Four feminized seeds from Humboldt Seed Company have sprouted -- Collie Man Kush, a strain bred for the band Slightly Stoopid.
It's been three weeks since germination and they've successfully taken root in one gallon fabric pots filled with Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil.
Started low stress training on all plants and began General Hydroponics Flora Trio for feeding.
Also added Armor Si in addition to other nutrients. They're responding well.
Plants are coming along! One was topped last week and another just FIMd today (I'm experimenting slowly since this is my first grow).
Unfortunately, one plant suffered an accident in which its main stem broke half way to the base. However, its other branches continue to grow nicely.
Added a few more nutrients to the mix. Continued LST and topping, but abandoned my attempt at FIMing. Plants seem to be responding nicely.
Right now, I'm debating whether or not to transplant into larger containers since I expect two more months of outdoor vegetative growth. We'll see.
A lot of growth since the last update! All plants have been transplanted into 20 gallon containers. I've also added Floralicious Plus to the feeding regimen.
Things seem to be going well as we head into the flowering season.
Plants continue to grow nicely. I've noticed the appearance of pests though, particularly leaf hoppers. I've been spraying neem oil to control it.
I expect flowering to start within the next few weeks. But since this is my first grow, I'm not exactly sure when. We'll see!
Plants are starting to show signs of flowering! As such, I've started feeding equal amount nutrients to help with their transition.
I spent the past couple weeks defoliating a bit. It's a very bushy plant and I wanted to clear some foliage to help prevent pests.
Overall, things seems to be progressing very nicely; but this being my first grow, I'm not sure what to expect!
Plants are starting to stretch and buds are beginning to form! We're finally in flowering season!
Everything seems to be coming along nicely; this strain has really given me no issues at all.
Buds continue to develop. Plants look strong and healthy. So far so good, this strain has been very easy to work with.
I've cut ArmorSi and FloraBlend, added KoolBloom to the feeding regimen. Plants have responded nicely.
This is a slow flowering strain, but things are progressing nonetheless. Plants have gracefully taken everything I've thrown at it and have presented no problems thus far.
