She seems to be ready to me. I'm just a greenie but she looks alright. The buds aren't increasing in size anymore, she is just turning a bit darker. Harvesting her tomorrow as I'll be away from her for the 2 weeks after so she'll be left to dry in dark room with ventilation. Starting flush my next watering and harvesting next Friday.

Ahh I have grew 3 generations of this pheno and one thing I can tell you is she aint slow lol. I grew the seeds then I grew 1st gen clones then 2nd gen clones outdoors. It's probably a mixture of thing my friend too much nutrients in the soil slowering her down too much water they don't need much at this stage the list goes on and on but as the grower has stated its most likely the seedling is just trying hard to fill the root space and create a nice root system. Plants can only grow as tall as their roots :) Just give her time and she will defo repay you in full :) If you wanna check out the diaries I did they are on here :) Peace out bro and best of luck for a happy harvest :) Plus for soil growth that looks about right for one week if you were using a hydro system or dwc then maybe it could grow abit quicker but I think your doing great as is the best thing to have in this game is patience you will find most of the time plants will never finish in the breeders time frame but most people know this lol :)

Like neo has said this lady is reaching for the light try moving the light down the around 30cm above the plant that should stop that take a look at my black sugar diary im in the same week with her I will only feed her if i have fed seedlings before and it has gone well usually i wont feed until about the 3rd node just incase i give her too much of something and stunt her though if yous et your nutrients at around an ec of 0.5 you should be okay. Best of luck shes healthy anyway which can be tricky for this stage but her health is all that matters well done bro keep up the great work. I ran 3 genorations of this pheno so check out my diaries if you wanna see how I did with the COP :)

Your plant looks OK in it's current pot. I would wait for your fabric pot to arrive before transplanting. If you have never used fabric pots be ready for the increased evaporation. You may need to water every day. Iv'e found that the roots do really well with daily watering and over watering is extremely difficult. When I water the soil on top is dry more than two knuckles deep and the sides and bottom of the pot are completely dry to the touch (I set mine on plastic risers so the bottom of the pot also gets airflow. When watering I do it slowly. The first water I spread evenly over the entire surface and let it soak in a minute or two. Once damp the soil can accept water faster without running off. Then a minute or two later apply more water evenly over the entire surface. If you have water coming out and running down the side of the pot you are watering too much too fast. If done right a half hour after watering the entire outside of your fabric pot should be moist/damp to the touch. If you water too much the excess will just run out the bottom.

It all depends on the size of your grow! plan on your plants almost doubling in size! You dont want to have your grow being over crowded towards the end. This could increase your chances mold, pests, etc. But as long as you have the space and the time, the longer you let it go in veg, the more returns you will get!

The plant is still quite small, flipping now won't give you much yield. I would wait until she is at half the maximum height that your light can go. Being an Indica dominant plant, stretch should not be that much, maybe in the order of 50-75% max. Tying the main stem down and aiming for a level canopy, like a table, will make flowering more effective. By tying the main stem down, this will also encourage the side branches to grow, giving you multiple colas. Hope this helps,............ Organoman.

I use the tape that is used for holding bandages. It's that breathable stuff that will stretch with the plant once it repairs itself. Or if its not fully broke and could be held up at 90 deg you could class it as an accidental super crop.

I have used general hydroponics website for a feed schedule with success. Usually they have a β€œtransition” week labeled and I would start that maybe 5-7 days after the flip to 12/12. Then the next week after transition would be started more like after two full weeks. Hopefully that made sense. Sometimes I’ll kick up the bloom nutes quicker if it’s a faster flowering strain, and I start seeing pistils/flowers forming quicker than usual

I think you’re closer than that. Looking at the diary, it looks like you got a low yielding pheno or something else caused bud size to suffer. If you’ve already had it in flower 8 weeks, it’s probably close to chop - especially judging by the pistils/stigmas color. If you are planning a flush, I’d start now. I’d say 10-14 days til chop

