Starting my second batch. This will consist of three strains (Sweet nurse Auto CBD - Sweet seeds, Purple punch Auto - 42FastBuds, and Banana Kush Auto - Seedsman) and will be grown both indoors and outdoors. The result - six diaries (hopefully 😀).
This one is for the outdoor grow of Sweet Nurse CBD Auto strain from Sweet seeds.
The packaging contained 3 + 1 seeds and I will divide that to two plants indoors and two plants outdoors.
Germination procedure is the same as with my first batch - paper towel method - i.e. water mixed with liquid seaweed.
I will move the girls outside when weather permits which I think will be in the first two weeks of May. Until then they will of course first have to germinate, and after that they will stay as seedlings as well as first few weeks of germination in my veg room. They will have 2x25W FL light with temperature held at about 25C.
The seed bank doesn't provide any detailed genetics on this strain only that is is a cross between unknown CBD strain and unknown ruderalis 😍.
The strain is CBD rich with THC:CBD ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 (5 - 10% THC and 10 - 16% CBD).
It is Indica dominant strain apparently producing bushy plant with large main cola and plenty of small buds on side branches. It should be fast taking only 9 weeks from germination to harvest. It should also be relatively small reaching between 60 and 110cm.
I don't know the success rate of my germination but when I do, I will let you know.
Update: The seeds took a day to crack their shells and today I transferred them to a pot (1l) for the seedling stage. The soil mixture was as I stated above and they will get their nuts from the RQS Easy Bloom tablets. I added a little bit of bat guano to the mixture and some root powder. I love it when the seeds crack 😍. Will update when things evolve further.
Update: day 5 - one of my girls, No.2 brought her head above the soil. She developed two nice round leaves. I am eagerly awaiting her sister's coming
Too much watering. Did that mistake too. Just a few water then let the soil dry before watering again. But right now it's too late for them ;) Better not waste your time... start another culture ;)
@Ben2332, Hi Ben, thanks for the advice. I haven't been watering her since she was re-potted a good week ago when I watered her (and her sisters) thoroughly, And although I have sent the other one to the bin, I am still sticking with this one. She produces fresh leaves, so I still have hope., Thanks again
