the light to make it less blurple in future photos. Day 6 No pictures today folks! One of the TW has started its first set of true leaves. Both of the CC seem to start off slowly and are staying rather small, maybe 1/4 inch. Temps/RH seem to be holding well (surprising considering the weather we have been having. But on to funner stories! Got my Bluelab EC/ppm meter in today! Once I had it calibrated I decided to test my tap water. It came out to 420ppm, I shit you not... God wants me to grow pot! Unfortunately this is also a little high as I decided to test my ppm with my nutes. Note: this water hasn't been left out to evaporate chlorine or anything. Using the Dual Fuel x Terpinator schedule found here: https://mygreenplanet.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Dual-Fuel-Terp-Feed-Chart.pdf I took 1 Litre of tap water, and added the nutes for week 3 -2ml Dual Fuel 1 and 2 (I dont have Vitathrive, totally forgot it at the grow store despite writing a list.) Well my ppms shot to almost double of the recommended amount of 850pmm. I am really starting to see why many people struggle with Ntox, etc if they dont use a ppm meter and account for what is in the actual water! To combat this I will probably lug 5 gals water from the grocery store until I splurge on an RO system. Maybe even a cheap Brita faucet filter might bring it down? Tell me what you think!

Sorry to hear you have such bad water. Unfortunately those cheap brita filter won't help much. For the amount of plants you plan growing, you are better off looking for an affordable RO System.
