Rapid growth over the past few days. Dealing with issues of yellowing on the new growth. Need to figure out a better watering/feeding schedule.
This is my first grow, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Plants are looking good, steady growth. I turned off the bloom switch and kept just the veg lights on. I believe the bloom lights were too strong for the new growth, resulting in the yellowing of the top of the plant.
Day 25, hopefully she will fill out, might try LST, will have to read up on it if its not too late
Day 26, looks like the first sets of white pistils appeared. Possibly pre flower stage
Week 5, steady growth and pistils are popping up everywhere. Hopefully fills out soon during what I read is called the "flowering stretch"
Accidentally made Week 5 a Veg week even though its a week into pre flower
Start of week 6, day 10 of flower. Dont expect to yield much, I blame it on not starting with any nutes in soil. Used Pro Mix HP which I believed wasnt too hot of a medium, but that doesnt matter. Ive had a good time so far, and you gotta be shitty to get better.
Excited to see if she gets bigger and fills out. New growth has been popping up everywhere. Lets see how it goes
Yellowing on lowest sets of leaves. Hoping its from overwatering and not a nute deficiency. Fed today 5/15/21 with extra micro as per the GH autoflower feeding schedule.
Well week 7 is starting off rough, dealing with a nitrogen deficiency, gave some extra grow nutrients for the added nitrogen as recommended by a fellow grower. Hopefully she'll will recover well.
Day 45, spoke to the owner of my local grow shop and he said it looks like nute lockout to him so Im going to give her a big flush in the next few days hopefully that will help her out.
Day 47, gave her a flush and hopefully we will see some positive results in the next week.
Day 50, trichomes are showing up everywhere and the buds are getting fatter everyday. Smells starting to increase.
Only worry is the lowest set of leaves are losing color, must be a deficiency since the flushing. Will be feeding in the next few days when the medium dries out.
Day 51, medium is still too wet to feed again, dont want to drown the roots but the leaf tips are starting to lighten up. Hopefully it dries in the next few days and I can give it some food.
Day 52, leaf tips are really light, not sure if its still suffering from nute lockout. Hopefully the medium dries soon shes due for either a feeding or another flush.
Day 53, both plants got a good feeding. Upped the bloom nutes and hopefully they like it. The yellowing of the leaf tips I learned is them using their nutes so thats good to know. Also there was some white powder on the bag which I read is just salt buildup. Hopefully that doesnt effect the plant.
This past week we got a lot of rain, RH shot up to 80% now the main cola smells almost like must or wet towels. No sign of bud rot or mold. Dehumidifier is in the room now, just curious if the smell is normal for this stage of flower or if Im screwed. Hopefully its fixable.
80% is probably the top end of buds levels but for a short period of time it will probably no effect her much at all she will continue to ripen right up until the end and im pretty sure she will smell alot stronger from her trikes than a musty smell but if you wanna be certain then I would then look around your tent for any little cracks or creviss that any moisture could hide :) Adding more air moving fans will speed up the process :) have a dry down anything that might look moist. Im sure you will be fine looks like you got a few weeks left on her yet anyway :) best of luck anyway pal im sure she will be fine :)
Start of week 9
Day 58, with the help of some fellow growers we figured the musty-ish smell was a terp showing itself. The strength of the smell disappeared when I put a dehumidifier in the room, now its more of a skunky must than a mildew kind of smell. Shes looking great, getting frostier every day. Just gave her a feed at 3/4 strength due to the flush almost 2 weeks ago. Didnt wanna shock her with strong nutes.
Day 59, she seemed to like the last feed at 3/4 strength, getting frostier and thicker everyday. The main cola seems to have a lot of white pistils turning orange. Should have 3 weeks left at the max, so hopefully she will get pretty dense and finish up soon.
Day 60, tips on the top fan leaves are really starting to lighten up and there seems to be a good amount of salt buildup in the medium even with a little run off each feed. Hopefully since theres only about 3 weeks left I can fix it with some flushes.
Day 62, just gave her some water, shes really starting to thicken up and smell great. I have a jewelers magnifier coming in the mail today so Ill start checking trichomes. Should be a few more weeks to fully mature. Shes showing more and more orange hairs on the main cola and the lowers.
Day 63, end of week 9 she has taken very well to the last few waterings/feedings. Swelling up and getting some new colors on her. I just got a magnifier to check the trichomes and a small portion are already looking a little cloudy. Should be atleast another week and a half.
Start of week 10
Day 65, jewelers loupe came in the other day but Ive been having trouble keeping it steady without holding the plant so I cant really tell if the trichomes are clouding up or are still clear. No ambers yet so I can atleast say its not very far into the transition of color change. Most likely will start the final flushing stages in the next week.
