The plant has some potential. After 35 days of flower, Platinum Gelato is getting frosty. Starting to see a little purple in the buds. I've had dark, purple-ish buds (GGxWW) and i've seen purple leaves, but these might get pretty in a different way. The pictures are a day behind the notes. Even more frost is noticeable after 24 hours. It is listed as a 65-75 day flower period. It may look fairly bud-like by 42 FD (next week), and guess another ~3 weeks to ripen. Seems accurate enough, and a bit refreshing it errs on the 'other' side of things rather than overpromising and underdelivering. Very much a bushy plant. Axillary growth will happen on its own, but obviously topping or LST will help spread the growth out more evenly. Strong limbs, so i don't expect any need for a trellis, not that i'd ever use those devil's tools! That's why we get natural disasters. Quit upsetting god, damnit! I had 2x Platinum Gelato, but one was developing balls, so i killed it -- Muahaha. He-she won't be nutting all over my other plants. Potassium bicarbonate seems effective against mild WPM. Will likely incorporate some sort of weekly or bi-weekly preventative foliar spray. Still appying mosquito bits. Think i stopped a tad early or just need to to it constantly. It had been about 2 weeks since i saw any. Put some fly traps up and re-applied bits. I tossed in some spare Future #1 clones with this crop, as it is the last of the perpetual grow cycle. While smaller, i expect them to be fairly good yielding plants, surprisingly. They are 1 week behind. Garlic Storm is also in the tent, but not sure if i'll make diaries for these other plants. The notes posted here will likely mention them often. Hopefully, they aren't too much different timeframe regarding bloom periods. Upcoming changes... Re-model is coming up. Taking opportunity to end the perpetual garden logistics. Not knowing a more precise bloom length too often makes it incredibly wasteful - space and/or electricty depending on how you go about adjusting for the unknowns. Also, replacing the wooden boxes with a 4x4 tent and a 3x3 tent. This is a total of 25 sq ft compared to 22.5 sq ft before. Mobility is going to be useful, so the change is necessary. Once new cycle is in motion, all areas bloom plants and power at least some portion of vege, too during a cycle. The vipar led grow light will be used for early seedlings before transplant and any mother plants that exist. Should shave ~3 weeks off production cycle of tents. Not quite 5 harvests per year results, but damn near. Automated watering and drainage is coming, too -- Entails a control box, solenoid vavles, pump relay switch, drainage pumps and fun with PVC. The profit margin some of these companies run is disgustingly grotesque, and they are all little bitches rubbing an exorbitant shipping and handling in our faces too. holy fuck. As someone who understands a good bit about accounting, trust me in saying that they are ripping us off. Hopefully, by the last week of May I'll be back up and running full-bore with improved per sq ft production per year and a hell of a lot less effort from me.

So, i have found some WPM on the garlic storms (left side of bloom box.) Applied H2O2 today. Re-apply before lights out. Continuse twice daily application until end of harvest. Will also apply some potassium bicarbonate occasionally. The latter adds too much "K" to the plant through the stomata, as i can see K-tox symptoms after application. Removed a few leaves, and a couple buds of concern. Only a couple leves off GS2 and majority off of GS1 -- again, this reinforces my feelings about the previous substrate being a potential cuase. Also, added 5-6 fl oz of H2O2 per gallon to the irrigation tanks. Soil and foliage got an application. Good news... the h2o2 drench of buds from the autoflowers seems to have prevented any issues while drying. I even tested a bud after 3 days of 'speed' drying (to reduce risk). It is by far the tastiest and smoothest after 3 days i have every had. The next day i didn't feel inordinate discomfort in lungs, so i think it is okay. Even so, i'll likely put all of that through the rosin press. Bud washing will become the norm for my harvests. I will need to work out a better, more efficient process in the future. I didn't even use distilled or RO water. What i did this time: Hard water (tap) and h2o2 soak for an hour, then dip and rinse in a tap water-only bucket. Will need to read into length of submegence and what is just an e-peen and what is based upon facts of the physical world.

These girls are purdy. <pats self on back several times> -- By far the fostiest thing i've ever grown and putting Garlic Storm to shame, which is the 2nd frostiest plant i've grown, now. Dinafem's Ocean Grown Cookies was my best product before these 2 plants. These are both head and shoulders above that. Believe i found the source of the WPM issues. Been clear for about a week now. "Something" i cleaned or removed was the source. Smell is similar to the Gorilla Blue - which has dj shortberry in lineage. That lavender / blueberry terp? Not super strong, but can tell something is adding a nuance to aroma. I don't expect the end result to be exactly as it is today. Overall, progressing very fast. 8-9 weeks is 99.9% certain at this point. Do see some amber, but not prevalent.

