Plant growing long. 7 days in and only first 2 real leaves in. Hopefully the rest will appear soon. Not using any nutrients yet. Planning on using Flora Trio. Purchased a growing lamp which will arrive on Friday. Currently only getting natural sunlight in the window silk (Irish).

Is there anything else I can do to make the true leaves come out or do I just have to be patient? It is literally at the window silk at the moment. No lamps used. It only has the 2 true leaves from when it popped out of the ground last week.

Ahh I have grew 3 generations of this pheno and one thing I can tell you is she aint slow lol. I grew the seeds then I grew 1st gen clones then 2nd gen clones outdoors. It's probably a mixture of thing my friend too much nutrients in the soil slowering her down too much water they don't need much at this stage the list goes on and on but as the grower has stated its most likely the seedling is just trying hard to fill the root space and create a nice root system. Plants can only grow as tall as their roots :) Just give her time and she will defo repay you in full :) If you wanna check out the diaries I did they are on here :) Peace out bro and best of luck for a happy harvest :) Plus for soil growth that looks about right for one week if you were using a hydro system or dwc then maybe it could grow abit quicker but I think your doing great as is the best thing to have in this game is patience you will find most of the time plants will never finish in the breeders time frame but most people know this lol :)

Week 2. Finally second pair if leaves grew. I started feeding the smallest amount of nutrients but I have no measure spoons yet so im trying to feed as tiny as possible (added with a syringe) in a liter of water. Mixed all 3 Flora Trio together in 1 liter and mixed 0.6 liter with a tiny drop of calmag extra. I added a 90w full spectrum lamp that is on about 12 hours a day. And only fed the plant twice this week. I feed it a few hundred ml of the water mix with nutrients and let if run through the soil, and drain the waste. I am not sure if i’m giving too much water or too less and if it’s too much nutrients or too less... any tips or advice is very welcome as it’s my first time round!

Like neo has said this lady is reaching for the light try moving the light down the around 30cm above the plant that should stop that take a look at my black sugar diary im in the same week with her I will only feed her if i have fed seedlings before and it has gone well usually i wont feed until about the 3rd node just incase i give her too much of something and stunt her though if yous et your nutrients at around an ec of 0.5 you should be okay. Best of luck shes healthy anyway which can be tricky for this stage but her health is all that matters well done bro keep up the great work. I ran 3 genorations of this pheno so check out my diaries if you wanna see how I did with the COP :)

Week 3 has gone by and i’m finally seeing some growth in the plant! Unfortunately I can not see the roots, it seems to go well on the top. I added a 1000w full spectrum lamp which is on for 16-18 hours a day. Added a little fan for some wind as was advised too. I am not sure about the color of the leaves if they look normal. The baby leaf seems to be turning a bit yellow. The rest of the leaves seem to be a bit discolored as you can see in the pictures but mainly green though. Is this alright or am I doing something wrong here?

She seems to be doing well! I am still waiting for my 5 gallon pot. Would you advise to temporary repot it in an in between or leave it in here untill the big pot arrives? The bag is delayed, should have been here last week. Hopefully it is here by Wednesday. Feeding the plant about 1ml of every nutrient in 700ml bottle which lasts me for about 2-3 waterings.

Your plant looks OK in it's current pot. I would wait for your fabric pot to arrive before transplanting. If you have never used fabric pots be ready for the increased evaporation. You may need to water every day. Iv'e found that the roots do really well with daily watering and over watering is extremely difficult. When I water the soil on top is dry more than two knuckles deep and the sides and bottom of the pot are completely dry to the touch (I set mine on plastic risers so the bottom of the pot also gets airflow. When watering I do it slowly. The first water I spread evenly over the entire surface and let it soak in a minute or two. Once damp the soil can accept water faster without running off. Then a minute or two later apply more water evenly over the entire surface. If you have water coming out and running down the side of the pot you are watering too much too fast. If done right a half hour after watering the entire outside of your fabric pot should be moist/damp to the touch. If you water too much the excess will just run out the bottom.

