Turned up the new SF7000 from 25% to 35% at the beginning of this week to make up for a temperature drop. Was too hot for some of the girls and scorched some of the initial fan leaves. Diagnosed this within 12h and mitigated further damage by turning the light back down to 25%. It's notable that the Los Vegas Lemon Skunk x End Game #5 by Ethos showed no negative effects from the increase in light power.

Hey everyone, first grow with the SpiderFarmer SF7000 and was wondering what your dimmer setting is for seedlings/veg/flower? I scorched some of my early veg plants going from ~25% to ~35% at 24". Seems to be dialed in now but I'm wondering what to expect for mid-late veg/Flower?

Hello, I run a sf7000 in a 4x4 tent and I start it at 35" (inches) high at 50% watching for any stretch if they stretch I drop the light to 30"... once they have two sets of real leaves (not counting the cody leaves smooth ones) I put it at 30" allow them to grow up to 25" then start increasing intensity. I keep a watt meter on the light so I know what is happening the dimmer is not accurate. Once plants grow to the light 25" I go up to 450w +-75% and maintain that until about a week or so from the switch to flower that's when I go to full power staying at 25" if they stay happy I start lowering it to between 16 n 20" watching the plants closely some won't want that much light put those in the corners where the light has less intensity if you have a short plant put it right in the middle where the light has most intensity.... these numbers are average sometimes plants don't like the light (indicas) some will want more (sativas) as you learn to read them you can play with the light power n distance you want to give the plants as much light as they will take in the beginning so when you get to flower they're not sensitive to the bright light imo higher power and more distance is better than turning down the power, they get sensitive, the sun doesn't dim and plants grow outside fine

Erm for a plant of that size I would have it at 30 percent max depending on your hanging height obviously. until she got abit bigger with seedlings I usually set mine at 50% for the first week then full power but I have a much smaller light than this that i use for seedlings now for flowering I use A GN light and I wont use that on seedlings as it slows them down too intense. I have never used syderfarmer yet. but I have experience with the same kind of LEDs in my other lights from mars hydro and Vipar spectra. I would say around 30% with a light as powerful as yours my if you keep experimenting with hanging heights and the adjustable wattage your bound to find the sweet spot eventually for every stage :) So best of luck for that day my friend im sure its just round the corner with the right equipment and know how you can create a beautiful garden :)

I did very little this week besides a light watering. The Frozen Fuel phenos are heavy drinkers and are needing to be watered more often than the 10th Planet and Los Vegas Lemon Skunk x End Game #5. The FF's are also starting to give off an odor, which is pretty crazy this early in the game. Last day of the week the girls were transplanted into 3gal pots of GG Living soil amended with GG Worm Castings, 444, Kelp Meal, Basalt Rock Dust, Mykes Mycorrhiza. Soil PH was low, around 5.6 (likely because of the Basalt). Watered with PH of 7 and will continue watering with water PH'd at 7 until the soil ph levels off at 6.5.

Been fighting ph this week. Medium pH was around 5.5, watering in at 8 would bring up the pH temporarily but would return to 5.5 24h after watering. Both Frozen Fuel phenos and the Los Vegas Lemon Skunk x End Game #5 are showing signs of deficentlys due to pH lockout. Flushed medium and top dressed with dolomite lime. Ph is now resting at 6.0 to 6.3. Hopefully the plants will recover nicely over the coming week. I Will be waiting for the medium to dry up then will top-dress plants with 444/248 and dolomite lime to start off week 5.

Plants are recovering, but still showing signs of deficiency. This was expected as I flushed the medium last week and added dolomite lime to correct the ph levels. Now that the medium has sufficiently dried I can top dress with 444/248 and dolomite lime and replenish the flushed soil with fresh amendments. After amending I did a light defoliation to expose bud sites and remove dying leaves. Will be toping this week once a full recoverys is made.

Transplanted to 5gal fabric pots, and flipped to flower this week. One plant is showing signs of magnesium deficiency. Fed cal-mag at 50% strength. Will continue feeding cal-mag till the symptoms are gone.