She's doing well. Some say she is frigid, but I prefer the terms frosty and/or crusty. Week 8 of flower is complete. Still waiting on more amber to present itself in trichomes. Last irrigation was a half-dose. The extra purple in leaves is almost certainly temperature related in addition to any genetic tendencies. I turned off the space heater recently, but the nights have gotten cold, again. Soon-to-be upgrades are coming together... about 3/4ths is purchased as weighted by cost. The fun stuff is ordered or delivered - lights, tents, exhaust fans, b-hyve controller, pump relay switch, solenoid manifold etc etc... Found some black interior ducting... why do more companies not do this? The ones marketing toward growers are missing the ball here... sick of spraypainting iinterior (poorly, lol). Black interior, please.. (matte, if possible) ________________________________________ For comparison i posted a picture of some other $20-ish/seed (USD) plants. The less impressive costs even more for international shipping. My lesson from this... don't overpay unless you do a lot of research and find some people that have grown that plant before. For the record, both purchases were a rip-off, but at least one is delivering something beyond ordinary.

62 FD She's getting close. Second diluted irrigation given, so far @1/3 to 1/4 strength each. See some minor fade, so not worried about an abundance of mineral content in the leaves as i'm right on that edge meeting demand of the plant with a low ~1.3EC nute mix. Been slowly dropping N as i have been seeing some darker leaves deep into flower phase. It's taking a long time to buildup, so only dropping a tenth of a gram at a time and will test out on next crop from start to see impact. Think this plant can go any minute. If all stigma fully retract and otherwise dwindle from sight, I'm going to use that as the cue regardless of amber. At this point, it's still drinking a fair amount.

So, she has been cut down after 66 days... I'll add a harvest week when it is dried and some non-wet bud pictures. Until then.. this is all i got. Small tight nugs.. expect some decent weight despite the lack of girth. Dense nugs all the way down to the little buds at bottom. Future #1 is fucking up the program.. just starting to show some plump.. can't let that overlap more than 2 weeks with next crop, or i will run out of space. It's looking like a 12-week flower period as it is nowhere near done..

Guessing this one has a stronger resistance to WPM as it was exposed and never showed signs on leaves like Garlic Storm and Future #1 did in same space... Future #1 is almost certainly weak AF resistance.. it caused a problem at end of summer last year too... possibly the source this time.. fucking dumpster fire pheno, that. Back to Platinum Gelato... Not as tasty as i hoped, but not bad. Unique taste.. hard to put a finger on it - along the lines of incense but not that dirt taste that often accompanies it, so i have some hope this one should taste good, if not exactly what i like. Fairly potent, too. Since it doesn't check all boxes, going with 9/10 on this one. Garlic storm may not be as pretty, but it leaves my fingers stickier and has a great taste (gave that a 10, as it floors me). So, she's pretty, but not a homerun. I would have bet on the opposite for these two strains given pictures only, but that is not the case as they cure. Update, sorry i was quite high earlier.. imagine that.. Yield - Fairly good, but not super dense nugs. Filled 4 32oz mason jars comfortably for cure (~80% full, a good guess). Minimum 1 oz per jar, but likely more. 120g is a conservative estimate. Think i guessed that on gs and it ended up 130-some? I like to under-promise and err toward that end on purpose.

Took my time trimming a nug for a picture. Usually i pull the scraps off before smoking. Saves a shit ton of time and my back and fingers thanks me later. Gotta start next crop ASAP. Will be 6-8 PG/GS again.. top phenos will be inbred... possible crosses will be planned out in future. After the next 6-12 months, i won't need to buy an overpriced seed for many years., cause fuck that greedy shit. Everyone trying to squeeze every penny out of each other while saying shit like, "good vibes" .. it doesn't add up, BWAHAHAHA. Anyone nearby that wants an inhouse genetics cut, i give them away for free. Every sale i prevent of overpriced goods puts a smile on my face. They may have gotten my money, but I will cost them $1000s of dollars in the end. They are not the only ones, but they are the ones i have. I go out of my way for those that engage in such business practices... this is the ugly side of capitalism. The consumer needs to start recognizing that they can shape prices more than they do.... we let these jokers at the top dictate, and they have no power except the average person's laziness and short-sighted behaviours. Numbers won't mean much in a few decades and it'll be stuck this way... a few gods and a bunch of clods.

Totally agree with you mate, everything around Cannabis is a fucking rip off. Some are making big bucks and I mean BIG BUCKS out of this game have a look at some of the profits that the Cookies company makes from just one despensary in just one day it's increadible the company has a net worth of half a billion now I can't believe people buy it. It's fucked for the consumer and even the grower unless you want to grow organic no till style everything is bull shit expensive. Cannabis can be one of the most abundant resources on the planet it can solve nearly all our problems even pollution for this reason it should be low cost but it's still strickly controlled because of fucking money hungry cunts.
the end.