In a word, no. Your plant needs those big fan leaves to make the energy she needs to grow her biggest and best flowers. Less leaves = less energy = less growth. It really is that simple! She will still have another 4-5 weeks of flowering to go, so don't get too worried just yet. Getting the best light you can afford will help your plants in the future grow their best buds. More watts = more buds. In all honesty, a 90watt light isn't going to set any records. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Hello Fae I have just cropped a 50/50 hybird called north thunder fuck from royal queen seeds and I just followed the same basics I always follow strap yourself in its going to be a long one okay there are many factors growers consider when croping a plant yes the trichomes are important though with look at them and guaguing when to harvest. Don't Trichomes mature at different rates in different parts of the plant all you are looking at when you look at the trikes is the maturity of the trikes not the bud itself YES its is a very good sign they are ready for harvest but there are many other boxes we need to tick too. First of all let your nose come into play does she smell like a potent bud that you would smoke if the answer is no shes not ready. are there a large concentration of trikes in the buds how tall are they how big are the heads can they be left longer to grow larger or are they already so large they are snapping off (which is bad) also another huge thing to consider when harvesting is Pistil coulour generally buds that are mature the pistils will turn brown full and start to withdraw into the bud that is a very good sign a plant is ready for harvest. another point you haveto consider is new growth. Buds can devolope new growth when this happens then you have two options you can let it mature the same as your buds (which i advise) or you can crop her and just stick with the old growth that should be nice and dense if you keep her going longer you are 100% going to increase the potency and yield of your crop. The most powerful tool we have as growers is patience if you have that you will have much dense fatter smellier and stronger cannabis. though ultimatly this is your plant its your rules you do what you want my friend :)

You are looking good and frosty and 2 weeks might just make it, can you get a closer inspection of your trichomes to check for % of cloudy ones? If you dont have a superzoom you can try a decent magnifying glass and then zoom your camera lense through it, a bit fiddly to line up but you can get a good shot like that. The only issue with cutting and letting it dry for 2 weeks whilst you are away is that is might be too dry when you get back so suggestion is order some boveda / RQS humitidy packs to get your cure jars up to 60ish% rH. I had the same thing my first plant - had to chop maybe a week early in the end but it was still a good smoke :) Hope it all goes well for ya!

Hey mate, I answered your grow question lastnight about your runoff.. I just looked back and I dont think I explained fully. You can alternative with feeding plain water and nutrients. It may work for you. Many people use that method with good success! For your particular issue I'd recommend running double the amount of water through in one go. So for example if you feed 1L normally give 2L half plain PHd water and half your nute mix. The plain water will get rid of any buildup salts and then your girl will get a fresh load of nutrients. It sounds like you will be overwatering but dont worry you wont. Your substrate has a good mix so it will drain nicely. She may drop her leaves for an hour or so but she will be happy in the long run. You cant overwater in one go. Just allow the time for it to dry out (not fully, but pretty dry) how I manage it is by weight of the pot. If it feels light give her some water. It may take a bit longer to dry out than usual because it will be fully saturated (not much longer, just a little) so just check it's time rather than following your usual watering routine. I did this with my last watering and my girls seemed to have really liked it. I hope this helps πŸ™‚ Ps keep up the good work.. shes looking great πŸ‘πŸ‘Š

@InspireMe, My housemate has a 1 or 2 liter one for drinking tapwater. So I’ll just use that and put it in a bottle and feed the plant. I have a 2.2liter bottle so i’ll just use that from now on to feed her. I just transplanted her as the bag and soil finally arrived. The roots were all around so she grew the max she could in that pot I guess. Can’t wait to see her blossom in her new home 😁😁

@Faegrows, oh nice one! Sounds like you just need a new filter and it will be back at 0ppm! Really strange that you already had one lmao (but awsome)! If you are transplanting its recommended that the soil be a little wet. Not soaked properly a day or 2 after watering would probably be best. It's hard to say as I dont know how fast yours drys 😝. I'd look at a youtube vid so you can get a better idea, it's quite a delicate process. So I'd feed based on your transplant. It sounds like you may want to feed today (only if shes ready though)