Finally received the final pot, 5 liter smart pot. Transplant went smooth and well for as far I noticed. The roots developed fully in the smaller pot around the medium so she is happy in her new home i’d say. Started feeding a bit more nutrients and feeding about 2 liter every 2-3 days. So far so good. Looks like there aren’t much leaves for her size yet, is this normal? Hopefully she will bulk out im leaves soon. Added a handfull of guanokalong directly in the spot where i potted her and mixed the rest of the cup with the coco. Update Friday 11-6: The leaves seem to become a bit droopy and the lowest 2 sets of leaves seem to show discoloration at the endings. I have no clue what the reason is! I usually feed them 6.5ph level and around 800ppm and ec i think was 0.2 temp 25c. Humidity is currently 70% but i’m getting a dehumidifier to get it down a bit as i do know that’s pretty high. I don’t want to mistreat my plant, what can I do best? Can not post any questions anymore for some reason even do I feel quite in need of help with this. :( Nor does my growdiaries pop up when I updated it.

This girl is coming into week 7 as per tonight. Her growth has stunted last week so I just did a flush yesterday and fed her. Not planning on feeding her for the upcoming 3-4 days to see if that might help. Lowered the micro a little as some people mentioned I could have some nitrogen burn in my leaves over the last week. Took the leaves and branch down as they were the lower ones anyways. Honestly it could have been touching the ground but I figured I might as well take them down. I purchased a air dehumidifier as they RH was at 70. It currently is down to around 55, which I imagine is better. Contemplating buying some mykos to help with root growth or something similar but not sure if it will help the plant at this point.

It all depends on the size of your grow! plan on your plants almost doubling in size! You dont want to have your grow being over crowded towards the end. This could increase your chances mold, pests, etc. But as long as you have the space and the time, the longer you let it go in veg, the more returns you will get!

The plant is still quite small, flipping now won't give you much yield. I would wait until she is at half the maximum height that your light can go. Being an Indica dominant plant, stretch should not be that much, maybe in the order of 50-75% max. Tying the main stem down and aiming for a level canopy, like a table, will make flowering more effective. By tying the main stem down, this will also encourage the side branches to grow, giving you multiple colas. Hope this helps,............ Organoman.

I use the tape that is used for holding bandages. It's that breathable stuff that will stretch with the plant once it repairs itself. Or if its not fully broke and could be held up at 90 deg you could class it as an accidental super crop.

Could set up a wicking system with a bucket of water and some thick string. Call a friend to come in and water them Or get a self watering bottle attachment that slowly releases water into the medium from a old 2L bottle. Good Luck!

Flipped her to flowering hours 12/12 since yesterday. Super curious how long it will take to see her start blooming! I will start feeding flower nutes on the next feeding, probably tomorrow. The top of the stem accidentally cracked last week so it’s growing horizontally now which is a blessing in disguise! The rest of the leaves seems to be getting more light like this. A few holes appearing in some leaves, not sure why if this is a problem and why but for the rest she is doing great. Roots sticking out of the fabric pot below. Hopefully she start growing in height the upcoming week(s).

I have used general hydroponics website for a feed schedule with success. Usually they have a “transition” week labeled and I would start that maybe 5-7 days after the flip to 12/12. Then the next week after transition would be started more like after two full weeks. Hopefully that made sense. Sometimes I’ll kick up the bloom nutes quicker if it’s a faster flowering strain, and I start seeing pistils/flowers forming quicker than usual

Hello Fae I have just cropped a 50/50 hybird called north thunder fuck from royal queen seeds and I just followed the same basics I always follow strap yourself in its going to be a long one okay there are many factors growers consider when croping a plant yes the trichomes are important though with look at them and guaguing when to harvest. Don't Trichomes mature at different rates in different parts of the plant all you are looking at when you look at the trikes is the maturity of the trikes not the bud itself YES its is a very good sign they are ready for harvest but there are many other boxes we need to tick too. First of all let your nose come into play does she smell like a potent bud that you would smoke if the answer is no shes not ready. are there a large concentration of trikes in the buds how tall are they how big are the heads can they be left longer to grow larger or are they already so large they are snapping off (which is bad) also another huge thing to consider when harvesting is Pistil coulour generally buds that are mature the pistils will turn brown full and start to withdraw into the bud that is a very good sign a plant is ready for harvest. another point you haveto consider is new growth. Buds can devolope new growth when this happens then you have two options you can let it mature the same as your buds (which i advise) or you can crop her and just stick with the old growth that should be nice and dense if you keep her going longer you are 100% going to increase the potency and yield of your crop. The most powerful tool we have as growers is patience if you have that you will have much dense fatter smellier and stronger cannabis. though ultimatly this is your plant its your rules you do what you want my friend :)

Looks like a very mild nutrient burn. If you see it start growing further up the leaves then you'll need to flush. This happens to a lot of growers. Its pretty easy to over feed your plants.

