Wanted to go for 2 strawberry, but one just refused to germinate so ended up picking out another random seed to go with her. Fingers crossed they finish in about the same time.

Coming on ok. Still wish they were on the exact same timescale, but I may get lazy and just pretend they are in a few weeks. Haven't made up my mind as to whether or not I want to LST or let them go natural again, as it went well last grow without too much interference. But as I got my best results with nutrients Ive ever had, I think i may be too tempted to try and LST in combination for a better yield.

I think the strawberry pie has decided to start flowering. I did some LST in the morning, but then changed my mind in the afternoon, so think I'll let them both go natural and see what happens. Hopefully Gelato will start showing hairs soon so there's not too much time difference between the two. Lovely fresh smell of growing plants, like not weedy but nice and fresh 👌 lovely rich deep green colour from the strawberry pie too 👌

All going well. Not much to report, although I'm starting to hate the fucking fabric pots again, as they just leak all over the places and are a right pain. I'll be bloody pissed if they end up stunting their growth like i found on a previous grow, I did try and get a size bigger than I think practical to avoid that problem again. Gelato seems to have caught up height. considering slacking off the difference in days, its only a few after all...

Getting a bit of discolouration to the leaf tips of the Strawberry pie. I suspect I have gone a bit too strong with the feeding. Will dilute more for future. Fabric pots getting on my tits again with the water shooting out of it every time I water... Gelato has caught up in height! Needs to calm down and just focus on making fat buds now, so will have a word... Bit of nutrient burn on the strawberry, have given just water for a few days and will resume with lighter mix when I next feed.

New grow, new leaf colours! I think it could be over feeding, but would like to see peeps opinions if possible. Have stuck to the feeding schedule, but the fabric pots might be making things more complicated somehow?

Yes, fabric pots can change things. They are great because it is more difficult to over water in a fabric pot versus a solid pot. The water can drain freely everywhere, evaporation is increased and the roots get more oxygen. You can flush the soil with lots of plain pH adjusted water if you think you went way over on nutes and want to get rid of them quickly. If the yellow tips came on a bit slowly like you are only a bit heavy on nutes I would do normal watering for a week and then resume with a proper nutrient amount.

Been getting hot, so temps up a bit more than I would like, but not too terrible considering its still relatively early days in the flowering stage. Been giving both plants a bit more water than nutrients. The Gelato is still fine, but just to be safe I've reined it in a bit for both of them (mainly because as if im mixing up two different feeds...) The visual differences of the two genetics is pretty cool to see so clearly. Noticed that the gelato had a mad growth spurt over weeks 4-5!!

Nothing too much to report. Still growing and I haven't made the nutrient burn much worse from the looks of it, so all OK. Think the heat this week has slowed them down a bit, wish I had some CO2. Strawberry is starting to get some frost, but shes definitely pretty sensitive to nutes as I started feeding again and the yellowing immediately started to get worse. Gelato is just a great proportioned plant, wish I had room to let her grow even bigger!

Strawberry pie is starting to get pretty dusty now. Looks good considering the time she's got left to go. I expect some pretty sticky buds from her. Gelato not so much, but shes obviously pretty far behind her lifecycle, but the bid sites are looking ok IMO, so think they'll turn out great. I seem to have lost my sense of smell a bit (despite testing negative a few times) but the wife has informed me that they 'fucking stink' so I guess they're smelling good finally 😂 Despite the dusty buds forming on the strawberry, I am a little disappointed at the bud sites as they seem a bit too densely packed and not that tall. Hopefully all the gelato bud sites become as dense as that and make up for it.

All going ok I think. Keeping it light with the feeding, but I think the Strawberry Pie is just pretty damaged as the leaf ends are just crisping up. I dont think it can be light as the Gelato is so much higher and closer....

Strawberry is looking pretty dusty now (I wish I could smell her 😩). Gelato has some nice sized buds and assume theyre going to get all dusty in the coming week or so. I really hope theyre not too far off harvesting together as I really dont want to have to try and dry in a box that is still growing.... Took a look under a little microscope and I can see that theyre surprisingly similar in terms of their clear/cloudy/amber trichomes and think I might actually be ok to harvest them both at the same time!!!

Decided to switch to water now (day 70/73) and just keep an eye on the trich colours as i dont' think it'll be too long before they're both ready. The strawberry pie has probably 80% cloudy with very few amber, whereas the gelato has like 70% cloudy but 10% amber, so its a bit tricky to tell how long theyve got to go. I'll hold out another week at least I think. Gelaot's main cola is getting to heavy every time I move her I think its going to snap the main stem, hopefully a good sign 😇 Still waiting for the nice cloudy/amber balance for both. Think another week should be fine, although I wish I had given nutes a bit more as I think theyre both exhausting their supply of everything a bit too quickly. Still looking pretty good for both plants so I'm a happy camper so far!

Good grow, pretty short and squat plant but has some dens AF looking colas, just sensitive to the nutrients, so will rein them in from early if I do it again. Bit disappointed at the real weight after drying. Im looking forward to finding out how she tastes, but if I grow this again I'll have to triple the amount of plants in there to make it worth while...

Great strain that took to nutes well and produces an even spread throughout all the colas. Will definitely grow this one again, but will implement some LST to try and keep the main cola away from the lights and give a wider density to all the buds. Not so bad, an even Oz, but still not earth shattering. Might grow again and implement some LST to get some more out of her.
