Pretreated the hydroton with R.O. water, Rapidstart and Mycorrhizal. Planted the seedlings just deep enough in the hydroton where the bottom of the rockwool barely reaches the water level. Set light at 36 inches and reduced power until I measured under 10,000 lux at plant. Set the humidistat to 65%, heat @ 70 F. I'm targeting a leaf VPD of .5 at first with a gradual increase to 1.0 over the next two weeks. Set the circulating pump's interval timer for 1 minute on, 5 hours off. Exhaust fan limits are 79F and 76%
*second internode just visible
*leaf temperature is about 2 degrees cooler than air temperature
* 5.8 PH 260ppm
4-29 I realized the seedlings were placed too deep in the hydroton. (The Leaves looked a bit like they were flooded, rockwool was soaked. Bigtime no-no) so I raised them and I added 1tsp Floragro to 10 gallon reservoir PH=6.5 PPM=290 -hopefully, I didn't break any baby roots.
4-30 Found PH at 6.5 = lowered it to 5.8 3rd internode visible (12 days) ppm=300 leaf temp is 2 degrees lower than air temp extended time between water interval to 8 hours (trying to get roots to grow out of the net pot)
