SamDo Hi,,, Starting a new cycle. I'm going to use seeds from Royal Queen Seeds, the Northernlight auto. For germination, I chose to use a mix of perlite (75%) and vermiculite (25%). This will make it easier to introduce the young plants into the aeroponic growing system. I filled the small cloning greenhouse with my perlite/vermiculite mix, which I thoroughly moistened with a solution made up only of a root stimulator (Hesi Root) for now. I also set up a heating mat to maintain a temperature of 25 degrees in the mini greenhouse. For lighting, I'm currently using a 54w LED lamp, just until they germinate. That's it for now, I'll give an update once the seeds have germinated. Happy grow...😎 Update: I started germination on the 21st at the end of the day, the first one popped up by the end of the day on the 23rd, the others started to appear yesterday (24th), and they all came out nicely this morning (25th), which gives us just under 4 days between germination and sprouting, which seems fine to me. So far, a beautiful 100% success rate for germination with the Northern Light Auto from Royal Queen Seeds!! 🔥🔥🔥 As for the substrate (perlite/vermiculite), it seems to be working well for now. The moisture retention is excellent. This helps maintain optimal humidity in the clone. We'll see how the plants react in the coming days, as they start to develop their first roots. The substrate temperature is still at 25 degrees. This seems suitable for germination. Next update at the end of the first week of growth. Happy grow...😎

SamDo Hi,,,, End of the 1st week. I think I can say that I completely messed up my seed start. 😔 I think I must have messed up the substrate's humidity or the nutrients. Too bad. So, I decided to transplant them into the mini aero greenhouse with suitable nutrition. We'll see if they regain vigor in the coming days. That's it for this week. Happy grow... 😎

SamDo Hello, end of week 2. I had to make a decision. Since I completely messed up the start of the young sprouts, I preferred to get rid of the ones that were really the least developed. So I kept just one. I'm finally going to put it in the ground. Since it's an autoflowering, I won't be able to make up for my delay. I think I'll put it in the ground this week outdoors. I'm a bit disappointed, but that's part of the learning process...🤷🏽‍♂️😅 That's it for this week... Happy grow...😎
