AnneJ a few months back suggested I grow this strain outdoors in one of her diaries. I put the seed in a glass of water for 2 hrs and popped it into a solo cup with the jiffy mix. She popped up in a couple of days. Her first breath was on Monday this week. She has been outside 4-6 hrs each day. I have her on a 15/9 schedule so she won't miss a beat when she is outdoors full time. That will be in the next few weeks. Please come again!
So it's midday of day 7. This girl is gold.... she is loving the half days outdoors and the 9 hrs of sleep she is getting. Glad I went with this light schedule. Can't wait to see the growth for this up coming week! Thanks for stopping in... all comments are welcome good and bad. Please come again!
So the second week has come and gone. Weather was awesome first half of the week then turned to shit. I still keep her outside for 6 hrs. I dug her a hole decided I will plant her in the ground. The area sucks its hard clay. Put a bunch of mountain rocks at the bottom of the hole and covered with a couple inches of sand. Watered so there are no air pockets.
I mixed up the potting soil, compost&worm castings, coco, clay, mountain rock, sand, perlite,Gaia Green 4-4-4,Gaia Green alfalfa meal,Gaia Green rock dust, steer manure and some of my homemade compost. Layered over the sand half way up and watered so it was wet. Filled the rest of the hole and watered again so it was wet. Then I put a layer of coco on top.
The plan is to leave her in the cup for the night and transplant tomorrow in her forever home. Thanks for stopping in all comments good and bad are welcome. Please come again!
So this week I put her in the ground. She has a 10x10 tent over her so she doesn't get punished from the rain. I also have a little spearmint plant beside her to keep the bad bugs away. When she gets stronger I might remove the tent and give her a real taste of living in the great outdoors.

The weather has been cold and wet this past week. She has a stretch to her. I gave her a topping a few days back. The weather will be sunshine this coming week so I took the top off the tent. I also started the LST and tied her down. She seems to be doing good for these cooler temps 60f day & 40f nights.

So we are on day 35. We just had a 5min hailstorm roll through. There is some damage on some of the foliage. Looks like bullet holes! This past week we had mostly sun and a few overcast days. Last week I topped her and bent her back to the North. Lets see how she recovers from the damage she took today.

This is day 42! Last week a short hail storm blew through. She had damage on her fan leaves. The plant didn't miss a beat. The fan leaves on this plant are huge. Today I cut off 6 some almost the size of a baseball glove! This girl is going to be thick! I have still kept her 1ft in size. Weather this week has been cool and wet.

Sunny and hot today! Weather was mixed all week with a little bit of everything. This is day 49 and this girl just keeps chugging along. I haven't done a thing with her all week. She is one thick leafy gal.

Late afternoon of day 56. This is one stocky little bitch right now! She is a tank! I might have to man handle her into submission. The weather was all over the place this week. Looks like rain for this up coming week. All good though, rather have it now than in flower.

Yes this is day 63 of this weed. Weather is all over the place but she is loving it. 100% trooper Looks like nothing is going to stop her! I know better! We will see if she can handle the Vancouver weather in flower.

Day 70 has come and gone. The weather changed the second half of the week. It was sunny and warm! This plant is turning into a beast! Healthy as fuck. Bugs will land on her but wont take a chomp out of her. She is so far 100% bug resistant. Gave her some water yesterday maybe a gallon.

Week 15 close to 40 days here with no rain. Looking like there is no rain in the next week also. This girl is 6ft tall. She is healthy as fuck. I want to clone her but way to busy

Weather this summer has been awesome so far. There has been a few hot weeks in the high 30s lower 40s. She took it like a boss! Looks like we might get some rain this week. That is a good thing for now, been around 47 days with no rain here. This girl is over 6ft tall right now. Thinking she could bust through 12ft by harvest.

So I did some defoliation this week on the bush. We got some rain this week which was well needed. Looks like there is another heat wave coming the 3rd this year that this girl will have to deal with. Going to hit the 40s again! August 21 is when we hit 14hrs of daylight around here,so in the next couple of weeks she should start to flower.

Week 18 in the books. There has been smoke and ash a few days this week. Had to rinse her off with a hose one day to get the ash off from the fires in BC. This baby is 8ft tall and will hit 14 hrs of light in 3 days. Should start the flower cycle on her.

So we are at the end of week 19. The daylight is now under 14 hrs so she is in the start of flower for the last 4 days. The weather was mixed this week with some rain and cooler temps. Gave her a top dressing of Gaia Green 2-8-4 this past week.

The top of the tent is up as of yesterday. I will block off the north opening along the back fence this week. I will also get a roll of pallet stretch wrap and wrap the south side of the tent for driving rain coming in. If i don't do that i might go with some 6 mil poly. I have two fans on the north side for air movement.

Week 22 today. I still haven't put up any poly because of the wind. It has been real windy 50-70km with lots of rain. Need a few weeks of good weather but looks like it won't be anytime soon.
The pictures were took in the morning at the end of week 23. I have gone over the plant and there has been no rot or mildew issues. The weather has been all over the place, with most days raining. I have been letting this plant self prune itself.

So i had a few issues this week. Spotted a few places with rot. I cut the area out and sprayed the wound with 3% hydrogen peroxide. That seemed to stop the spread in that area. We had lots of rain this week with a wind storm that snapped a branch. This branch was one of the best on the plant. It was almost like a different strain. It was like a graft on the plant. I taped up the wound and she grows on. She still has no white powdery mildew,so at least i don't have to battle that issue.

So this plant has just finished week 7 of flower. The strain has a 8-9 week flower period. The weather has been crap, but as i write this she will get 2 days of sun😎. She has had a few issues as i posted in the previous week. She is in the final stages of her life, let's hope she gets better weather for the next week or 2.

Well the rain is hitting hard so it's time to harvest. These pictures are just before the chop. Very happy with the way she turned out just wish i had sunny days not the 10 days of rain at the end of her life. I will grow a different stain in the same spot next year.
All comments welcome good and bad. Please come again next year!
Grow went great! No smoke report yet. Buds are in jars for the next 6-8 weeks to let them cure out a bit. I doubt i will do a smoke report because i don't smoke weed.
This strain is awesome! You all seen this bitch grow into a kick ass bush! Nothing bad i can say about this strain or the genetics of Sonoma seeds. If you want to grow a monster this strain is for you! Thanks for all that stopped in and Please stop in next year when i grow a different strain in the same spot.

@DoctorGreenThumb, bahahaha, "icon" . Internet points are fake:) Will be watching this one. Cheers to Anne for spreading the love across the North. This is what I love most about this site, the gifts between growmies
@DoctorGreenThumb, I had not a clue, but good to know! I read of a foliar spray utilizing garlic, but I read you can only use it during Veg on account of the smell. Not sure I would foliar spray during flower, but if I did I think I'm going the mint route now, specifically. Thanks for the info, as I'm looking into vermiculture and I would prefer organic pest control.
@DoctorGreenThumb, does it do anything for the soil? I can't really do an outdoor grow where I currently live, but I'm always looking to learn about beneficial crops. I've heard marigold can be useful as well? Happy growing btw, lol
Hey man nice lady you have their….. was just wondering cause I have 6 Acapulco girls from Sonoma in a green house right now, 2 of them have lots of pistils and are full in flowering, the other 4 aren’t showing any pistils and all the signs are showing their female, just wondering if your plant has lots of pistils yet.
I'm impressed with this beautiful girl who is 16 weeks into her vegetative stage. I can't imagine how much it will yield in beautiful flowers.
congratulations on the beautiful work
