happygrass 4/19 - Potted directly into 7-gallon pots with coco. Gave it about 1 cup of water through a turkey baster then covered it with a clear plastic container.
4/22 - Getting impatient and paranoid that the seed is no good. Dug it up and she has sprouted but, she's taking her time. Hopefully, she'll break through the coco soon. God save the queen!
Very new to growing and even newer to autoflowers. Any suggestions on getting some good branching? The seller says: Flowering Time: 55-65 days. Do I start counting from the start of veg or when I notice it starting to flower?
When the seedling breaks the soil you can start counting. Keep in mind they estimate 65 days , but be prepared for it to take a week or 2 longer if conditions aren't optimal . Also depends how much training you do. LST is recommended for autos to bush them out and keep the canopy level and improved yield. Theres plenty of tutorials out there.
I find 35 days my autos will veg for then they will flower for another 40 to 50 days. But that's with a lot of training and defoliation . Some will be done sooner. Hope this helps π±π
happygrass Day 5 - for the Cookie Wreck Auto and she's finally poked through the coco.
It looks healthy but smaller than I thought it would be.
I covered it back up with its plastic container to retain high humidity and protect the seedling and this vulnerable stage.
Day 6 - The Cookie Wreck Auto has outgrown its plastic dome. I uncovered it and it's swaying in the wind with the big girls.

happygrass This week, I transplanted the girls right back into the pots they were in but deeper as they were growing a little lanky. I fed with nutrients pH'ed to 6.0. Now all there is to do it wait.

happygrass She's responding well to her training and her topping and has been growing at a pretty rapid rate. I had to LST one of the new shoots already.

happygrass I've been LSTing her and she's taken very well to it. She's filling out nicely and has extra branching developing. I top-dressed her with 1 tsp. of mycorrhizae to encourage more root growth.

happygrass She's taken really well to her LST and it filling out and developing although growing time seems to be a little long for and auto but, it's probably built into its genetics.

happygrass Been tying her down every week or so. She's spurting with growth and branching. She seems like she'll have lots of flowering sites. Can't wait to see her flower and fill up. Been concerned that the seeds may have been mislabeled and that it's actually a photo. Might try flipping to 12/12 to see if I can induce flowering.

happygrass She's bushing up and spitting branches everywhere in every direction. It's hard to train her as she's really become a wreck like her name suggests. She likes the earthworm castings and liquid kelp and will hopefully soon be flipped into flower. I've only done some minor LST'ing to tie down new growth.
