ParanoidGuy * Monday:
Starting a new seed in a simple root riot
* Friday:
I already have a little sprout! The tap root is out of the cube so I transplanted to the DWC bucket today.
So far, no signs of the white slime, everything is white clear like on my first grow. I did throw away the old air-stone and I also replaced the airline just to be sure.
On top of that, I cleaned my buckets with soap and a new sponge. I also boiled my clay pebbles to make sure they don't have any pathogen, they are all brand new.
I think I will start adding beneficial bacteria next week. Just to make sure everything stays healthy !
* Sunday:
The plant looks very good ! BUT the water is completely white again. I don't understand why ???
The pH is rising again to 9.7... I didn't even put nutrients in the solution...
The solution was made without benies! I'll try to put some next time and see if it changes something.

ParanoidGuy * Wednesday:
The little seedling looks great ! I had to change the solution one more time yesterday because it was cloudy again and the ph was raising.
Now I think this is not even related to a bacterial infection. It must come from my ph down but why ??? The anti limestone action maybe ? Idk !
I ordered some good old ph down that always worked for me, it should arrive next Monday !
In the meantime I run my DWC without pH down to see if the water gets white again or not. I suspect it wont !
* Thursday:
I already received my good old pH min by Plagron with a new ph meter :). The plant spent 3 days in simple tap water and still look okay.
I just calibrated the meter and prepared a new solution with optimal pH and nutrients. Everything should get back on track now !
When I opened the bucket, the water was still crystal clear and I already have little roots showing up in the bottom of the net-pot.
I didn't use any bennies because I think I won't need them.

ParanoidGuy * Monday
No signs of white solution nor root rot 🙏.
The roots are looking amazingly white and long.
So far so good.
* Monday evening
I see a little brown spot on one of the roots. So I add some bactors13 to the soup !
* Tuesday
The water is all dark because of the bacteria.
I see that the roots are getting a little brown, I read online that it's okay with bennies... So I am praying right now 🙏.
The plants looks okay though.
* Wednesday
The plant looks good, still making plenty of roots. But the leaves are a little bit wavy.
I just topped the plant right after I took the picture.
* Thursday
I was checking my reservoir, the bennies are doing a great job.
The roots are long and beautiful, dipping in a very dark soup! No more signs of the brown spots.
The plant is still growing nicely even though I topped it yesterday, I can already see some new little side branches starting.
Another thing I noticed today, the bennies help a lot in keeping my pH stable in the reservoir.
Before I used to see a pH raise of 0.5-0.6 overnight. Now with the bennies I get barely a 0.1 increase :)
TNC BactorrS13 is a great stuff !
* Firday
Autopilot mode. Nothing to do for one week almost, pH rock stable.
I guess that's how it should be :D
* Saturday
Nothing special. The plant looks amazing.
* Sunday
Everything is looking good.

SHE GROWS !
I changed the reservoir, and decided to use a new formula: Lucas Formula with Maxibloom only (AKA KISS formula).
I see some people not recommending to switch nutrient during the grow cycle, but I always do that specific switch: Flora trio for the first 2-3 weeks of growth then switch to MaxiBloom.
I also decided add a pinch of bacteria, just to keep those roots safe 😀
* Tuesday
The pH is slowly raising, it is at 5.9pH. No correction today because I like to let it rise a little more before that.
It seems like I missed my topping because I see something growing between the main stems !
* Wednesday
The plant don't look good, I think I see some clawing so I decide to add tap water to the reservoir. Getting back from 1.3EC to 1.
* Friday
The plant is recovering slowly from the nutrient burn.
Something is weird though, I pH my reservoir @5.8 Wednesday after refill and it dropped to 5.5.
I see lots of side branches growth !
I decided to pinch & bend some branches today.

ParanoidGuy This week, I made lighter solutions because the whole plant looked burned last week.
I think it is recovering now. I see some nice white roots in the solutions. Lots of them !
Also did some LST to try to expose more tops.
