I have discovered that Euphoria is most likely going to be the finicky one😬
Mostly, the plants have been under the grow lights on the heat mat all week, but we did get a nice 60F day on 5/2 so they stayed out and drank up the sun for most of the day. Unfortunately a couple of the Euphorias got a little heat stressed and the leaves turned up a bit. They next day I gave them their first feeding of the Alaska Fish Fertilizer which is a 5-1-1 so it's perfect for vegetative growth. In hindsight, I probably should have waited another day for them to recover from the heat stress, but since the other 2 strains seemed fine I figured they would come out of it no problem. Couple that with me making the fertilizer 2x as strong as the recommended feeding guidelines because I wasn't paying attention, and they got a little more stressed than they should have, and that's completely on me.
However, what isn't on me is what the cat did. Or maybe it is. But if you knew this cat😼...I don't affectionately call her Satan for nothing. Apparently, the smell of the fish fertilizer was very enticing for the Coon and she decided to open the door to the room where I have my grow rack setup for the cannabis seedlings and microgreens. The thing is, I heard her open the door, and when I went up to investigate I found her paw in the Euphoria twins seedlings😡
Now, the two babies are not completely wrecked, but between the heat stress, overfeeding and my $h!the@d 😸 I don't know if they'll make it. I'm too embarrassed to post a photo of it. Hopefuly next week I'll have a better report.
@Mrs_Larimar I sincerely believe the world would be a better place if everyone had access to Cannabis🙌
But some M*th#rf^ck@rs just want to watch the world burn😩
sometimes it is like that..... yeah, and you still can make some clones....
Idont waant to bother you itss just that i love thhat strain so much^^... happy growing and llots of fun in the Garden
@Mrs_Larimar, Yes. Thank you🙏 Early seedlings indoors is an area that I definitely could improve on. But now I'm just thankful that they're out in the fresh air and sunshine, where they should be😎
i would give all more soil and no more nutes ( and no more heatmat.....)
to dry, to concentrated etc,,,,,,
transplant the lil wreckers and maybe they do fine
crossing fingers🙏
@Mrs_Larimar, I waited to transplant because I worried it would be added stress.
Kept them on the heatmat but lowered the setting because it's too cold in my 1840's house (around 10C) to go without.
Unfortunately when the cat was in there she snapped the stems, I didn't realize until after I updated last week, so I lost those ones😾
At least I still have one.
Euforia is one of my favs, whenever I’m in doubt I go back to her 😊
Getting two plants out of one seed is a normal mutation. As far as I know you can separate them and you will have two plants.
Happy growing ☀️