Hi Faegrows, after reviewing what I wrote in response to your question, I thought I would offer some tips to help your babies along. Giving fulvic acid, humic acid or amino acids will really help your girls. Giving them a mixture of all three is a bit like the icing on the cake, your plants will love you for doing so. These products are organic and actually extremely beneficial, unlike molasses which is a joke with no real benefits at all. Another product I can highly recommend is "Mykos" by Xtreme Gardening. After experimenting with it over the last few years, I am now of the opinion that there is no way I would ever grow without it ever again, so impressed I am with the results. "Mykos" is a beneficial soil mycorrhizae that live in a symbiotic relationship with your plants roots. The mycorrhizae need the roots to live on and in return the mycorrhizae "pre-digest" and assimilate nutrients into forms that the plant can more easily and more effectively use. So it is a win-win situation for both the mycorrhizae and the plants. Results in experiments I have conducted show clear evidence as to how much these mycorrhizae boost the health of the plants. Due to the increased efficiency of nutrient absorption and availability, feeding supplemental nutrients is not required as often and the plants seem to grow as if by magic. I do not work for Xtreme Gardening or get any type of rewards for promoting their product, I just want everyone to know how these natural bacteria help plant growth. I guess it is a bit like yoghurt for plants - a pro-biotic for cannabis if you will. It should be available in most grow shops, but if not, EBay have it. It might not be the cheapest amendment out there, but worth every cent in my opinion. You can add it at any time and you don't need to use much, but adding it right from the start is obviously the most beneficial. Good luck with the rest of your grow, I have been doing so for 35+ years and still learn something every time I grow. Growing cannabis is a fascinating and rewarding hobby and I am sure you will enjoy every aspect of it, in the quest for growing the healthiest plants you can. I can also highly recommend "Sweet Seeds", their strains are highly stable and easy to grow, producing plants that leave nothing wanting. They have become my "go to" breeder and if ever you want to try them out, all I can say is "go for it!". You will not be disappointed. I only grow photoperiod plants, I don't like autos for various reasons (instability, poor yields, fussy plants etc) but if you want to try some photoperiods yourself, give Sweet Zenzation, Red Hot Cookies, Gorilla Girl, Indigo Berry Kush or San Fernando Lemon Kush a go, all are superb. In fact, Sweet Seeds don't seem to have any duds and I have tried nearly every strain they have. I have only tried "Blow Mind", "Cream Mandarine XXL" and "Crystal Candy" from their auto lines, many years ago, and they performed well. Their new auto strains seem to be even better and I can't imagine anything Sweet Seeds release as being poor quality. As a side note, some photoperiod plants can be just as fast to grow as auto plants. Using a typical 12-14 week cycle, you can veg photos for 4-6 weeks then flower for 6-8 weeks, being nearly identical time wise to autoflowers. Yields are vastly superior and from easier to grow plants, all while using much less electricity. With autos at 18/6 for the whole grow versus 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering, the electricity savings from growing photoperiod plants is substantial. Again, I do not receive any kick-backs for plugging Sweet Seeds products, but after years of trying seeds from many, many breeders, the cream has risen to the top, and that is Sweet Seeds in a nut shell - the cream of the crop! And the best thing is - year after year, the same strains are always of the same quality and with super stable genetics. It is not a case of one year having good plants then the next year having something completely different in either quality or genetics. They are a well sorted company that are quiet achievers. Have I sold you yet?? Try "Sweet Zenzation" it will really impress you and flowering is quite quick too. Anyway, good luck and happy growing, it is a marvellous past time with endless learning. Regards, Organoman.

@@GrandpaSam, you will not be disappointed, this is the first time I test the C.O.P. which I got as a sample from DP, but I have already ordered another one. The vigor and growth characteristics make this strain worthy of attention :D
