One is smaller than the other two , preflower pistils sighted , growing very fast ... the little sick one I had kept keeping the soil moist and it came back to life a bit , and transplanted to 1gallon on day 28
Moved the lights closer a bit , and put them on different risers to try and even out the tops ... and tucking leaves where I can to get the lowers to train upward
Day 30 gave compost tea , and switched two of their places so I could reach in over the smallest one instead of the tallest one so I could have more access without removing plants
Upped watering a bit to around half a gallon or three solo cups per large plant and half a solo cup for the one gallon every other day basically
Been growing like crazy been trying to tuck leaves where I can ... lots of good bud site development .. will try to slowly thin out the bushy areas and the underneath in the coming weeks slowly and over a few light pruning sessions
Definitely have had humidity spike over 60 on a few rainy days ,
Bought a dehumidifier and it helped a ton .. but it’s still upper mid fifties after watering so I’ve decided gonna thin them out a little bit and do a lollipop and some strategic light upper defoliation just to uncover some of the buds in the bushy parts
Still watering three solo cups per large and half a solo cup on the small , things are crowded but exciting
Lightly removing some leaves from lower , started with 10-12 per plant , gonna wait a few days and hit em again .. would like to lollipop them , and remove a couple more light blocking leaves next time .
The little zombie one is 8 inches tall now and has pistils and a couple bud sites so that’s neat and unexpected but it’s shoved in the corner ,...( shut up Meg )
While trimming a few leaves off I smelled my fingers and it smells like super sweet candy like sweet tarts or nerds or pixie sticks like pure sugar candy cocaine
Day 44 I adjusted and swapped the risers they are on , and got them all 12” from the light (except the little one which is like 16 inches away)
Day 46 my homie came over and I asked him to trim the plants how he would do it if they were his , he has grown the strain before in the same soil , and so he went to town and heavily removed a ton more leaves , learned a few things from watching how he does it , he said things are lookin good and they are done stretching and with as small as the tent is it’s wise to do for airflow and humidity,
So now they are lookin pretty thinned out but think it’s gonna benefit the yield
Just gonna stick to water only from here on out assuming there’s only a few weeks left , seen some other diaries end week 9 or 10 ..
Will continue to post a picture for the group each day and like a close look at each one individually at the end of the week
The smallest one is now 14 inches tall lol I have no idea... update 17 inches now
Day 53 trimmed up the interior of front left because it was just a tangled mess of stacked leaves but got some space and light now
Day 54 made a ghetto dry box so I could dry a couple if they need to be cut earlier than others
Just watering from here on out
Not a lot of new developments just watering every other day , and making sure the environment is as close to correct as I can , around 72 f and 50rh , lots of air flow
Day 63 , I took about 40 more leaves on front left , it was just really messy in there ... and about 5-10 of the rest ,
Back right has a branch that cannot support it’s nugget , it just wants to fall over so I guess that’s cool too
Well just planned on watering every other day til they finish I’ve seen some harvests in diaries in week 9-10 , but mine done look quite there yet ... I used a loupe to see the trichromes and they all look pretty clear to me in the buds still so I’ll just keep the environment right and water til it’s time
Front right , zombie plant in the 1 gallon has started showing many yellow leaves with brown spotting , all over the plant ..
Not sure really what it is or what to do so I’m just gonna see what it does I guess
The other 3 just waiting to see some amber
Took pics day 64 of close up of the tops , seeing mostly milky / cloudy but no amber trichromes yet on the nugs yet
Day 70 examined buds again still didn’t see any amber trichs so I’m waiting a bit longer
Week 11 , day 71 front right is showing severe calcium / magnesium deficiency ,
This should be the final week for the other 3 ... and maybe front right too if it keeps eating itself at this rate
Day 78 , first day of week 12 I chopped and hung two , then got antsy and chopped the other two shortly after
No way to really weigh the wet branches cause I couldn’t fit them on my small digital scales that go up to 112 gms ... so I will have a dry weight when they are done drying and add it all up
Update:
Hung them in the tent for 13 days was 71f and 55-60rh the whole time , skinny stems snapped .. so I trimmed and weighed
Grand total 135.3 grams or 4.83 ounces dry
There’s a few decent dense buds from the mains , but most of it is really airy
I believe if I had a stronger light they would’ve been denser , but not too bad for a first go
Tastes and smells like sugary candy and familiar kush flavor .. took a couple smaller larf stems to sample and was impressed
I am now curing it in jars ,
And i ran out of jar space so some is in Turkey bags inside Tupperware ..
it is what it is , thought I had more jars
Anyways I’m happy
Gonna wait til dry is over to update this section , in a few weeks
After trimming and jarring , I’m happy , felt like I learned a lot and ended up with a bunch of good weed to smoke
Lots of area to improve ... might upgrade my light situation but wanted to hold off on buying more stuff til I get a few runs under my belt and learn how to do the basics right
Couldn’t get a wet weight due to not having a clue how to go about doing that
But will update with dry harvest weight after trim (with pics)