Sorry, not familiar with that product. So many growers confuse fungus gnats with thrips. You are in flower now—- go with the yellow sticky traps and diatomaceous earth powder on the soil top. If it’s thrips, you will need a spray—- like neem, lost coast, dr zymes, etx. Good luck! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

I think you’re closer than that. Looking at the diary, it looks like you got a low yielding pheno or something else caused bud size to suffer. If you’ve already had it in flower 8 weeks, it’s probably close to chop - especially judging by the pistils/stigmas color. If you are planning a flush, I’d start now. I’d say 10-14 days til chop

In a word, no. Your plant needs those big fan leaves to make the energy she needs to grow her biggest and best flowers. Less leaves = less energy = less growth. It really is that simple! She will still have another 4-5 weeks of flowering to go, so don't get too worried just yet. Getting the best light you can afford will help your plants in the future grow their best buds. More watts = more buds. In all honesty, a 90watt light isn't going to set any records. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Should I start flushing her now or in a week or 2? She has been in flowering for about 5-6 weeks now. I'd like to wait for a bit more of a body high than purely head high. Not sure when you are supposed to flush then and how progress looks like for the plant the upcoming 2 weeks.

Google flushing. It’s controversial and possibly ineffective/not noticeable. I only flush for a few days. You also have a couple of weeks to go still! So even if you want to flush—- wait 2 weeks! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Leaves look a bit deteriorated but I'm not sure from what. I just take her easy and will start flushing soon, im thinking about next week. Give her one or two more feeds with nutes. I am currently feeding her twice a week 3 liters of water.

Figured out after so many weeks that her ppm and EC was of vegative state!! I started upping all mites last week and gave double nutes this time and last week's triple. Making sure I hit those ppm/EC stats that are required in flowering. I have to leave the 25th of September for 2 weeks so hopefully I can give her nutes another full week and than start flushing for the last 2 weeks.

I got 2 weeks untill I am away for 2 weeks. Should I start flushing now and harvest it next week so she can start curing while I am away for 2 weeks I have no one to mind it or help me out so she will be unattended for 2 weeks and I don't want to fuck up my buds.

You are looking good and frosty and 2 weeks might just make it, can you get a closer inspection of your trichomes to check for % of cloudy ones? If you dont have a superzoom you can try a decent magnifying glass and then zoom your camera lense through it, a bit fiddly to line up but you can get a good shot like that. The only issue with cutting and letting it dry for 2 weeks whilst you are away is that is might be too dry when you get back so suggestion is order some boveda / RQS humitidy packs to get your cure jars up to 60ish% rH. I had the same thing my first plant - had to chop maybe a week early in the end but it was still a good smoke :) Hope it all goes well for ya!

She seems to be ready to me. I'm just a greenie but she looks alright. The buds aren't increasing in size anymore, she is just turning a bit darker. Harvesting her tomorrow as I'll be away from her for the 2 weeks after so she'll be left to dry in dark room with ventilation. Starting flush my next watering and harvesting next Friday.

Is this normal color for orange critical punch? She is darker than last week at a few buds. I just want to make sure this normal or a form of mold or something. I'm harvesting her in 7 days. She is starting flush now.

I'm harvesting her on Friday after 2 days of darkness. She is being flushed right now. Afterwards she will be left alone in a dark room to dry for 2 weeks as I'm away with an average of 65% HR usually. Does she needs rehydration afterwards, which humidity % pack would you advise?

Hello, 55% is what you're looking for. I used a 62% Boveda pack once and found my bud a little too damp and moved to some 55% from another manufacturer. I think Boveda do a 58% and 49%. Not sure about in between. but either of those would be good.

Is this normal color for critical orange punch or bud rot? Just making sure before harvest on Friday that this isn't rot. Hopefully it's perfectly normal and part of the colours 🤞

First home grow, I'm super excited! 18.8 grams of buds after drying, I'd say not bad for my setup. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice the past weeks. Hopefully I can get a better grow light for the next grow.
