Hey Now
With the light at the end of the tunnel to my first round Mimosa Evo quickly approaching better start gLOOKing ahead
Adopted some cuttings to try to start clones from. The poor mother just didn't know what to do with so many orphans so I talked my wife into adopting (smuggled into the house) just a few
Funny how the one who keeps warning you that things will snowball is the profacey instigator "what are you going to run next, cant just let the tent sit empty all summer?"
With my tent FULL for another 4-5 weeks these will have to share my bench with the outdoor seedlings under a small light for now (getting pretty crowded ???do i need another tent, light, fans............???)
Kept them well hydrated till i got them home safe and sound. Re cut on 45 angle above a node under H2O, into rooting stimulater. Peat pellets expanded with a pinch of Endomycorrhizal Inoculant.
Trimmed 1/3 of lower 2-3 sets of leaves on half of cuttings (to prevent narcosis ?) then into a covered tray on a wicking mat
Now cross fingers and hope i get 4 viable clones from the 9 I'm starting with, dose this sound like it should work? and i hope the timing works out as well
Thanks for checking them out, any advise or a looks like your on the right track is genuinely appreciated
Cheers

Hey now
Well after a few weeks I think I now have seven viable clones, so I will nurse these along for the next 3 - 4 weeks until the tent is vacant and ready for the GLOOKIES Monsters
Three of the seven have roots sneaking out of there pots already so will have to transplant as I can"t leave them like this for a month
Hey Now
I am so pleased with the progress in the last week, they have really taken off this week, lots of new growth and filling out well, was a little concerned with there progress till now but it helps to look back on the picts from last week and see how far they have come
With the tent still occupied for at least another 2-3 weeks and my outdoor girls still taking up most of the space on my bench under my 200W light at least till next weekend they will have to make do where they are as much as I know they are ready for bigger pots, roots coming through the pots all over
Feeding as last week just increasing little by little and added 15ml : 1 l coconut water and Fish Hydrolysate, with Fulvic Acid
Think I will start a little LST next week
Cheers All
Hey Now
With the weather finally cooperating I was able to make some room for these lovely little Glooks
Will move four of them into 1 gal pots tomorrow and they can have the 200W and table all to themselves for the next few weeks till the Mimosas finish in the tent
They are all looking healthy and showing lots of new growth Will also bump there feeding this week and if time permits a little training should start i think ???
Hey Now
Change of plans
All the Glookies were set free to explore the great outdoors
I am keeping one outside and will keep posting but she went to a hastily picked and prepared home and i don't know if she will be getting enough direct sunlight now.
I will pamper her and we will see how she makes out but no great expectations
All her siblings went to good homes in the great outdoors we will see how she compairs
Cheers
Hey now
She seems to be settling in nicely to her outdoor little garden corner and is OK with just 3hrs of direct morning sun
probably wont use this location again unless she finishes well Sept will tell
Cheers
Hey now
She enjoys basking in the morning sun
Last week i brewed up a batch of Tea and she had a full shower and a deep drench, started another batch today and will continue with a sip and a soak weekly
growing quite vigorously and no signs of any stress she seems quite content
think i will relax on any training with her at all unless she gets a little unruly
Hey now
Coming along nicely, she endured a few very heavy thunder showers over the last week and a few 30 c days
next week looking similar. A spritz and drench with a compost tea
Cheers
Hey Now
She is starting to fill out nicely. Rain or showers nearly every day the last week so not as much sunshine as i would like to see her getting but I am happy with progress. I will cont. with a Tea and a sprinkle of K-mag again this week and hope for a little more sunshine
Cheers
Hey Now
After she was planted i was concerned with the hrs of direct sun but she seems to be doing very well.
Over 1.2m and quite bushy. As a favorite strain I'm hopeful she finishes well.
Weekly Tea (Folier and drench) and a little K Mag topdress
Good thing the yard is fenced, the Deer have been snooping nightly, they taste tested my Sunflowers that were outside the fence that were all 1m tall and just starting to flower. Guess next year will keep them on this side of the fence.
Cheers 😎
Hey Now
I was worried about how much direct sun she would get in this spot but she is turning into a gLookies Monster. Rely filling out and stretching up to soak up as much sun as she can. She's been happy with Comp. Tea and K-mag so she will get the same this week, if it isn't broke ... I was told all her sisters are doing well, will try to get a few picts to compare as she definitely gets more attention and is in a better substrate but prob not as much direct sun.
Cheers 😎
Hey Now
She has surprised me with how well she has persevered with the limited direct sunlight she gets. At over 1.5m and bushing out nicely. More rain the last week but I did water once ~12 l. A foliar and drench w Compost Tea and a second foliar of Marine Phytoplankton, Fish Hydrolysate, Silica Monosilicic Acid, Liquid Kelp, Aloe and Fulvic Acid. Cut back allot of the ground cover and some lower growth that's touching the ground post pictures to help with air circulation. Will continue with the Tea and fingers crossed for good weather.
Cheers 😎

Hey Now
Hot and humid with a few showers but I did have to water twice. She seems to be loving it. Flower development coming along nicely, getting bushy and top heavy. Cont with weekly Tea Party, foliar and drench, she don't look like she needs anything else does she?
Of the 10 Sunflowers the deer enjoyed this little one is still trying !
Cheers 😎

Hey Now
she is getting top heavy, like 36 DDD, got her a little underwire support this weekend before she falls over like her sister, found Pink Kush passed out on the lawn. Got her back upright and buckled her and her siblings up for the rest of the ride. I think I will have to come up with some additional support and soon. Compost Tea, foliar and drench plus ~ 16 l H20 x 2, been Hot Hazy and Humid all week. Stay tuned
Cheers

Hey Now
She is bulking up and quite top heavy, Tied her off to the fence for support before she falls over. ~ 10 l Compost tea drench and another 20 l H2O, Hot Hazy and Humid most of the week but a few heavy showers overnight. ~60 mg K-mag top dress and ~ 60 mg top dress Stepwell Soil Bloom (fish bone meal, dolomitic lime, wollastonite, basalt rock dust, alfalfa meal, gypsum, kelp, blood meal, potash, humic acid) should help to fatten her up.

Hey Now
Late update, busy weekend, Ball Tournament, (yes we won ...... C division but we partied, drank, ate and looked better than any A division team)
She took a little neglect in stride and will have to wait until tomorrow for Tea but she continues to get almost all H2O from mother nature and i made time for top dressing with K-Mag and Stepwell's Flower same as last week. Temps have come down upper 20 days and high teen nights. She got some needed support, putting on substantial weight and is far from finished. Had to tie up a broken limb but didn't break completely off and seems to continue growing just fine.
Cheers 😎

Hey Now
She is coming along but last week we had some heavy rain and she suffered from my lack of experience in not having provided enough support. Lost two large branches wet over 300 grams, tryks look opaque but no amber, will dry and cure anyway and let her finish for a week or so. Cont. with Tea
Cheers 😎

Hey Now
She still looks to be a few weeks out but doing great. She took some damage from the rain so I have a few limbs drying as they broke off ( tryks on them look mostly cloudy so we will see) Skipped the Tea this week as she has had lots of rain. Hope for sunshine and dryer days now to finish.
Cheers 😎

Hey Now
Her number came up and the axe fell
With rain and cooler temps expected i didn't want to tempt fate any longer with any mold issue so she is hanging out with her siblings ~70 % RH @ ~20C with a few fans
will update with a HARVEST page soon
Cheers
