Welcome to the first day of cloning!
Mother plant was 1 of 2 Hash passions. I was reaaaaal lazy let the other die due to lack of water, this one though luckily turned female (they were reg. seeds). Been alive for probably... 3 months.
I fuckin love bubble hash, it's the bees knees. So yea, popped these to see how well they'll make bubble hash.
They will just be growing in my perpetual (There is a Grow Diary for that on my profile you can see with many varieties and 20+ plants).
Once clones root and are planted in pot (half gallon pot) they'll do 3 weeks, transfer to 1 gallon if they're growing well enough, then into flower by 4th or 5th week of veg.
Doing lots of topping, i dont have lots of vertical, but tons of horizontal space.
4 clones sans roots so far.
Why such massive clones? I dunno, felt like it. I want to learn the plant, doing things like this lets me gauge her likes and dislikes.
Next Update is either: If 1 dies, or if 1 shows roots and is transplanted.
Once all 4 are transplanted, veg week will begin and this diary will have regular updates.
For now this diary will only be updated in probably 7-10 days from now. It's more a place-setter for the grow, and since I have time right now, i'll do it before I forget or just get lazy.
---- April 14 ----
And we wait and we wait and we wait and we wait...
And we wait and we wait some moreeeeee.
Anyways. 48 hours no change. don't expect anything for 7-10 total days but here's some pics.
---- April 16 ----
4 days in, no major change for good or bad. Still in transition phase. 3-6 more days before I expect any form of movement of leaves back skyward or growth showing root wise
---- April 19 ----
7 days in they're too wet this morning so out of the dome they go and into the normal veg area to dry off naturally so we don't mold.
I expect roots to show by day 10, but will not rush it and only kill the clones if they rot away or leaves show quickening signs of death.
Currently all 4 are still in limbo without any major structural changes or movements to the stem or leaves.
One aspect to consider is with the peat pellet being so wet for 7 days, the roots might not need to have grow far, but rather just be getting larger in circumference. Why waste nutrients growing further out if foods right there it now. I'd expect the plant to turn back towards the light more if it was done the stem cell root creation portion of cloning, so i'll be looking for this signal in the clones and not just visible roots.
If any of the weepy 3 turn skywards, I know we're only a day or two away from roots showing soon as they deplete the peat pellet centers water supply (they're very very wet ).
IF for some reason the peat pellets fail I'll quickly do them in the rockwool cubes, thats easy as hell, and i'll get back to trying to master peat pellet cloning. But again in my ramble right now, peat pellets just take a bit longer in my opinion so I'm not worried.
Update over , not a new one coming for a couple days. Check perpetual grow diary for new changes until roots show on Hash passion clones.
---- April 24 ----
Started new clones in rockwool cause its a lot easier.
Veg should start soon.
The Hash passion are third from the left .
3 of em.

For anyone keeping tabs on this. God damn stupid plants aren't cloning. I'm guessing temps. Normally they do fine but I do them upstairs where its like 5+ Celsius more... so got a heat mat on them last night before lights off in flower room.
this grow diary isn't done, its just waiting on roots. and I'll keep going till it damn well happens,
Currently at 6ml/l cloneX (consistent amount for rooting) day like 5 or 6 for cubes.. I'm praying for roots in 48 hours.
- May 4 -
1 of 3 hash passions can pick up the rockwool block when i lift it.
The other 2 I dont think will clone, I left them and made 3 new hash passions today.
Week 1 will start soon as the one rooting shows roots at bottom of rockwool. Within 48 hours max i'd wager.

Soooo sloooooooow. But here we go!! white root tip seen on 1 hash passion FINALLY...
next feeding i'm rampin up the cloneX to 8mL a liter to see if that helps. currently at 6.
Wedding cake and Crit + 2.0 are rooted fully, so it also means my seed of hash passion is just harder to clone.
If this does remain true throughout my further testing of cloning of Hash Passion, unless the plant blows me the hell away i'll be chucking the mother plant into the flower chamber without caring about saving genetics cause it's too much of a pain and too slow for my perpetual.
Will still be doing a full run through though, so this Grow Diary will go all the way to harvest, but It most likeyl won't be done over and over again in my perpetual grow due to this cloning hassle.
