So kong seems to be well an enjoying the new pot. Auto genes still not kicked in but i have found 1 leaf with what looked like mosaic virus but has repaired. I did however find a leaf growing another leaf from the center where you get the leaf bud mutation

Leaves growing out of the center of the leaves where you see the leaf bud mutation anyone else experienced this?

Yep, quite "normal", cannabis can do all sorts of strange things like this, as well as growing buds on leaves, growing buds on leaf stems, multiple leaves from a single point, self topping of branches, three node branches on only a single branch of the entire plant, etc, etc. If you are keen, I have posted a few pictures of abnormalities in my diary "cannabis conundrums", in week 7. They are quite fascinating and may give you an idea as to what "normal" is for cannabis. All these freaky mutations are not a problem, the plant will grow and flower as usual, with no loss of yield or potency, just a bit of "individual expression" going on. I would have loved to have seen your leaf out of a leaf in pictures. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Kong has slowed in growth but is still almost 7ft. She may also be pot bound due to 35LT pot. I will preform an emergency and very careful repotting today to a 50LT. Fingers crossed Repotted and happy, so much so kong is now in flower 👌

Wowza she’s a beast. The sooner you repot her the happier she’ll be! Not too much to worry about- though I’m sure it will still be difficult based on her size. If you will be allowing her to flower naturally- I’m sure it will work in your favor. She’ll just need a bit of time to settle into her new home before she begins her flower.🌱

I don't know what kind of organic pesticide you have used but almost ever synthetic pyrethroids work well. Of course you are no longer in time to use them. Stay relaxed, cut down and wash the buds before drying to eliminate the bastards. Cheers

So here is a new fun one. So i thought the webbing on a couple of buds where spider mites….. turns out i was very wrong. Luckily im not squeamish so dove in and opened the bud cluster to clean off the webbing and low and behold little tiny caterpillar. Will a fine net stop this?

Yeah a net should do you justice - try not to go for one that is too dense though, you dont want it to start acting like a shade on the plant. For caterpillars, they are more seasonal, left unchecked they can do damage but with vigilance can be taken care of with tweezers and a bucket of water but at some point soon theu will stop appearing as it is getting later in the season.

Best way to deal with Budworm ?? unfortunately, damaged most of the buds on Kong fishing out the Budworms a lot of the pestles are now turning if not already turned brown. I didn't squeeze them but had to pry them open to remove the pests. 20 yesterday 5 today thinking of BT?

Here again. Luckily this run I've found only two of these worms. If U don't have an invasion the only way to fight them is "manual fight". Two ways: preventive fight consists of checking the buds one by one waiting fight consists to remove the worm and its sticky nest once U recognise the death sugar leaves (this symptom is equal to first sign of bud rot). PS In your future runs consider to use a pyrethroid until the beginning of flowering such as Deltamethryn, broad spectrum pesticide. It will protect plants up to 20 days after the last application. This pesticide is the most used in agriculture and is considered to be the safest for health (how can a poison be safe for health?) and for the plant itself.

Kong was an absolute trooper I have to cut her a few weeks early due to budworm causing bud rot. I will be trimming her down washing after removing infected areas. I hope i can save some of the fruits. After 6 hours i have 750g of flower washed and drying. Any buds that where on the same stem as the bud rot have been placed at the bottom of the drying wrack just in case the peroxide doesn’t work

Can anyone tell me if this a healthy root system or was the 50ltr pot to small? Also is that discolouration the start of root rot?

Perfectly healthy root system with no root rot at all and is exactly what I would expect to see in my pots after harvest. Root rot will have mushy roots. 50 litre pots are a great size, only growing directly in the ground will allow unimpeded growth. Congratulations on asking the question, most people quickly lose interest once they harvest their plants and I thought I was the only one to bother with checking the root system after harvest and have been doing so for 25+ years, just to gauge how the plants coped with the pot sizes I have used/tried. Cheers, Organoman.
