To Hermie or not to Hermie ??? ;)))

Day 8. 5 girls are out, replanted others. Was not expecting this stepback, thinking to put like 9 more in 5 days if second wave failes again. Never had such bad rate with any bought seed ... But experiment is for answers, not for result, still will have to have bad rate in mind, if i ever try to replicate this. Day 11. Girls got first feed, i know that some are only showing up, but i want to see whats happens if you apply it so early. From second wave 5 more girls are stepping out, more than i need. Will transfer all survivors in 2-3 weeks outdoors. Happy Growing !!!

Day 16. All 12 girls are out. Two are very weak, one can't make proper tap root, always washes out after watering, but has already showing 3rd set of leaves ;))) second is just weak after some overwatering personal issue ;))) One more week and they go out ! I would keep them two more, but pot too small not only for them, but for Exotic Seeds run too and those will be transplanted next week, no space left in the tent for Hermie project. Hope rabbits won't eat them ;))) Day 20. Girls are stretching up and first 5 will go to outdoor site tomorrow. Happy Growing !

Day 23. Girls got first full feed, hope to take them outdoors next week. Small pots start to show Cal issues and a bit of overwatering. Too small pots, always some run off stays and moist roots too long. Ordered new fences from rabbits and plan to prepare new spot on tuesday and plant out at least first waves 5 girls this thursday. Root juice is out. Loosers /aka SecondWavers corner is bouncing back too, so maybe ill pop all in one go ;) We have heavy rains, still cold nights, but looks like spring finally came to UK and frosty nights went back to Siberia ;))) Time to start outdoors season ! Day 41. Girls finally outdoors !!! Theirs pain with small pots, transplanting, artificial sun, indoor, greenhouse ... all that mess is over. Hope to visit and water them during weekend. All got Great White sprinkle on roots, holes were enriched with Bat Guano , Epsom salt, Worm Humus, got light BioBizz feed and i hope to see no hermie ;)) Result is not important at all, will try to visit them as rare as possible ... Day 44. Girls settled in and i see grow progress, hope to visit them in two weeks, we will have rain next week, so watering sorted ! ;) Happy Growing !

Day 50. They need water asap, but for 3 weeks we have clouds and light showers, so ill leave them to mother nature ... Happy Growing !

Day 56. Girls are almost asleep and f@ckingly nice for HERMIE ;)))) Rubbed soil for better air, many slug pallets and out for two weeks now. Will be fun to see them then ! Happy Growing !

Day 67. They grow ! Will need to install bamboo sticks for support, but they grow huge and very nice at the moment ! Mother nature does all the work. So next visit just for installing sticks and anti slug pallets. Happy Growing !

Day 72. Slug pallets applied, bamboos instaled , ground cleared from other weeds and all left to Mother Nature again ;) Girls are very healthy, don't check strains even, love all of them ! Hope not a lot hermies comes out .... Happy Growing !

Day 78. I do nothing to them , just checking , applying slug pallets and forgetting till next come. We will have heatwave and i work all those days, maybe i will water them next monday .... No other plans ;))) Night 81. Each girl got 10 liters of water, but in such heat wave they would eat all 30 i guess. 5 more days off +30 and then thunderstorms... hope i won't need to do it again, very tricky path and to bring two buckets 4x times and leave no trail - mission impossible ! Made night shoot, but they all look amazing !!! Happy Growing !

Day 85. Heat wave in UK and i had to water them twice last week. All looks very nice and healthy, thinking to top dress them at the end of the week, when rains will start. Happy Growing !

Day 92. Girl is at 170-180 cm height already ;))) Need to buy longer bamboos, tied to the highest place and hope for no hurricanes ;)))) Think to visit now in couple weeks, they have food, UK weather back to rainy side, so i don't need to do anything ;) Day 96. We had ridiculous hurricane, went to check are all girls ok and they ARE ;))) Last visit for 2 weeks 4sure ! Happy Growing !

Day 113. Girls are ok, lanky, i haven't lolitoped them, buts its one of my targets. I dont want big bus, how stupid it wouldnt sound, but if HERMIE part is ok , i dont want to give bud rot easy chance ... Its unavoidable in UK, but i bet a lot on my strategy ;)) They need water a lot, fed them a bit with bat guano, epsom salt and Great White. In an hour rain started, so everything happened on right time ! Still no signs of flowering yet ... Have visited my friends garden and all 3 RQS Royal Cookies + RQS Royal Cookies looks so much better , because of stronger wind and better light, just my friend made few mistakes. Still all alive and going strong ! Happy Growing !!!

Day 120. Girls taller than me , I think one is closer to 220cm ;)))) All healthy, a bit thursty and hungry, but I plan to top dress them only after holidays at the end of September. Think there is stream going under my cliff and that saves me from watering. So in reality except couple top dressings and watering during planting out - zero work done with them. Girls stink, but you can't smell them 50 meters away, so I am safe for now .... Happy Growing !!!

Day 126. Girls are thursty !!!! But it's a trend of all of all summer, I don't want to invest any time except documentation of process. They miss feed a bit too, but soil is dry and I will postpone last feed till I am back from holidays.... No updates next week, let's see colas then !!!! Happy Growing !!!

Day 145. They are HUNGRY !!! One is a goner, this Thursday is clearing day. Bigger fan leaves which were consumed - will clear better air circulation .... Pink colour for all strawberry crosses .... 7 girls will stay and 4 are pink !!! Hope weather will love me .... NO HERMIES TOO !!!!! Happy growing

Day 148. Girls got light feed from bat guano tea and a bit of Epsom salt. All dead leaves, worthless bottom branches clear out, think it was my last work for them. Brought 60 liters of water, that's only third watering in all grow time - not bad !!! Always hard not to make homegrow from guerilla ;))) One plant is all covered in bird shit, think it's a goner too ... Happy Growing !!!

Day 155. BUD ROT !!!!!!!!! And million questions what to do .... I have next window only in 11 days, so in 60 min I will be on the spot and will decide what to do ... Plan A - clean all infected areas , by cutting all branch. Disinfect with spirit and apply BioBizz Leaf Coat. Plan B - just chop ALL and bubble hash shit. It's two weeks at least too early. If I'll find more than five infections - they go down !! If I'll chop them I'll update diary, if no - I will come after two weeks straight before chop. Happy Growing !!!

Day 159. First girl is down, very early, but she was heavily damaged and there was no other way.... At least the rest of the plants have more space and air ! After 11 days the rest is falling, what will be eaten by bud rot - will be, I don't mind ! Happy Growing !!!

Day 162. One more girl chopped, so it's 2 X Incredible Bulks, 2x Gorillas and one Cookie, wich went crazy colours ... I'll give them all time till frost and then harvest. No HERMIES seen in left strains, no bud rot too, hope UK weather will give me couple weeks... Happy Growing !

Day 169. Visited my friends garden and his Royal Cookies + RQS RC looks amazing, stil packing , despite cold air in UK. My forest Hermie project goes to the end, hopefully next Wednesday and Thursday I will chop them down. Happy Growing !

Day 172. Some strains ended up frosty, smelly and nuggy, so I already have 76 g from first Strawberry, rest should bring some buds too, couple plants will go untrimmed to my friends as presents, one was already given away ... Think I will have like 300 g easy, and my friends got same amount as presents. Not a bad project, with loads of issues, happily almost no care was given or needed, so I count it as a result achieved : 1. I know that Hermie is bringing other hermies. 2. UK weather is only for autos, that lesson should be learnt long time ago, but I still hope to find mold resilient strain... No updates or other strain harvests will be done, have no time to play ...
