I think you have 4-6 weeks left for both. In nearly every strain, you want the pistils to redden and start to curl back inward. When 90% of them have done this, you are in the early harvest window. Grab a magnifying glass and check the trichomes. You're probably less than 50% cloudy. Clear trichomes contain THC-A which is absolutely useless. Don't harvest too early, your buds could double in size before they're ripe (and more than that in potency)!

I did do it once, but I think it is counter productive, the lower buds did ripen up alot more, but the yield was small, the buds were small and airy/fluffy and it took another 4 weeks or so.... So a better option is to prune as much of the lowers off as you can before flowering them

It all depends on the plant and the flush if she had not been flushed properly or for atleast 5 days for me then I wont touch her but if she has had enough flush and the buds on the top are getting fresh growth and fresh hairs I will usually wait until the new growth matures abit before chopping her. I will usually do it all in one go but it depends on the maturity of the buds in the under canopy. if they are not mature and need light I will do a partial harvest it just makes sense to give the lower buds time to mature just like the main colas and they cant do that without good light :) Though its your plant bro you do what you want :) Happy growing :)
