This plant is moving fast! I started it in a rapid rooter in my DWC setup. At beginning, reservoir is at 50ppm until yellowing of leaves. Bumped up to about 100ppm. WIth voodoo juice, it is bringing up my ppms slowly - which is why it is around 120ppm currently. I will make sure it doesn't go over 150ppm this week. Today is day 4 since plant sprouted; I'm already seeing the taproot out of the bottom of the netpot. Definitely the fastest plant I've grown to date to expose roots. Looking forward to seeing this one grow fast! (UPDATE: DAY 6) Plant seems to be developing 3 fan leaves instead of the usual 2. Nothing else about it appears off or bad -- so I'm hoping this will be all good!

This is my first plant that has 3 sets of leaves rather than 2. I'm not going to top this one and will let it do it's thing. I'll likely just do some LST, but I'd like to see how fast this one grows. I'm increasing my top feed drippers to about 5 minutes on per every 2 hours. I'm hoping to see some explosive growth this week with this plant.

Sorry I didn't update earlier. This plant is growing good. There are 4 nodes with a 5th appearing now -- about the time I'd usually top my plants. Since this is a ~60 day strain, I'm not going to top this one. Plus, I have very limited space in my 4x4 tent. I have two plants in there that are a few weeks away from harvest, so they're hard to control! This plant is healthy, though today I noticed it looking a bit yellow. Could be because it is struggling to get light, the lights are too far away (other plants would be too close), or my nutrients need to be swapped out. I am going to try a nutrient swap today, and will keep it around 250 PPM. I may actually mix half veg nutrients, and half flowering nutrients. With such a short lifespan, this thing has got to be switching to flowering soon! I ALWAYS APPRECIATE INPUT, SO PLEASE THROW YOUR IDEAS AT ME! UPDATE: I had what I thought was slight yellowing of the leaves. I'm an idiot -- it turned out to be the way my LEDs look coming through my larger plants nearby. So it was essentially shade vs light. Thanks for everyone's input! I boosted PPMS to 350, and had no issues. Glad to give it a higher level of nutrients. I removed the top feed on day 20. Roots are healthy and robust enough that it likely won't make a difference if I top feed anymore.

What do you think is causing my yellowing leaves? My first guess is nutrients weak -- though 200-250PPM seems enough to not yellow? I can bump up to maybe 350ppm? That sounds high to me. Could also be my grow light being too far? It's about 36 inches away. Ideas?

The plant does not seems to be stretching so I don't think it's a light distance issue. 250 PPM is fine for a seedling, but now your pant is leaving seedling stage and entering full vegetative growth, so it's starting to demand a bit more nutrients. Ramp it up slowly, 350 PPM sounds fine, you can always feed a stronger solution later if it's not enough. Don't start bloom nutes yet, the first part of the flowering stage, the stretch needs grow nutes, I would switch to bloom nutes in 2 weeks when the stretch slows down.

This plant looks to be taking off. It's grown a lot over the past week, and it seems to be in its preflowering stretch at this point. Pistils are not yet visible, but should be appearing over the next week (I'm assuming). I'll switch over to flowering nutrients possibly in the middle of this week once I see pistils present. Otherwise, conditions are stable. My other plants are taking over the tent -- but in about 2 weeks, some of those are coming down. So this plant should start getting a lot more light in a couple weeks (just in time for flowering!). UPDATE: I've switched to flowering nutrients as of day 29. Pistils were showing, and it's stretched quite a bit in the last week!

My tent has been crammed for the past two months, so I am letting this plant grow naturally. I didn't even have any space to do LST -- so this girl is going to be au natural. I'm going to take off some of the massive fan leaves towards the top to open up the bottom, however, and plan on doing that tomorrow. I'll add a few more photos. It had an interesting tri-leaf pattern early on, now it's doing some interesting things where one stalk goes up as one but splits into two -- and not the way we're used to. It's like they're conjoined stalks up to a certain point (see photos with red circle). I'm curious if anyone has seen it before...super interesting. In the picture it is the side stalk that looks way bigger than the others. I wonder what would happen if I supercrop it? 😵

Plant is looking healthy. I just harvested two plants so this plant is going to finally get all the light she wants. Because the other plants were so large and the lights were high, this plant stretched quite a bit but actually grew to be the tallest of all 4 -- it's currently at 30" tall. Roots look healthy, have a bit of staining from my B-52. It's getting at least 600 GPH of oxygen through 4 large air stones. I'm hoping to see some nice bud development over the next two weeks. This is definitely not going to finish in 60 days, but I have plenty of smoke and am in no rush. I did begin lollypopping this and getting most of the low buds off. I have still have a few more to cut off but might wait another day or two so I don't stress the plant out too much. When I did pull off some lower and larger fan leaves, the smell was DEFINITELY lemon. They got this strain spot on with the smell!

Plant looks healthy. Trichomes have appeared. There is no way this will be done in 60 days. Hoping to see some major bud growth over the next two weeks. Making sure PPMs are around 500ppm every 4-5 days. DAY 54 Update: Harvested another plant and freed up some space in the tent. This one has plenty of room now. I also moved it under a Perfect Sun LED that I have in the back corner. We'll see how she likes it. They typically run a bit hotter than my ViparSpectras, so I have it a bit higher now. I'll update the height next week so I can have a few days to let it adjust and tell me if it likes it or not. Buds are becoming more full and pronounced. Trichome production in full swing. Looks like it could use some defoliation so I will start doing that over the next couple of days. I just gave it more nutrients (~400ppm) as it was down to about 125ppm. I'll start a light defoliation to open up the middle buds and give it some breathing room. Fan leaves are massive and thin. Nice lemon smell from leaves I've pulled off.

Plant is doing well. Had a problem with what I believe was pH/calMag intake but that has been resolved. Buds are growing quick, trichomes are appearing steadily. Surprisingly tight node spacing. Will like to see some more fattening up. Looks to have 2-3 weeks left at least. As usual (for me), I’ve been feeding 500-550 ppm every 3-4 Days, or when the plant drops below 150ppm. Really bulking up. Looks like it has a bit more bulking up to do.

Strain is smelling so good! Tent smells very strong like lemon/citrus. Buds are starting to put on some weight. Still looks to be at least 2 weeks away. For not topping this, I’m getting a lot of good sized buds. Lollipopped branches definitely helped on this one. Might have slowed her down a bit, but it looks to be growing strong. Looking forward to some more mass gaining over the next week! UPDATE: Flushing as of day 69.

I just cut this down today, so I don’t have dry weight. And since I hang dry, wet weight would be mostly stems and doesn’t provide much insight. This thing grew easily. I didn’t Top it, but lollipopped it and didn’t some light defoliation. Buds got massive, including side buds. Would have liked to see them a little more dense, but its hard to tell what they’ll look like when dried. These are the biggest buds I’ve ever had, for sure. Also, got MASSIVE amount of trimmings - most off any plant I’ve grown to date. Seems like this plant would be awesome for essential oil. It was loaded in trichomes and gummed up our scissors so much. I’ll post dry weight and pictures in 4-5 Days. Will review strain effects in 2-3 weeks after a short cure. SMOKE REPORT: This is a fantastic strain to grow. Most of my friends say this is their favorite. It's a strong high, a good lemon flavor, and it looks beautiful! Lemon is spot on for the name -- I wouldn't describe it any other way. The cool thing about this strain is that some of the trichomes stay white the entire time -- they're still white even now after a couple months of cure. It's got a strong smell of lemons and citrus. I really like this one for its strong flavor -- I'll definitely be growing this strain again!
