She put in another 22cm worth of growth this week ending at 88cm. Plenty of young buds to be seen all over the branches as well as the main cola developing.
New to the site so starting a diary a bit late, next one will be from seed!
This is my first grow in a tent and under light butit all seems to be coming along nicely, she's tall and bushy with the smell just starting to become apparent this week.
Really starting to notice the frosting extending out along some of the larger older leaves as well as the coating on the sugar leaves and buds. Not much growth upwards thankfully, I was running out of height in the tent! Hopefully she's now concentrating on fattening those buds! Really starting to notice the smell getting stronger and find myself looking forward to that first smoke - these are definitely the longest weeks but I'm sure the wait will be worth it.
Growth has all but stopped but buds are fattening and frosting nicely. Removed the old and tired fan leaves to increase air movement and all seems well.
Going on holiday for a week tomorrow, so while the light schedule, temperature and humidity are automatic she's going to have to go a week without water!! I figure this could promote a push in bud growth or an increase in resin, but could equally send her into shut down and what I've got so far will be it. I'm interested to find out what will happen. Whatever it is she's on plain water when I get back.
The big difference this week was no water or nutes due to being on holiday, and it was going to go one of two ways... thankfully it seems to have gone well although overall harvest might be reduced?! Buds are fattening and even more glistening with trichomes, pistils are starting to brown and reflex and the smell has become fruity. Some trichomes are milky but none amber yet so I'll keep a close eye over this week, I'm sure she won't be long now.
This is a week late but there was no change in what I was doing and although glistening her trichomes were still a bit on the clear side. Some side branches are starting to bend under the bud weight!! 👍
Started slow, but might have been me/conditions! Week 4 started and so did growth, and really went fast for 4 weeks (20-30cm/week!) Slow to finish taking 2 weeks more than I thought, but again could have been me/conditions... 2 extra flushing weeks though so let's hope the smoke is crystal clear!
Got 1.5oz in total.
A lovely sweet creamy smoke with a prolonged head high before settling into a nice stone. Lovely balanced effects and great flavour I'll definitely be growing this one again and again. Cheers @Fast_Buds 👍
