After starting the plants in rockwool (bad idea) I placed them into red solo cups with Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil.
This was NOT a good idea, I know that now. This soil is too hot for seedlings and I had some bad info on how to start them.
If this doesn't prove them in a NOOB idk what does haha.
6 days later:
Transplanted them into 5 gallon fabric pots.
Started to Low Stress Train.
I could have waited, I should have.
Again, soil is too hot for them in this stage, the PPM outflow was around 4000ppm so yeah, definitely started burn them early.😅
There is another strain in these photos, but I'm only logging one for this diary.
I defoliated leaves that I thought were dead, clearly I messed this up bad.
Stunted growth even more, like an idiot.
I have learned a lot from messing up this bad.
watering them, just seeing how I can fix there issues.
I increased my PH because the soil was lowering it soo much. Would water it with 8-> outflow would be 4-5ph
So I was having a LOT of problems.
spread the plants out
PPM is lowering slowly, around high 2 thousands at this point.
Starting to learn a lot about cannabis growing in general.
Its hard for me to look back and see what I did, but we all learn :)
I didn't keep a log on the plants numbers and its hard for me to look at each photo and remember what there number was.
Next grow I'm going to do a much better job logging into Grow Diaries.
I defoliated this week, they are now relatively healthy and could go through some stress,
my PH is still going down due to soil and Im actually watering with a 3gallon watering pump and its causing issues with balancing the PH throughout the whole container.
Just watering them casually, they definitely have some damage from the pain I put them through.
No nurturance yet bc the soil is still so damn hot.
outflow PPM was around 1600 now
Didn't have many photos this week because I was really busy.
But I decided to flip because they where the healthiest they have ever been and where getting massive so I slipped them!
no major issues, not many photos .
Sorry im busy haha.
Everything is looking good, I decided to feed them a little bit because the soil was really running out of nurturance.
starting to really get there.
Because this is my first grow I don't really know if these are budding to fast or too slow. Compared to my other strain that hasn't been growing very much, it seems like they are growing very fast.
Hopefully I can keep them healthy, There was a minor light stress happening causing the leaves to curl down, so I raised the lights and moved my dehumidifier out of the tent (Was getting to around 85 degrees in there)
Started seeing yellowing on the top fan leaves due to light stress.
- I backed the lights off and added more calmag into my feed.
- once it was correcting I lowered lights back down
Calmag is used during photosynthesize so before I resolved to permanently less light I increased the calmag intake.
(top colas are around 60k Lux)
Bud Size has doubled honestly, and some color is coming on one of my 4 plants.
PS: if anyone comments on my putting rockwool in my soil, I know... super noob. This my FIRST grow EVER so let me have my moments please haha 😅