Day 67, looking great. About 50% of the plant has orange hairs and the trichomes are slowly turning to a cloudy color. Im going to just give her water from here on out. If the Dutch Passion website is correct its 12 weeks from seed to harvest so in my rookie opinion she might be pretty close but I dont know if there are any bad effects of flushing too early.
Day 68, shes looking great, every bud now has orange hairs. Ive tried my best to tell the amount of cloudy trichomes but I dont have the best magnifier. So I plan to start the flushing stage when I start seeing amber trichomes. Gave her a good watering today with a little runoff. Very excited to see how she ends up.
Day 69, shes looking great! Shouldnt be much longer, I give her another 2 weeks hopefully. Managed to finally make out the trichomes and Id say shes at 85% cloudy. Hopefully she'll start throwing out some ambers and I can start the flushing sequence.
Day 70, shes looking great. At about 85% cloudy trichomes, still no ambers yet. The buds have been getting thicker and denser. The lowers have some catching up to do, so Ill research how to harvest her by sections if shes not fully matured by the time the main cola is ready. Nothing but waterings from here on out.
Start of week 11
Day 71, everything seems to be going great. Trichomes are clouding up and Im waiting to see some ambers so I can start the flush. Not sure what the brownish buildup is on the sides of the fabric pot. Hopefully its the myco or something in the soil. I know there is salt buildup. Other than that she is looking awesome. Orange hairs everywhere and she seems to really be thickening up.
Day 72, just gave her a large watering, wouldnt really consider it a flush, just a good amount of runoff. Almost 100% cloudy trichomes, havent noticed any ambers yet. The cola seems to be getting pretty mature, the lower buds still have some catching up to do but they are getting orange hairs. Some of the leaves look like they are fading so Im going to take that as a good sign that she is using her nutes. Shes not very dense, I blame that on a nute burn earlier in flower so I flushed and lowered the amount of nutes for the following feeds. Oh well, rookie mistakes.
Day 73, not going so good. My other plant thought what I had was a phosphorus deficiency so I flushed it with extra bloom nutes and now seemingly over night the Glueberry now has some of the same damage and symptoms. Is it a pest or did I screw up? Also could it be from not having nutes in a while? Cause she doesnt have much longer left till harvest.
Day 74, screwed up yesterday. What I thought was pest damage or a bad deficiency turns out to just be natural fading from the final weeks of just water. We are at about 85 to 90% cloudy trichomes and I noticed some ambers. She should be on track to finish up in the next week and a half. Very fucking excited!
Day 75, fading more and more. Every bud now has orange hairs and cloudy trichomes. Only issue is I will need to build a box to dry it in since my 2nd plant is still growing.
Day 77, last day of week 11. Shes fading very quickly, she will be getting a large flush tomorrow. Smells killer, sticky and frosty as hell. Cant wait to try it. Got a drying box made cause I have a 2nd plant still growing in the tent. Excited as hell!
Growing it was easier than I thought it would be, atleast for a rookie like myself. Ran into a nitrogen deficiency but it all worked out. Very small yield but Im proud of it being my first time growing. She produced some fire buds. Headband effects that melt into a full body high. Perfect for chilling out and watching a movie, or if you like to smoke before bed.
Just like every body else I wish it produced more but Im very happy with the final product. I sampled a lower bud after a few days of drying and it definitely did the trick. I have 2 more seeds that I am very excited to grow, and I now know what to do and what not to do. Dutch Passion has Grade A genetics, highly recommended, and Im excited to see what the other 2 seeds will produce! Today (6/30/21) will be the first day in jars and Im hyped on what the nugs will be like after curing!

Some salt build up on the pots is normal that's what happens as the runoff pulls it out when you water . Things look good in your pics probably just keep doing what you have been. Good rule of thumb is water twice for every feed another words just plain water twice then water with nutes.
@Inganjawetrust, well I did notice what looks to be salt buildup on the fabric pot, could the burnt tips be a nute lock? And should I go ahead and flush or should I continue with the normal feeding schedule which would be a feed in 2 days? Hope you dont mind me asking all these questions lol
What an exiting time when buds are forming themselves. Although it is an auto I would say that you need another 5 weeks from harvest, this means you should be getting a fairly good yield ;-)

@TheNewGuy94,thanks mate. Yes you will get a good yield I am pretty sure. I have a little experience growing weed, but I have a good experience from other plants and veggies ;-) I am actually thinking about going towards a new job within the culture or permaculture I ideally.
@Celticweed, I am just letting her do her thing. Going to harvest when shes ready! Good to hear from someone with experience saying itll be a good yield! Im super excited!
