One of them had a bit of a fucked up cotyledon at birth and it's affected the growth rate. It's the smallest seedling. If it doesn't pick up the pace I'll either kill it or stick it outside somewhere 🌱
I have learned with autos that sometimes it's better to cut your losses especially if they get stunted early 👨🌾
I am less worried about the smaller one being a runt now. It's catching up quite well. I think there are a couple of phenos of this strain, large sativa and smaller indica - maybe that's what I have going on here 🕵️♂️🏻
Time will tell!
It might be a bit early to tell yet but I think there are two phenotypes here. My prediction is that two will become decent sized plants and one will stay smaller / indica structure. Let's find out! 🤓
LST commences in next two or three days 🌱
They look very healthy but are showing different responses to LST 🤔
I'm assuming the smaller one is going to turn out to be "Indica" structure and perhaps I shouldn't have tied it down.. time will tell ⏳
Top dressed D21 with Living soils Auto grow and Auto bloom, ready for the flower stretch that's rapidly approaching 🌼
It's becoming apparent that I used too much dry amendments 🙈
I followed the schedule published by living soils but they clearly want you to buy/use more than you need 👎🏼
Too much N has caused them to stunt and I've also been having MG issues too. Treated with Epsom salt 🌱
They're definitely going to yeild small but I hopefully it will at least be high quality 😭
Edit:
I think I've got an excess calcium problem and it's locking out MG and FE in some or all of my plants.
This is because I treated MG deficiency with cal-mag, not realising that the extra calcium would cause problems.
I now have Epsom salts and the plants are bouncing back to varying degrees.
Lesson learned the hard way!
The glue gelatos are suffering from excess N which also came from the cal-mag supplement.
Two of them stretched a little bit despite being stunted!
The buds are starting to stack on now and they stink of gelato terps 🔥 they are the strongest smelling in the tent.
Learned my cal-mag lesson the hard way but it's cool cause my next run is already looking a lot better than this one 🙏🏻
They're fattening and frosting up 💪🏻
Sorry for lack of updates I just kind of lost my enthusiasm for these plants when they got stunted.
The quality looks great it's just such a small quantity😩
I learned an important lesson though and my next round looks a lot better!
